Lifeline, he states he is a pacifist several times, never throws a punch and even Cobra uses that to their advantage in "The Most Dangerous Thing in the World"
but then by the time the last episode "Into Your Tent I will Silently Creep rolls around, this happens.
Lifeline we thought we knew ye:

It's one of those retrofitted apple launching guns to fight giant bacteria. Totally pacifistic!

There' an episode of GI Joe where the Joes out run a Cobra bullet train on Kentucky Thoroughbred horses... I'm thinking that the cartoon wasn't exactly the source for reliable knowledge.
Edit: Plus the original toy came with a loose pistol and a molded on, holstered second... and a knife the same way. Just cause one don't care to or believe in doing something doesn't mean one won't if the circumstances call for it.

He was just holding the gun for Hawk while he made a pre-game speech.

I'm pretty sure that is a Doc animation error.

I did click on the link. For some reason Doc is now white and wearing red instead of being black and wearing tan.

Not to mention also wearing Lifeline's clothes. Considering Doc is nowhere in this episode, I'm pretty sure the only error here is that an animator gave Lifeline a gun

I've always wondered this.... If Lifeline is treating wounded on the battlefield, and suddenly his position is overrun with enemy troopers, does he just cower, or take the hypocratic oeth to heart and use the pistols he carries to defend his wounded?
Kind of like Shepard Book...pacifistic beliefs may be a bit fuzzy when it comes to kneecaps.

I just love the pissed off look on his face. "why do I have to hold this laser rifle?"

Weeeellll...
Technically the Hippocratic oath applies to doctors, not medics. I've been a medic for 15 years on 3 different continents and I never took an oath saying I wouldn't throw some lead at the bad guys if they came my way.
