i just came from a kmart in winter springs (orlando area) and they had all 5 of the single pack 25th ann.
including black and a white version of snakes eyes and timber. the cards were all bent like someone had sat on them which is par for the course with k-mart these days but i'm cracking them open anyways so no biggie.
i also checked at a tru today and nada there.

25th Anniversary has hit all stores now.
Since we are now in 4th quarter all store have reset thier stores and should now have the new Joes. Target, TRU and Kaybee all have them in stock here in the Broward area.

So today or yesterday (it's early saturday morning already) I drove up from the Keys to Bradenton. I'm going to SLAMFEST (custom truck show) in Tampa so I decided to stop at a bunch of Wal-Mart's along I-75 on the way up.

I completed Wave 2 with four troopers.

Miami area Wal-Mart's are hit or miss but that's where I got Buzzer and one Trooper.

Naples area Wal-Mart's I got Lady Jay, Serpentor, and Three more Troopers.

and in Bradenton I got one Beachead. But found the remains of many wave 2 cases e.i. lots of Hooded CC, SE and SS.

My friend Steve who collects Power Team was in Big Lots here in Gulfport And on the shelves were as he put it "Sigma Heaven" Anyways he bought most of it and is on his way over, sets include 2.5 zartan with swamp skier and b.a.t., a sigma boat with mini sub, a sigma six R.O.C.C. As soon as he gets here I'm dragging out my Power team elite because I want these .......So be on the look out start checking BIG LOTS!!!!!!

In the past 2-3 months I have picked up the whole 25th collection that has been released all the way up to the wave 2 comic 2 packs. (with the exception of black repaint snake eyes, he's been elusive to me.)

In various cities though, all throughout central florida and the east coast. Orlando area, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Area,.... I'm on a mission :)

Everything is out there around here you just have to find it.

Anybody seen the Snake Eyes wave 5 repaint in Florida?

P.S. IF I SEE ANOTHER HOODED COBRA COMMANDER WARMING THESE PEGS I'M GOING TO SCREAM!.. anyone else having that problem too? I'll go places that are sold out of everything else, but have 5 hooded cobra commanders.

So far in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area, I've only seen up through wave 3 and no comic packs.

Only seen a couple restocks of wave 3 as well. Sucks.

In the WPB area we seem to be stuck now on waves 2 and 3, Joe and Cobra initial 5 packs still around (although starting to thin out now), Legions 5 packs around still somewhat, and now comic 2 packs wave 1 are just NOW showing up. :(

All the shelves in the local stores seem to be reset now after the holidays, I've had the most luck at Target, Wal Mart, and K-mart (in that order).

Other than that, anything newer I've either had to order off the internet from vendors, or purchase via E-bay.

Oh yeah, TRU too, but that has been a lot of hit and miss (a lot like K-Mart).

Walmart has been my best friend.

Hit up an out of the way wal-mart today and scored wave 2 comic packs! This particular wal-mart is a non-supercenter and I last checked it out back in late november. At that time they had no joes of any kind or even pegs designated for singles. Today I checked it out on a hunch and "boom", 4 full pegs of comic packs!!

I got lucky with the Wave 2 comic packs, I decided to make a 2 am walmart run and stumbled upon them restocking, then I stalked all of the Hasbro boxes and found the G.I.Joes....

don't know how they all come packed but they got one box,

2 dreadknocks
2 destro breaker
3 scarlett
1 Snake eyes.

Targets have all been getting the two-packs but I've only been seeing wave 1's there.

Hit 3 Toy's R Us today. All completely DRY! have been for weeks!

still have not found my black repaint.

Hopefully your wave 2 comic packs start to trickle down this way.Still NO sign of wave 5.I have a GOOD feeling that within 1 to 2 weeks max wave 5 will be showing around a lot more.Especially once Walmart is done with there inventory crap.Happy Hunting!!!!Other than that wave 3 was around but don't stay long for sure.That's a good thing in a way.

we did get a small shipment of wave 5's in central florida about 3-4 weeks ago. but i only saw one figure of each kind.

