Hey fellow Hiss Tankers, I was at Target on Saturday and they had all of the newish Hasbro 12" Joes, including the K9 Unit which I thought was really cool.
I was wondering, since I totally outside of 12" collecting, how easy would it be to turn this guy into Law? I figure you'd need essentially a new shirt and vest, plus an Uzi and nightstick. Would these accessories be relatively easy to find at this scale? What 3rd party sites to you guys recommend for getting 1/6th scale gear and clothes? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I would think it would be pretty easy. It might not be 100% accurate but more of a modern take. Try Googling 21 century 1/6 accessories or even
Dragon
Hot toys
Sideshow
I'd start there then head to eBay. There's going to be tons of options. Hell I might pick one up now and do the same not a bad idea... maybe the firefighter could be turned into a BBQ.

You should be able to get most of what you would need at Cotswold collectables, here is the link;
Cotswold Collectibles - Home of GI Joe and The Elite Brigade (http://www.gijoeelite.com/f_home.asp)
Be sure to post some befor and after pics.

I picked him up today on my lunch break, so I will check out some of the sites and dealers you guys mentioned and see what I can come up with. Thanks!

Really the only hard thin I think would be a red shirt but you can always just get a Ken's red shirt so it should be fairly easy.

Check it out:
Helmet: http://www.gijoeelite.com/f_itemPart.asp?strPart=GIEU-14MP
Uzi: http://www.gijoeelite.com/f_itemPart.asp?strPart=GIEW%2D98
I have to decide if I want to shoot for red shirt/blue vest or white shirt/navy vest like v.4, because that is the one I own.
I'm also thinking about keeping the modern helmet and navy pants, then going with the white/navy as sort of an updated or POC-style take. Sky seems to be the limit at this scale!

I just jumped into this thread and I'm excited already. Like one of the previous guys said, you better do some before and after pics. I really want to see the end result of a 12" custom.
