Between the Marvel run and the Devil's Due run, has there ever been a comprehensive list of who all has been Killed in Action on all sides? Joes, Cobras, Dreadnoks...any of them. If IDW is relaunching the continuity, I wonder who will make a comeback.
Here's a few off the top of my head, but by no means complete:
Breaker
Flash
Doc
Sneak Peek
Battle force 2000 (minus Dodger?)
Lady Jaye
Mainframe (actually listed as MIA)
Quick Kick
Heavy Metal
Crank Case
Dr. Mindbender
Billy
Monkeywrench
Cool Breeze
Raptor
Serpentor
Chuckles
Shooter

I know there's more, but for now that's all I got.

List of G.I. Joe ARAH characters - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_G.I._Joe_ARAH_characters) seems to be fairly comprehensive. It only lists those who had action figures, though.

Didn't Dice get killed in Master and Apprentice 2 by Budo?

Yeah, thats a good list! I did see some missing names though.

For some reason, I thought Lifeline was KIA in the Marvel comics (108-113). Am I mistaken?

Didn't Croc master die in the marvel run also?

Yeah I'm pretty sure Croc Master was killed in the landlocked frieghter with a bunch of others did anyone mention Fred VII yet, he died there also.

Also Croc Master II was killed by Baroness she also killed Wraith.

Crazylegs is also dead.
Soft Master
Blind Master
Dr. Venom

Nope Lifeline is quite alive, he's helping the new Doc at Walter Reed and other locales during WW3.

We'll have to update this list, and maybe sticky as it gets refined.

Well, they did keep figures on runs even when they were dead...
I thought for a long time that Lifeline was KIA though... I know he's in the DDP series, I just thought it was a over looked thing by DDP...

I'd like to see that too, I'm missing about the last 30 or so issues of the Marvel run so I don't think I have it.

Wow thanks Ern.

I don't think any of the characters are above a good death, but man the way Lady Jaye died was B.S.. If she had to go, for gods sake let Baroness or somebody cool get her.

Had the toys been as popular then as they are now, I don't think Hasbro would have let them do that.

Thanks Ern! That's a great list. There's lots of those I hope to be "resurrected" in the new title. Flash, Lady Jaye & Billy top the list.

Zefram - LJ was killed by one of the red shadows. Delia stabbed her with a piece of wreckage. It was very lacking as far as Joe deaths go. But Flint's ruthlessness after that was kinda cool.

Flint's ruthlessness after that was kinda cool.

For me that was one of the highlights of the early America's Elite issues, Flint was a bad-ass and wanted to kill every Cobra in his path, it was awesome. After his little hiatus though it pissed me off that he was back to his old self, no more angry Flint. They should have kept him pissed off and blood-thirsty.

I agree. he was awesome when he was a Cobra killin' machine!
I would loved for the "angry" Flint to have been around at the end of WWIII to go out in a blaze of glory, taking as many Cobras with him as he made some huge sacrifice to save the others.
"For you Jaye..." then BOOM!

On a random note: I just got Marvel #93, it has a shot of SE with out any mask. Now I just need 94-96....

Darklon was killed by Cobra Commander in a missle strike in Marvel #146 I only know this from that wikipedia list. I do have scans of the whole series and checked it out. It's fairly lackluster. Are you sure you meant Darklon?

The Jugglers
Hector Ramirez
Dr. Biggles-Jones
Timber (Natural Causes)
Junkyard (Natural Causes)

(Not sure about Polly & Order)

and technically Snake Eyes died. he was resurrected with some ninja hoojoo.

Dr. Henry E. Miller

The only death I really remember is Chuckles, and that he got stabbed like halfway off the frame by Overlord I think, it was hilarious.

Thanks BigErn! I also remember that the Red Shadows gunned down Tracker on the beach. they also called him "Action Man", a nod the the RAH repaint figure in the TRU 6-pack. Seems like the Red Shadows took out a few, but I don't have all those issues handy.

Sadly, Joe is right... I just looked at my #146... Destro shot a missile and blew him up. I will say, it was kinda funny....lol

How did you guys feel when they killed off the first batch of Joes in the Marvel run? When the Saw-Viper opened up on Doc? I was about 11 and couldn't believe Joes were dead. I remember getting a little suspicious when Marvel was asking for people to send in a list of their favorite joes about a year before it all happened. It started somewhere in the mid-90s issues, I think.

hey that is just as ironically funny. I just thought of the bridgelayer thing and picture a wile e coyote thing going on. But the real way he died(thanks for clearing that up by the way whoever did) is still pretty damned funny.

I remember getting a Sneak Peak figure, I dunno why I liked him, maybe it was because he was the first 'fat' joe I had seen, and it just made him different lol. Anyhoo, I picked up a GI Joe comic, which I hadnt been able to read yet, and it was the issue where Sneak Peak gets killed, and it flippin freaked me out haha. I was so used to the cartoon, that seein this just didn't compute with me at the time.

I then later blamed him getting killed for the fact that he was a fat joe figure.

He couldn't run fast enough.

On a side note though, I want to add the issue numbers for each characters death to the list, so if anyone wants to help, post what you know and I'll add it.