I check orlando religiously and there havent been any wave 5's since.

wave 4's have been non existent here. is there any difference between those figures and the box set figures? any variations?

My understanding of wave 4 is that there is no differences at all from the 5 pack versions. No fixed articulation, crotches or anything. I've been hitting 3 WM supercenters for literally a week, twice a day and although 3 pegs of comic packs is dwindling, the single pegs have a layer of dust on them!

I have a feeling when they finally hit, they are gonna hit with a vengeance though!

What part of the world are you in Char?

Good luck with Volusia County, I've been checking the Port Orange, New Smyrna, Daytona, and Ormond Targets Walmarts and Kmarts and the walmarts haven't even had pegs for 25th anniversary figures in months. It's been about a week since I've looked but Orlando walmarts have been re-doing their shelves so hopefully once I get back that way they will have made some progress. (kmarts have been dry, and targets as well, all empty shelves from what I've seen) Any luck over there?

Also I picked up a Wave 5 at the Walmart in Titusville, off of I-95. I don't know if theres more than 1 over there, so I hope someone knows where I'm talking about, If you ever happen in that direction.

I commute weekly between New Smyrna Beach, FL and Orlando, FL. I'm in Orlando about 5-6 days a week and in New Smyrna (near Daytona) 1-2 days a week. Where abouts are you?

Happy to say Wave 5's are at Target on Colonial. When I left they had a few Flash, Crimson, and IG Destro. No Snow Jobs. I finally found my Snake Eyes black repaint but I got the only one they had. (not finding him was driving me insane)

This includes the comic packs with the Dreads, Destro and Breaker.

I too am now looking for a spare black SE 1 repaint myself.

We got 2 cases of wave 5 in at the Target I work at (N. Dale Mabry BTW). Picked up IG Destro, 2 CG, Snow Job, and Flash. Left everything else, didn't want to deprive anyone else of some CG goodness.

Btw, they didn't ring up on file, so I gave them the DPCI 087-06-0021.
Well by the time I got there you guys were down to a CG and a Flash, but I can't thank you enough for giving me a fair shot at that CG. Around town I also found a Snake Eyes and one more CG. I called it a happy haul. Saw no IG Destros or SJ's.

Let me know if you need help finding anything. I consider that tip a solid.

Well, checked out the Culter Ridge Target and K-Mart, and Target had the comic 2-packs and some of wave 3, I was able to grap two red ninjas.K-Mart had nothing.Also checked out the BigLots there as well, they had some of the Valor vs Venom 2-packs for 6 bucks,They had 5 Scarlett vs a Scorpion Trooper, 2 Heavy Duty vs another weird Corbra trooper with claws, 2 Hi-Tech vs Dr.Mindbender, and 1 Snake Eyes vs Storm Shadow.I didn't get any of those.

orlando target next to fashion square mall had a case of wave 4 on the pegs yesterday. I grabbed the storm shadow and air trooper and left the rest. I found the remnants of wave 5 (cobra commander and shipwreck) on the pegs at 4 orlando area targets this week.

Hey guys. New to the boards here. I live in Orlando and work third shift. I usually check three different Wal*Marts every night. The one on Sand Lake and John Young, the newish one on Turkey Lake Road and the one on 535 near Kissimmee. Wave two comic packs have started popping up around here but all the Breakers only have one gun so I havent been buying them. I only saw the Snow Job wave once about a month ago but half the figures had already been bought and the rest had messed up cards. Havent seen Wave 4 yet, I need a Duke and an Air Trooper. I also stop at the Kirkman WM a couple times a week after I get out of class at Valencia.

