I had a great time at the meet. Mutt7000, Swafus, Snow Cat, CharIJoe & myself were there. Everyone was great. I made some friends today, and hope the others feel the same. Maybe some of us can get together even in a non-Joe meetup capacity?

I think we should use a non-retail venue the next time we do a meetup. That way we can freely trade/sell to each other without stepping on anyone's toes.

I just returned from a visit to Ohio where I found Wave 9. Unfortunately, the "bend the crap out of cards so no collectors can buy it" Jerk-off follows me to Ohio as well. Unfortunately for him I found a case not yet opened. I purchased all the new line and put the Wild Bill & Tripwire on the peg hooks. This also gave me a great box to keep my figs safe on the plane.

Has anyone found any down here or do I need to hold some for ya if I see them? I did buy one of the bent up BATS so I could open him and have him use his blow torch on CPL Breaker's head!!!

Found the Wave 5 comic packs at the Target on Fruiteville Ave in Sarasota. Both Destro packs were already gone but and I left the 2 Falcon/Nemesis and CC/Tripwire packs since I already got mine from BBTS. It hit all the other local Targets and Walmarts and there wasn't anything else good to reports, just some DVD packs mostly.

I woke up and went comic pack shopping. Here's how it looked in Tampa this morning:
1. Target (Bruce B Downs)-No Comic packs but they had the new 12" SE, SS & Lt Torpedo. (I did score 2 Mutt Williams on Motorcycle IJ figs) They also had 2 2pk Shippy & Copperhead.
2. Wal Mart (BBDowns) - Nada
3. Target on Dale Mabry - They seemed picked through. They had all the new 12" but I think I missed their comic packs.
4. Wal Mart on Dale Mabry - Nothing
5. Target (Odessa) - Good find. I purchased 2 Snow Serpents and 2 Comic Packs (Nemesis/Falcon, CC/TW) but an employee must have gotten the Destro 2pks. and BATS.
6. Target (Lutz) - Nothing
7. Wal Mart - Trinity - Nothing new
8. Target (NPR) - Nothing good
9. Wal Mart - NPR - Nothing new
10 Toys R Us - New Tampa - They had one comic pack Lt Torpedo so their wave 9 were gone.

That's it... $30 in gas for 2 comic packs & 2 Snow Serpents (I now have 3).

Between the end of last week and today, targets and TRU's here in Jacksonville have been hit pretty good with Joe stuff.. I have found all Wave 5 comic packs. multiple black head destros.. numerous cases of wave 7 and 9 at targets and tru, just picked up 3 more bats at the Avenues TRU today at lunch. The dvd packs and vehicles are sitting on the shelf, some stores have more than others but they are there.

FYI... I purchased a Cobra Commander w/Tripwire on Sunday at the Target on 54. I left one behind (Let me know one of you Hiss Tankers got it). I'm not happy because I got home and did not realize the Tripwire pack has a small and almost insignificant ding in the bottom of the plastic. (not noticeable from the front).

The point is... I'll be looking for a replacement. I'm dying to open it... but may be willing to let it go too. Just an FYI... I'll wait to open for sure until I have a MOC one.

targets in tampa had wave 9 sets minus bats that someone grabbed. the one day i didnt get up early to check them they get stuff in. i have a feeling they both got comic packs but with all the people there this morning to pick up madden i feel they were gone by the time i got there at 930

Target in Oviedo had a few pieces of Wave 9 as of around 9:30 am today. Picked up Hawk and Bazooka. They had other pieces of Hawk, Ninja Ku. Didn't see much else. Their stock of compic packs was picked thru, though they did still have a Duke/ Red Star pack. They had a butt load of the DVD packs too, only 1 & 2 though.

I meant you in the general sense not you in particular. If you buy off of EBay or some of these online stores then yes, I suppose you do support scalpers. If you only buy from local stores or do without, like myself, then you don't.

I hope its not at a Target in our area... I went to almost every Target & WM from BBDOwns Blvd to Dale Mabry, Fletcher & in Odessa. They were all empty.

I saw a guy putting up freight at one of the Targets. He said to me:
"What joes are you looking for?" I said any new ones?
"No, nothing yet. But that's why I put up the freight. I'm always on the lookout for the new ones so I can put them away for my collection".

So I said... That explains why I can never find anything... and I left.

I was TOY HUNTING in Tampa today too. Got a Bat at WM on BBDowns Blvd. There was a Bazooka on the hook. I hid it behind the IJ Jungle Cutter Legos for any Tanker who wants it.

I am sorry to say that Miami is having a long time shortage of 25th anniversary figures. some arrive here and there but for the past 50 or so days there haven't been many arriving at the typical stores. I can only suggest that you call every target, TRU, Walmart, and Kmart in the area on a daily. get the sku's and try to sift through the incompetence on the other end of the line.
I believe that the Target on Kendall Drive has a bunch on the pegs still. wave 8 mainly. heres the number: 305.386.1244

I gave up long ago searching for Joe 25th, I realized that in a months span I just wasted a bunch of gas, time, and effort doing so. Target in Kendall drive, and Bird suck, All Toys R Us, International mall, us1 and Kendall drive only carry 2 packs of Crimson guards, and CObra Commanders/ Duke repaints. I honestly can't even remember when I last saw a single figure, even Buzzer for that matter. I have stuck to purchasing them online, be it eBay(just wait a month after they've been released, you'll pay alot less), Entertainmetnearth.com, or Bigbadtoystore.com pre-orders. forget about Miami stores, unless you want to find some vehicles at walmart every now and then, just make sure you're there at 3am.

I went hunting this morning at wal-mart and found 2 black head destros and picked up a nemesis/flacon 2 pack. The wal-mart at JYP and sandlake rd had pegs full of v5 2 packs.

As i walked around i saw another joe fan there picking up a gold destro up. We talked for a bit and talked about this site and he said he has been on here before lurking.

All the other places i checked was k-mart on OBT had vehicles and i found a single serpentor no 2 packs. Target on sandlake rd just past OBT had no 2 packs and some w9 1 bat left. I left it there. Wal-mart at turkey lake had w9 no bats no 2 packs. K-mart on turkey lake had nothing.

Finaly found wave 9 in gainesville fl, Found them early this morning at the archer road walmart. It was a pretty cool sight they must have had at least 3 or 4 cases worth. Someone beat me to the bats but left three snow serpents on the pegs for me.
