I found one regular Dr. Strange as well today at my Dedham TRU. Odd though since there was not a single other figure from the wave there at all. Maybe he was a return? Also, the back of the card had a deep slice in it, as though a razor cutting into the case had grazed his card.

Hey everyone. In my travels to Swansea today I saw 2 skystrikers at TRU swansea and 3 skystrikers at swansea target. Also Benny's in Bristol as well as stop and shop in Bristol both have 1 Low Light. No new Joes to report though

Both warwick targets had MU wave 14 revision case today. I picked up an extra normal Strange if anyone still looking for one. Skystrikers are everywhere now. Warwick tjmaxx had poc mechs for $10. Also had TF rts lugnuts and strafe and HA jazz there.

I'm just looking for 1x 30th Cobra Viper (red forearms) if anyone comes across an extra.

Marshals in Warwick/Cranston near Bobs had some the same Single figures of 25th as TJ Max near Target. TJ Max has Wave Two vehicles. Two Mole Pods and one Snarler cycle as well as those mechs. Marshals has the night raven.

Target int he mall had the same Mu as the one in Bald Hill. Skystrikers a plenty for them as well. Bald hill as croc master and snake eyes along with destro, mall just had destro.

I just canceled my smalljoes order for the first 30th Anniversary wave. Too much stuff coming too fast between all the lines I'm collecting. Plus I have to save up for the Star Wars Blu-Ray coming out in a few weeks. Somethig had to give and these were not essential to my life. I didn't need the extra army builders anyway.

So, I'm only in the market for Stalker and 2 Hazard Vipers if anyone spots them at retail or has extra from a case they're looking to dump.

I thought you guys might like to see a comprehensive shot of all of the 36 POC carded figures that have been released (not including Python Croc Master or Prototype Blowtorch, who remain MIA). I was reorganizing my archived carded figures last night and decided to take a picture. I also threw in the wave 3 Duke error that I found sealed on a Storm Shadow card last year just for fun.

In addition to these single-carded figures, I believe there were 12 other vehicle drivers released (not in photo):

Yes. If you have a S&S card and you enter it, both joes and MU should come in at 4.99 each. Pegs or not, and marked or not- it worked for me as recently as Tuesday. Be careful though, some of the new MU waves are in the store but not in the system.

Yea. I was on top of one location knowing they were getting two cases in last night, but they weren't out this morning and I had to go to work. That being said there were 4 IGs and 4 Stalkers as of 3PM at Post Rd. if anyone wants them.

Thanks to Mike I was able to get a set for myself at another location and grab a couple figures for 2 other tankers. If Post Rd had more, I would have grabbed them for more people on here. Unfortunately, that was not the case. People help me out and I help people out. That's how it should be to me. Who knows. I hope some people on here were able to get them. If not, they'll get more.

I've been super busy this month but luckily I haven't seen anything new in quite a while. I wonder if we will still see more POC waves 5 & 6 since they really haven't shown up and stores are holding stock in the back because they can't sell those damn Arctic Destros. Smithfield Target put out even more Arctic Destros and about 3-4 wave 3 Dukes.

Warwick TRU has tons of Skystrikers btw and about 6 MP Rodimus.

In case anyone doesn't know, the Woonsocket Wal-mart is closing on Spetember 13 and the new Super Wal-mart will open on September 14 in North Smithfield on Rt 146A / Eddie Dowling Highway. Lucky for me it's about a mile from my house. Could be a new stop from some Tankers who don't get into Woonsocket since the new one is right off a main highway.

Wave 5 has basically come and gone, in all of my regular travels there are no signs of it anywhere on the north or south shores of MA anymore. Maybe a stray hawk or blowtorch if you're lucky.

Wave 6 remnants are scattered about some targets, but the rest of the targets will almost surely be fully stocked with 10+ Arctic Destros.

