Anybody on here watch this show? I found it on Netflix a couple of weeks ago and I'm hooked. About halfway through the episodes they have available on instant.

Interesting show. Has kinder, gentler approach than most SWAT shows.

They definitely try to bring everyone home alive but they can also pull the trigger when they need to. I think it is more realistic than some of the other cop shows currently on.
One aspect I didnt like was the relationship between the new guy on the team and the pink power ranger girl. no need for it.
One of my all time favorites was The Shield and this is not that kind of show but I think it is just as good.

Looks like Flashpoint has moved to the Ion network. They're showing new episodes Tuesdays @ 10PM.

I've only seen the first season, but liked what I saw. Too many shows like CSI, CRIMINAL MINDS and such only wheel the SWAT teams on as background during tactical entries and arrests, then they disappear. FLASHPOINT paints them as non-gung ho and human. I also like how they consider an actual shooting as a 'failure' of their mission.

That's because it's made in Canada. It's shot in my town. Many of the stories are based on real local crimes.

You guys have some crazy shit going on up there in the North Country. I've only seen a couple of episodes of it but isnt Rookie Blues based in Canada too? Down to 2 episodes of FP left on Netflix and then I'm not sure what will happen- we don't have cable right now as a cost cutting measure.

Ion network (when we had cable) is how I got hooked on Criminal Minds too.
