So what happens if we already paid 3 months ahead? My subscription is good for 2 more months.
Nevermind just read it. Oh well. I sold the game on ebay last week. It was pretty terrible.
It's not bad in a console-ish way but I dunno how much depth/end-game it has. And Sony are having some pretty major issues dealing with the influx of players. The servers have been up and down since about 11 AM this morning.

The game is just so dull. The graphics are bland, the buildings have no detail. All the fights are just a button mash. I was very disappointed in this game. It costs me 60 bucks then another 30 in subscription. But I sold it and put the money toward Battlefield so it's all good.

You don't need to pay anything right now. You can download the client for free and try for free. However be warned the client is over 12GBs and right now the servers are in chaos because so many new people just signed up, so I've barely been on this week.

I've heard nothing but bad reviews about this game.
I'm actually enjoying this. It's more akin to playing CoD than WoW (or similar) but it's fun. There are a few very annoying bugs (such as quests that won't complete due to bugs) and it's a bit Kill Ten Rats but it's genuinely fun.

downloading the GL pack now. Gonna try to play again if I can find the time
I'm having a lot of fun with this game. It's a little weird around the edges at times and some of the MMO conventions seem turned on their heads but once you figure out what's going on (and I'm sure the manual would help) it's a really fun game.

Yeah I'm getting to the point where I think I'm going to need to ask people for help. I just can't fight all these guys by my lonesome. I was hoping to be able to pull off the quests by myself but I guess I can't go all Batman loner.

I totally understand what you mean about it being a "button mashing" game, so with that said you are right about it not being worth the money as far as an MMO goes.
Once it went F2P I downloaded it and I've been playing it for the last few days. I must say I do enjoy it, but on the same level as I enjoyed the Marvel series such as "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" series and the "X-Men Legends" series. That's exactly what it reminds me of, not an MMO.
In any case I don't think that it was ever worth paying a subscription for, but I do think it's worth the price of the game and should have been free to play online from the release date just like most other games are.
In fact this is the first game on PS3 that I recall had a subription service, but I'm sure that there were 1 or 2 others before it that I didn't pay attention to. This is just the first one I happened to notice which people had to pay in order to play after purchasing the game in the first place. I do know that it happens on PC all of the time though.
There's an aspect of button mashing for sure but there's also a strategic element involved with your skills - some require combos and planning to work effectively.
I dunno how much depth it has but I'm 27 now and still having fun...