Thanks to my stealth force recon partner for the intel on where to find the 30th Vamp and Black Dragon on Friday, and I found a leftover 30th Stalker and IG at some TRUs as well.

You are correct. Only the mechs, which were the first releases as well as relatively poor sellers, have shown up at TJX stores around here. Also, I'm sure there will still be plenty of the old 25th, ROC stuff leftover from last Christmas too that we'll see pop up.

Part of my question isn't relevant now because of the recent Q & A. The only part that would be of relevance would be what they thought the 7-packs could be. I did see the softball chart....something about hitting tots with softballs and winning toys, right?

I don't think they should combine all of the Cons. It's not like Hasbro is the one paying for them. The GIJCC should be able to run the Con how they want. I don't know all the ins and outs of how it all works, but it seems like most people would want them separate.

Warwick TJ Maxx on Bald Hill had 3 Cobra Mechs and 1 Joe Mech as of last night. There was one each of the Firebat and RAM? Flight Pod near the registers.

They also had 2 Leader Class ROTF Optimus Primes for $25 each.

The Target next door had 2 Skystrikers and 3 Artic Destros. Even the Star Wars pegs were pathetic - mostly Wave 1 and 2 peg warmers.

Seems like there are a number of Skystrikers on the shelves around the state and no figures. Anyone think the Skystrikers will be clearanced by the holidays?

Remnants have been appearing at Targets. Figures are not in the system and don't ring in, but they've been appearing. Got quite a few of the troopers last month. Shadow Ninja and a few other guys have found them too.

I stopped in tru during my break today it was crazy to see, stalkers, hazard vipers, several IGs, and cobra troopers. The vipers and steel were gone before I got there. They also had three I think hot rods for people looking for those.

The second Destroyer has not been released yet. We'll be lucky if we ever see that wave- the first wave of thor figures sold horrendously and the second wave barely saw the light of day. I've only spotted a few single cases of them at random targets and some rite aids.

Also, I was under the impression that the FIRST destroyer figure (fireblast destroyer) was the darker one while the second one was a brighter, silvery finish...? I only have the first one as well.

Attleboro Wal-Mart had Vamps and Black Dragons this morning. Picked up a Vamp around 10-10:30 today, which left 1 Vamp and three Dragons on the shelf. For figures, all they had was 1 Skydive and a Snake Eyes.

Well don't go to the Warwick one at least a week or so. I cleaned the Senior center out and until wave four disappears from the one near Warwick Vets it's not going to have 30th. Hopefully you'll find that at least one or two benny's have the stock in that could give you at least four if your lucky. If I find any in the future I'll pm you. I wanted two cause now I have 5 Vipers in all.

Oh Biglots got some more PTE stock in Warwick. Nothing major. Those 13 dollar automobiles and the Watch Towers. Both Green and Tan. Also one f-18 from last year up in the doll section at the very top.

I sold quite a few last year too but I still have the most of anyone I know. And where the hell is Steve finding all those Volcano vipers? Surely there can't have been that many at local Benny's, or is it just eBay?

Oh maan- you had to ask! There are 30 HoH vipers (the ones that you saw) on my shelf (all I had room for) but I have at least 2 dozen more bagged or still MOC in storage way under the desk where I got you that carded Ripper. And then there's my small but growing army of POC and 30th vipers if you want to count them as well. I'll have to tally everything up the next time I go under the desk but my guess would be at least 60-65 that I know of. And then there are all the dreaded non-chrome vipers I had from the 25th line, but I think I only had maybe 10-15 of those, not sure. I also have a sh*tload of BATs too... but probably not as many as dgnr8!

See the thing is I don't expect someone to give me these three vipers, nor are they obligated in anyway to help me find said figures. This is the way I've always shopped, you snooze you buy on ebay.

