Just curious, and this will sound dumb probably, but I thought Zartan's face changed color in sun-light, but, for some reason, mine is not.

Any thoughts, or am I just completely off the mark on this one?

What version of Zartan are you talking about?

I've heard that after 20 plus years, the original Zartan will not change color anymore.

I'm talking about the 25th version, sorry.
I didn't think it was water 'cos I remember (or thought I remember) reading on the forums that someone got their figure and half the face was different colored in the package.

That's what I read. Anyone out there able to slog through the tons of news we got these past couple weeks to confirm this?

I did the water thing and it changed blue with cold. Wish it was sunlight-activated like the old one.

I put it in the freezer and it turned green. I posted pics in the forum.

DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE or NOT??

Because the last time I checked, mine still changed colors but the only thing that had me worried the most, was the time it took for my Zartan to change colors! I couldn't really recall but the original figure that I had as a kid, "seemed" like it took no time for it to instantly react to the sunlight or heat source. Where as my current Zartan takes a good minute or so before he got really greener, so I'm not sure if that's typical or not... :(

Oh yeah, and please excuse me for my off-topicness! :D

Not even out of the package, my zartan looks like he's about to hurl chunk.

makes me want him more!

Exactly what color is and what circumstances trgger Zartan's skin condition for the 25th? I know the original was blue and sunlight

(Merged your Zartan Face thread to this one, loud master)

This time it's more green and it's affected by temperature. Cold water changes it, warm water brings it back. Or just drop it in a freezer for a few minutes.

It seems to me that Hasbro went the way of Eco Warriors on this one by making a normal figure, then painting on color changing paint. This is my assumption from seeing reports of some Zartans only having half a green face, only the front of the neck changes and then mine having a definate line under the chin where the green stops and the regular skin color continues.

Yup, its temp change. Plunk him in the freezer for a min or so and he goes bright green. Turn on a hair dryer and watch as he face goes back to normal. Could be possibly that I keep my apt temp a bit colder (69 ish) and the AC runs alot lately, but he does stay a 'bit' greener normally.
