I bought this figure to trade for some ARAH Joe con figs. But, now that I've got him, I'm rethinking that since this figure harkens back to the original vision of Cobra.

Nice profile, Mike. And I have to say the analysis on the whole "SDCC is more important than Joe con" exclusive situation is a very telling thing. It's nice to see someone talk straight in the joe community now-a-days, it seems like a lot of cats (on other sites mainly) fear talking bad about ol Hasbro. I figure those 5 questions that they've been worked into beliving is more than lipservice is something they don't want to lose

Pretty good read, I have one problem though. The body SDCC CC uses is not for an upcoming Toht figure. The Indiana Jones team at Hasbro has said it is the body of Donovan from the end of the "Last Crusade" movie.

you might want to use some "margin" on your body copy in the future...

i also don't see how the exclusive is a slap in the face at all, i think you overestimate Hasbro's involvement in the Joecon. It's put on by a private third party that orders their exclusives from Hasbro, not Hasbro. and both exclusives were announced in plenty of time for one to make an informed decision. (and i didn't have a problem getting mine off HTS, but i realize some did. KOOOOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it came back into stock, what 2-3 more times after the first day?)