I've hooked plenty of people up (most of the time at cost, sometimes less, sometimes a little more to compensate for gas...sometimes a hot tip or a grab and stash)...many people that have posted in this thread actually (I don't think I need to make a list, do I? You know who you are). Some people have hooked me up, too. I don't really see what the problem is as far as that goes. The real problem is that there aren't enough figures to go around. Some stores aren't restocking. If people don't have the time, energy, or luck hunting, then there's always online (eBay, BBTS, SJ, etc.). Everyone's got options.

We have a great gi joe community round here and i am to be part of it. You lead by great example.

My issue is and has been for years I think some people troopbuild so crazy it ruins it for other fans. Just like scalpers ruin it for fans too. I'm not comparing and saying its the same because I know troopbuilders are def fans.

It makes me laugh when someone says I need ten more whatever, when I know some fans can't find any.

I agree with fastdraw a big part is supply and demand. Seems fans fight just to get joes on the shelves all over the country now.

Squibbles- you make some great points and I completely understand how you feel. The hobby definitely comes with its frustrations, I can't tell you how many times over the last 4 years that I've shown up somewhere like 20 minutes too late and all the good figures from a wave have been taken. But I think if one continues to put a reasonable effort into the hunt, it can be a very rewarding experience. I know it sounds blunt, but the old "early bird gets the worm" philosophy is true indeed in the world of figure hunting at retail. The only thing I would slightly differ with you on is "leaving good figures for everybody else". My rule is, typically, if I see it and it's a popular or in-demand figure, I usually buy it. I'm not going to leave a desirable figure swinging there on the pegs for some douchebag lurker or scalper to come along and take, regardless of whether or not I have the peace of mind in thinking that someone who needs it might get it. I am a retail reconnaissance soldier and NO store shelf is safe! Always bring that sh*t home with you, lol. If I don't keep it for myself (which is my prerogative since I took the time to hunt for it), I will almost always sell it to someone I know on here that's looking for it. And like Fast-Draw, for example (who I've bought from on several occasions, and is an honest and helpful guy as most of you know... Pardon the ass-kissing!), I'm honestly not in it for a monetary profit and will gladly sell it at cost. The bigger profit for me is knowing that someone I know got why they wanted and that they will in turn help me out someday when I need something that they have. It's great to have so many pairs of eyes on your side helping you out and it forms a solid network, especially when there's not a lot of competition and you're looking for different things.

That having been said, I think a reasonable amount of army building is acceptable, but if some dude decides to travel around the state to consciously swipe every single one of a character from every store just to be selfish, that's different. I think any army builder knows inside that you really CAN eventually have "enough" of one figure, haha.

I think the biggest overall problem with the world of Joe and the reason we're having this conversation in the first place is that there just aren't enough figures in stores. Imagine one of those huge Star Wars or Green Lantern displays at TRU just packed with vipers and troopers and such- they would all sell! Anyway, best of luck to all of you here during the hunt, and at the end of the day, be thankful for what we do have.

Found two cobra troopers, will trade even for vipers.

I've got no greater issue than trying to build a squad of 3 to 5 vipers. Stores don't stock for shit, and anyone who wants to army build should. Scalpers are fuckers, but they are the ones selling on ebay.

Like I said, I'll get them off ebay cause I'm at work all day with my first baby at 7 months old at home after work. Snooze=Lose. I can accept that, but I don't have to like it. ;)

see,... I get what everyone is saying. Thing is, this hobby requires you to be able to have time to hunt,....and even then, it has to be on the right days or times. Some of us have put effort into knowing when those days are and are there ready to buy when they hit the shelves.

Some of us are troop builders,..myself included. I buy what I want when I see it, and if I don't find it, then I go about other means to get them. Now, if I know someone is looking for something, I will pick it up for them. I have helped out other RI and MA Tankers (FD, SN, Airtight, DS, Beam, SS,..ect.) at cost or in trade. What gets on my nerves though is when people complain that there are no figures left on the shelf. If I go to a store and they have a fresh case out, do you really expect me to leave them there? If I don't buy them, someone else will. Now if you really wanted them, you would post that in the boards and someone would help you out.

