Interesting.

This isnt CGI. Its blue screen. Unless you thought Storm shadow was CGI?

. . . not the greatest of leaked footage ever recorded. They could have at least captured Sienna Miller having a wardrobe malfunction.

Looks like Storm Shadow is going to be sneaking into a 70's disco club in his cool white suit.

...You quoted me before I editted in the very vital info. My footage is not some stuntmen in some scene while the real actors are home sipping vitamin water... I got you the real deal buddy! I don't mess with rumors. I'm a proffesional youtube surfer-take credit for a find-kinda guy.

I miss the old school special effects where they had to play the camera angles right and THINK out a shot before they took it. Now they run the camera and try to fix everything in post production. A piece of crap remains a piece of crap no matter how much one tries to shine it. Mario Bava would not approve

Agreed.

They do the same thing in music production now a days too. It's gross.

Althought I see the use of computers being beneficial in the production of a Toy story, or Final Fantasy type film.

A band like Kraftwerk, could benifit from it, as well as a lot of hip hop production.

However when you try to incorporate a real life actor into a CGI Generated world, it looks exactly like what it is , Phony.

I don't like any special effects. They aren't realistic enough.

Who said they were inserting storm shadow into a CGI world? Maybe he is doing something on the edge of a building and its not practical to have the actor hanging off the ledge. Placing that image on something doesnt mean its a CGI generated world.

Wait, you watch movies for realism? I can save you a lot of time, dont watch movies, they arent real.

Well my instinct, and intuition tells me it will be.

It is impressive to see a fake world made to seem real.

uh...300 was 100% CGI and I loved it soooo I wouldn't completely dog CGI. But anyway, I also enjoy a very subtle blend of special effects and realism.

GI Joe is a toy based on Lasers, Ninjas and giant bases. Unless they do the movie in the dirty, gritty, no frills style (which we know they are not) I think we will be seeing alot of CGI.

Just hope it's not over the top.

I believe she's had a few "official" ones in her acting career.

As basic as the clip was (I thought it was pretty cool by the way, thanks for directing me to it) It's probably the last day on the job for someone once they track down whoever got it on their cameraphone.

Oh, that'd be bad news. Storm Shadow making off with another ninja's ride...

As far as the clip goes, it's like all the other ones. Too far away to make out the actors, and you don't get the context in which things are happening so it's kind of *yawn* BUT thanks for sharing - I'll look out for that scene when the movie comes.

It may not be a CGI insert - It could be a pre-filmed 'real' environment being inserted behind the actor. The height meaning it wouldn't be safe for him to do it 'live'.