Edit: Stock off the top of my head from the WMs I went to tonite:

SL+JYP - 5-packs on clearance for $17

Turkey Lake Rd. - One comic pack (think it was Scarlett/Hawk), one single carded hooded CC and 5-packs on clearance for $17

535 - Couple of Breaker/Destro comic packs (Breaker only had one gun in both), couple of other comic packs (one Hawk/Scarlett and one Duke/CC I think) and 5-packs on clearance for $17.

Between 2 Walmarts and a Target in Melbourne, we got 3 wave 5 cases (based on the shipwrecks and hooded cobra commanders left over) and 2 cases of wave 4 (based on the 2 scarletts left.)

At one walmart they werent there Thursday but were gone by Friday night. So I still haven't seen any w5 and none of the w4 that I actually want.

Ive come to the conclusion that having a job means its impossible to beat the ebay scalpers here.

You're dead right my friend, I've had to get very creative in tracking down these suckers. It doesn't help that there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when they put stuck out at brick and mortar stores??

I pretty much run a mix of pre-ordering online at BBTS and strategically hitting targets and wal-marts either early in the morning or late at night and always on my lunch breaks. It's taken time and effort but I've found all of wave 4 and most of 5 (except snake eyes and destro)?

I've found pretty much everything in Broward at least once, Target is the best, KB is pretty much closing, and TRU only has 5 packs and comic packs. Lately, the only thing on the shelves has been Buzzer, shipwreck, hooded CC along with tons of wave 1 comic packs. Try Target on Saturday mornings because that's when they usually restock the toy department. Haven't seen anything at Wal-mart, but they were reordering their shelves, so they might have them by now.

- if they had anything when I was there, it was a shipwreck or a cobracommander. and some comic packs. mostlycomic 2 packs, with no single figures though.

Just came from Target in Waterford Lakes (Orlando) and they had 7 troopers, 3 officers, and stalkers, buzzers, shipwrecks, and red ninjas galore! Also went to the Oviedo Target and they had 2 officers and 5 troopers!

I'm curious to see if you Orlando people will get Wave6/Wave 3 comics before I see a wave 5 in Melbourne. I still need an officer, so if I'm bored one weekend I may just drive to Orlando.

Walmart finally sold their last remaining hooded CC single card, so there are 4 completely empty pegs.

Edit: One of my friends found me an officer on the way home left from what looks to be a single wave 3 revision case.

Swafus, none left, i picked up the set they had.
It was really wierd because i went last night really late to check the pallets before they stocked and there were no joe boxes on the pallets.

but i went back today around 2 because i thought "what the hell" because i was in the plaza anyway.

its weird i dont know if they didnt put all the pallets out or what, but that was deff not there with the boxes last night.

I found all 4 Wave 3 Comic packs at Wal-Mart in South Broward/Ft. Lauderdale area yesterday...check on Saturday mornings, that seems to be when they put them out...

Alrighty guys these are my finds.

West Colonial Walmart - has Wave 4 single cards. They look like they had gotten in 1 box, they had 1 of each, roadblock, gung ho, destro etc.

Toys R Us West Colonial - dry!

Target West Colonial - some old comic 2 packs and ccs and shipwrecks that have been there for weeks.

Turkey Lake Walmart - They got in 6 boxes of Joes that they have not put on shelve yet, because................ THEY ARE SIX BOXES OF THE SAME STUFF THAT ALREADY HAS THERE PEGS FULL! (red ninjas, serpentors, the enemy, zartan) ARGHHH!!!

its a troop builders heaven i guess. but i want some wave 6 : /

Went to KMart on Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines (Broward) yesterday and found 2 CG, wave 5 SE, 1 IG Destro, 1 Shipwreck (big surprise their!) 2 SNow Jobs, 2 Flash, along with a bunch of wave 1 and 2 comic packs (including dreadnoks!) I only bought the CG's so their is still a lot left because I don't think people remember that Kmart is still open and those have probably been there for a little while.

I'm working with my people in other counties. I just picked up the "Wave 6-esque" equivalent of the My Little Pony world to trade with a pony collector for Joes. I have an operative in another county now. Muah hah hah!! ... but i still can't find the wave 6..

