Dr. Mindbender

Not really much to say. Considering going with a lighter purple and using lower arms that do not have arm bands. Would appreciate any input or feedback.

I will be posting alot more customs throughout the week.

Wow, I'm amazed! Very straightforward, very nice. Looks like Hasbro produced him. Time to search eBay for his accessories, that'll complete the look. :D

Great job on the sculpting. He really is a great representation of the original. I'm not crazy about the head, though. I probably would have gone with the original JvC head which is more like the original with the monacle. I would also update the cape- modern figures have really done away with that type of cape. All in all it's a really great job. Top notch craftsmanship.

Wow what an excellent job. I hope hasbro takes the same modern day concept you did. I have to admit I hated the DR Mindbender as a kid growing up, it was like playing with the monopoly man. The entire sculpt is great from the new head, to the molded chest piece and arm gauntlets. What an amazing job. I hope hasbro takes the same approach.

i wouldn't fuck with the purple color at all. i don't love the arm bands, but it's a great torso for the project... so it's a solid trade off.

overall it looks great.

Looks awesome! You can always switch out the arms for a pair of the Xamot/Tomax ones. Great job on the sculpting. I'm with Miked about the cape, maybe use Serpentors cape as a template and attach it to the shoulders?

thanks for all the feedback. As far as the recipe i used the older valor vs venom mindbender, storm shadows cp torso and molded the shoulder straps, wrist gauntlets, and crotch piece. .The upper legs were from the v1 destro. I also used the viper boots and original dr mindbender cape. I am debating if I should use the GI JOE vs Cobra Dr Mindbender head and cape instead. Let me know your opinion.