As of right now, I have 30th Cobra Troopers and Steel Brigades up for grabs, but not one person has stated they are looking for them yet. It goes both ways.

Sorry if I sound insincere, but communication is key. I thought the point of the sightings thread was not only to help locate items as they appear, but let other Tankers know they need stuff.

First because there is like 15 of us, can you imagine trying to coordinate an event on 15 different schedules? I can't make it to many events, cause of the fam, so I try to stay in the loop through shadow ninja. Should folks invite me to something when they know damn well I'm at work or obligated otherwise, NO! That'd just make me jealous!

I'm not blaming the lack of product on pegs at all..I blame that solely on distribution. I was just at TRU in Warwick and there was 2 IG's..but the kicker is there was just 1 peg..target Warwick Mall nothin but arctic destros..pretty pathetic. Not like back when we were kids when there were aisles full of Joes, T'Formers, etc..I'm not hating on ppl that are fortunate to find the figures on shelves. Okay so where do I start.... Hmmm. First I'm sure I have a lot of people backing me that I have helped or have tried to help.. If I'm out hunting myself then I will grab the items for people and they get it at cost from me plus I usually eat the change if it's like 23 cents 35 cents etc.. I have good intel and Air-Tight, Tucker, Dreadnok619 and Destro's Son can back that.. I have told Air-Tight where and when a case will be and 2 weeks ago he got his first figures. Three weeks ago I told DGNR8 and Destro's Son that Warwick had a case in the back. Neither one could make it there that Friday and Fast Draw scored them at opening on Saturday morning. Just today I told DS where he could have got 3 Vipers but he was working... (Bummer dude) Notice I'm not saying where they are..

I have helped a lot of people out and one of the best moves Tucker made was meeting me and that is his own personal quote!!! I am not a douche bag unlike some people might think. I have always told people to come to meets when they have been planned.. Now if you have other engagements such as work, a baseball game, picking daisies out in a green pasture then that is your buisness but don't cry about not making it to a meet. While we are on the subject if said person named "Joeblow" invites me and a couple other Tankers over to his/or her house for a mini meet but doesn't invite someone else what am I going to do say I'm not going cause so and so didn't get invited... Reality is there are people on here who might not get along with one another.. I am taking the high road on here and not going to drop bombs because its just not worth it but if it came to it I have plenty of people backing me and can also refer people to an incident that KingofPain can get my back on as well.. Most of the guys on here can't make lunch and there were about 3 luncheons that myself, DS, DGNR8, Fast Draw, and Dreadnok619 made.. Most of the other guys were working.. I'd like to weigh in on this also, Shadow Ninja, Tragic Habits, DGNR8, and Fast Draw have gone way out of the way to welcome me and hook me up.
Airtight and I have yet to hook up in person, but I assure you, he's rad.

Like Tight said, SN is the guy who while he's going to school and writing papers, he's trying to hook you up. Friggin incredible guy.
Tragic Habits and I are brothers from back a couple years ago, and S.Ninja and I met this summer. I had lunch with Fast Draw, DGNR8 and S.Ninja. We had a lot of fun and B-man hooked me up with my skystriker.

Looks like those ROC figures hidden in a top secret warehouse are starting to come out. Marshalls in Lincoln Mall has several pegs of them. Nothing great to speak of. No 25th to be found.

North Smithfield Walmart had 2 Black Dragons and a Vamp as of yesterday afternoon. Still the same old revision wave on the pegs. I'm the same person I've always been . someone who dislikes purple soldiers with odd tools. Techno-Wiper originally came out when I was just starting to get away from Joes and try to get dates - it's never cool to play with action figures while in high school. So the nostalgia is not there for me.