I bought Torpedo a boat. Now he just has to come home to me!

I keep seeing that BBTS is shipping them, but has anyone spotted them in retail in the east coast?

Walked into the Viera Walmart to see some guy putting a wave 4 Duke and Destro into his basket. Missed it by 5 seconds. Got a metal faced CC, so now I just need Duke/Destro/Storm Shadow to finish out the w4 I want.

So the Palm Bay Rd Walmart got what looks like at least 4 cases of wave 4, but all the Destros were gone (but there were 4 Dukes, 4 CCs, and I think 4 Scarletts and Road blocks.) I got the last storm shadow, but the bubble is kinda crushed. So I went to TRU and what did they have.. a perfect SS and a bunch of hooded CC crap.

I'm just waiting on ChariJoe to find wave 6 in Orlando and then we should expect to see them here shortly after.

All I found around orlando was a bunch of wave 4, and a bunch of stalkers/serpentors.

Volusia county had alot of wave 4s as well, and thats actually good for the area there, they had wave 3 comics recently, and they never used to have anything. So I still have hope for wave 6 there soon as well.

Oh I will find my elusive little Torpedo.... :)

Turkey lake Walmart Had 4 sets of wave 6 on the pegs along with at least 4 crimson guards, snowjobs, IG Destros, and Air troopers.

They had about 8 unopened boxes of wave 6 they hadn't stocked yet.

I found the same cases and comic packs at walmart this afternoon and some of the figures had chrome shiny GI JOE cards. some did and some did'nt. loving the new case pack with IG ,snow job, crimson guard, the enemy, air trooper, BACC , torpedo, rock n roll. wow 3 F@##n troop builders in one case love the enemy and crimsons

I went looking for exclusive battle packs today and Vehicles at Target. (hell there showing up in cali or overseas... i have faith!) I have switched focuses. :)However, the Toys R Us people are beginning to know know my name.. and are now asking me "If I've found it yet".. <3

other than that everything kinda sucked today.

Nah man it wasn't me. I don't have any wave 6 (altho I saw the leftover Beachhead/Serpentor from a w6 case at Wickham.) I won't ever just load up all of the Joes like that. I think you may have seen the person I suspect is cleaning out PB and Wickham Walmarts. I bought a w5 IG Destro at Target and that's the only figure of the 2008 waves that I've ever seen. I'm willing to bet it's the same guy, but someone also always gets every Storm Shadow and Air Trooper from all of the W4 cases they put out.

When did you see this?

Also, let me know what you're looking for and I can pick them up for you and trade in person (or sell for cost) if you want.

Gas to Orlando comes awfully close to what it breaks down as per figure if you just order by the case from BBTS. Even more so now that Wal-Mart increased their price to 5.44 a figure.

Edit: Oh and I hear Orlando is a good place to get shot. ;-)

It was last night around 7. I'm actually current on my Joes as I ordered a Wave 6 case from BBTS. The guy was actually pretty rude. Would grab all of one character off the shelf, inspect all 3 or 4 carefully, then just throw them in the cart. I reached for a Snowjob, and he grabbed all 3 before I could get it, then put one back (which I bought). Quite a rude guy, I think we have a common nuisance in this town.
Young guy too, maybe in his late-teens, early 20s. Hispanic. Hipster clothes.
If you guys ever see me out there, I'm a 6'3 23 year old who's close to 300 pounds; so be aware I'm not the guy buying all of them. I'm a customizer, so occasionally I'll buy parts, but I'll always give the figure if it's a double and the person acts like they want it.

It really irritates me too, because I've lived here for 19 years, and for most of my collecting days there have never been people like that in our area.

Except the idiot in Altamonte who told me they had battle packs and they'd hold one for me. To my surprise "they didnt know which one i wanted, so they held all of them".... now this would normally be exciting, except that their idea of a battle pack contains two figures and a comic book.