I'm down for all the ones listed above so you have a willing buyer if your stuck with multiples. We'll see how the case assortment shakes out. I'm even down for one each of Renegades Scarlet and Tunnel Rat. I'd also pick up multiples of the Zombie Viper and the Renegades Cobra Trooper. I'm thinking 4 would be good. That's my typical army building number.

And what's this about destroying figures? For shame. Although it is better and cheaper than spending $80 on a Star Wars Blu-Ray set and burning it without even opening it. Someone really did that and posted it on youtube. Waste of money considering it became the #1 selling Blu-Ray.

I am now the proud owner of a U.S.S. Flagg. In fantastic condition, no yellowing, and missing only 6 or 7 small parts (5 of which are now on their way to me in the mail).

That thing is a beast. Just out of curiosity, how do the ME figures fit on it? Any areas where they're too big?

As of 10:30 this morning, Wal Mart on Post has two Black Dragons, and one Vamp.

Benny's on Warwick Ave (Next to Salvation Army)has two IGs, Two heavy gunner Destros, and the Wave 3 ROC Alpha vehicles.

It certainly is. At around 7.5', it hardly fits across the floor in my small apartment. Woke up this morning to cross the room and shut off my alarm clock, and just missed hitting the edge of a skystriker's wing in the dark! The ME figures look great on it, the only areas that are a bit tight are the chairs inside the tower, the lower deck balcony at the stern, and the fuel truck seat- you just need to reposition the figures to fit properly. (all of which were designed for O-ring joes too, understandably.)

The shear scale of the USS FLAGG is something that will not be seen every again. It shows the power of GI Joe in the early/mid 80's for Hasbro to produce something that huge. It is a pipedream to have Hasbro retool certain areas to fit ME figure and re-release it. While everyone wants one, the price point would be too high for a majority of collectors. I know Star Wars fans would love to have a Jabba's Sail Barge of that scale.

On another note, I'm sold on Renegades figures. I just read the reviews on GeneralJoes.com and I didn't think I'd like the figures going in. But I'm sold on particularly on Duke, who has the best Duke headsculpt and Firefly. Even though Resolute Single Carded Duke and ROC TRU Firefly are my definitive versions, these come darn close.

With Wave 1 already on pegs it must only be a short time before we see cases of Renegades figures show up.

Reading all the posts about how Hasbro should re-release the flagg is one thing, but after swinging by Airtight's place and seeing this monster in person, There is absolutely no way this could be recreated and priced at anything people could afford.

I came back from running around Warwick.
1. Benny's in Warwick near Walmart no longer has the Two IG's I bought them with the mindset if I purchase them more well come. As such the entire 30th wave is gone. They should be new figures there in a week or so.

2. Walmart now has only one black Helicopter. They have no new stuff to report but seems to be getting delivery's of the vehicles quick. I bought a Vamp on Saturday and they already have another. This is the one near Aldrich.

3.Target in the mall has skystrikers 34.99 and the Ultron wave of the Marvel Universe. Got myself a Dr. Doom and Ultron figure. They also had Falcon. DCUC Lex Luthor, Flash, and Scarecrow from the color lantern wave.

4. Toys R Us Two Iron Grenadiers and the skystriker which goes for 40 bucks. A whole bunch of Marvel Universe but nothing new or big to report. DCUC Atom and White Hal from the Color Lantern wave. I also bought the X-men Destiny game to get a 25 dollar gift card.

Went to biglots and they didn't get any new PTE stuff in but I bought myself another little bird. I love them better than I like the Joe ones.

N. Attleboro Target was pathetic as usual. Wave 3 Dukes, Spin Kick Snake Eyes, and Arctic Destros. That was about it. Even the Star Wars section has tons of peg warmers. Those 3-packs were on sale ... $17.99, a whopping $2 off. Thanks Target.

Just curious. Got everything from waves 1-4 and the 30th line just doesn't grab my interest like the POC carded stuff did.
It also doesn't help that the 30th line in itself is not easy to come by.