Wickham Walmart had the usual pegwarmer assortment. Hooded/Metal face CC, 3x Scarlett, 2x Roadblock, Shipwreck, Stalker.

They have gotten some w3 comics, 2x Ace/WW, Destro/Breaker, 3x W3 SS/SE.

Same crap as usual.

I also ordered a W6 revision case from BBTS, so I'm not too worried about finding them in store. I just want a double of Armored CC and Torpedo.

Just went to Wal-Mart on Griffin and Flamingo in Broward County, picked up the last of the wave 6, but they definetely had 2 cases of Wave 6 as well as 2 each of Wave 1-3 Comic Packs. There is only one Tomax/Xamot and one Torch/Ripper left though. Most of the singles are CC, funny, before I grabbed the Wave 6 CC there was all three (hooded, helmet, and BA) on the same peg. there is a snow job and a few CG's left though.

I did some mild Toys R Us stalking and picked these guys up in Clearwater.

I spoke to the stock person at Toys R Us on Colonial (West Oaks Mall) He said that he stocked four himself. Two each, and an hour later they were gone. Now he checked the system and they were not sold. This was confirmed by the cashier that they were indeed not sold.

Apparently a collector / Scalper found them.....was to broke to pay for them and hid them in the store! My job has its perks and after some bartering I had the manager and stocker both looking.

They are there people, happy hunting and Good luck! I wish I could be more help!

Note: as this was going on CharIJoe called and hooked me up. If there is one person who will always have your back its her.

CharIJoe were discussing the fact that we both separately have come across an alarming trend in Orlando. There seems to be a collector and or Scalper that is removing certain figures from two packs and five packs. It's sad to think that a collector would stoop so low as to steal a figure from the new five packs just to avoid buying the whole thing. Has anyone else seen this lately?

Never seen any figures removed from anything here. Granted, all I see is crap most of the time unless I get them straight out of the case. :)

Haven't seen any W6 and I think I've missed the opportunity for at least a while (I don't really go out and look that much since I preordered the W6 revision from BBTS.) I just wanted a duplicate Armored CC and Torpedo.

As far as the TRU exclusives.. The TRU in Melbourne is awful at stocking anything, so we just preorded them from TRU.com (which is only slightly less horrible.)

Down in Broward at TRU someone was buying the Old Cobra 5 packs and taking out the Cobra figure and replacing it with either a Legions Driver, or an old Night Watch (2005??) cobra figure then returning it for a full refund (there is still about 15 on the shelves and about 7 of them are like this). Though some of them are just missing the figure because it's easier to get to. Also I've seen alot of Comic Packs ripped open (mostly at wal-marts) for the doc stickers. That;s about the extent of it here, haven't seen many of the newer 5 packs around so I don't know if they're breaking into those yet.

Even though I don't like shopping from Toys R Us.. lateley I have been cruisin through the isles lookin.. & well I just got lucky.. I found 4x 5packs yesterday.. 2 ninja packs & 2 cobra night tooper packs.. Just in time too.. some dude came up like 5 minutes later & was like "yo, let me get one of those..." welll, after driving an hour to this Toys R Us I was not going to give em up..lol

Anyway.. so yeah, confirming that Miami has gotten them.. I now have 1 cobra trooper pack found in another Toys R Us.. & as I mentioned, just grabbed the other 5 packs yesterday from another Toys R Us..

That's 2 out of 3 Toys R Us's in my area.. unfortunately I have not been able to get to the others.. maybe today.. uh.. unless someone is reading this & beats me to it.. ;)

gulfster sorry I have'nt gotten back with ya yet, i think I would like the night camo cobra troopers but I have'nt seen them yet to know how good they look, I never go by pics on the internet i've missed out on stuff cause i've looked at pics on the net and said man that's ugly and seen it loose later on and thought wow that looks good. O by the way I can't remember the name for the cobra troopers so night camo it is, big brain interuption right now.
