Tried the Doral WM and found a hidden Crimson HISS and it rang at $13! Then a passed by the International Mall TRU and found Scarlett.
Previously, i had only seen her at Walgreens, and i wasn't going to pay $12 for that. BTW, that TRU has 1 L&O and 1 Airtight on the shelves.

This will be the first MegaCon I've missed since the mid 90's when I started going. :'( Being unemployed I just can't justify the gas/tolls/parking/admission(totals over $100 for one day). The owner is awesome. I went there about a year ago and picked up done good stuff. Grabbed a gorgeous complete Whale, Skystriker, Tiger Paw, a few carded PoC figures (including the impossible to find at the time Shadow Tracker). It came out to just a bit over 200 bucks which was a really good deal. Dude was really cool. He actually had to leave before I got done buying but still gave me a Tanker discount. His buddy that was running the store was cool as hell too. He actually helped me carry everything across the street to my car. Really great place with cool toys and an awesome staff. Highly recommend that you go there if you're in the area.

My car gets 10 miles per, gallon man. Plus I use ethanol free 93 octane that runs 4.09 a gallon. Up and back from work is exactly 20 miles. So it costs me 8 bucks just to go back and forth to work. I use the wife's car when I hunt.

The Kendall WM has no new joes. It has the new Prime Transformers (really small for deluxes). No price anywhere and no Soundwaves, just Wheeljack, Cliffjumper, and Bumblebee.
Bought a Republic Attach Shuttle on clearance at Target for $24. $80 for it was insane. The cockpit's a little cramped, but it fits 2 figures. There's troop carrying space inside for approximately 4 or 5 figures. Despite the large wingspan, it's gonna look out of scale next to a Skystriker.

Everything is set up with special lanes, bridges, parking etc... for all the old bastards in their $20,000(no shit) Golf Carts. They have some that look like Model Ts, Batmobiles, all kinds of ridiculousness. And they almost always have the right of way in any scenario, as posted on signs all over the damn place. I swear I'm gonna put a cattle catcher on the front of my Element and just start cleaning up, lol

This is like a thing now, everyone is running out of room and selling off thier stuff. I ran into that wall like back in October, I refuse to put my stuff in storage so for like 3 months I had random vehicles and playsets just laying around, under the bed, in the kitchen ect..

I dropped $1400.00 this past week into remodelling my room, we remodelled the closset in our room to make more space for my wife's stuff, I added a couple more shelves and some new cabinets to our room set and now I can fit all my stuff away. Only problem is as soon as the Retaliation vehicles hit I know Im gonna want some. and my wife is already at her top with putting up with my toys.

I agree...The only figures I wanted was Roadblock,Destro and Zartan...The Alley Viper is okay, but that's it...In my opinion, the resolute bodies just aren't as good as the POC & 30th...I hate the legs on the Joes with those strange cuffed boots and usless holstered pistol...I think I'd rather have three excellent figures from the new line than 7 "okay" resolute figures...

I had a bit of feelings of regret after buying them too. Mostly because of the joes' legs. I hate that holster. Scarlett's head is huge! The SE is a good mold, but i already have different versions of it. I can't get Zartan to hold his rifle. I can't keep Storm Shadow's hood on (and now they're using that hood for some Retaliation figures). The Cobra set has 3 figures that can't sit! I like the AV, but not enough to try to army-build.
What i'm getting from Ross are those Tech Deck sets. Nothing more of interest there.

His work on the Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD series in the 60's inspired Larry Hama to create GI Joe: A Real American hero. He said he was so inspired by the silent opening to SHIELD #1 that he did his version of it in GI Joe #21, which we all know is "Silent Interlude".

My man, Junior (who normally sets up a table with Joes & Transformers) and another gentleman... The name escapes me but he was really awesome.

There were many more collectibles on hand than in previous shows. In the past everyone was pretty much comics. Now that it is two days it was much busier and had much more than the past. If you only collect Joes then I counted about 4-5 tables with GIJOE merchandise.

I imagine that as the word grows on the 2-day events and more guests get signed we will see even more excitement.

I hope to see some of you on Sunday. If you come by my table be sure to say HI (Middle section/side by the new video game demo area).

While looking for some more Zombie Troopers at WM today I noticed that some arsehole re-packer stole the figures from two of those superhero figure three packs and replaced them with old ass GI Joes. Unfortunately, I'm not into superhero stuff and I cant remember what line they were from or which figures they took.

The Joes they replaced them with were just flopping around inside, they didn't even bother to hide their scam. I wonder if these were the same jerks who did the big Viper re-pack a few months ago.TRW(

Got back today and hit the Coral Way Walmart, and I could not belive my eyes...They are finally stocking JOES, looks like they had been picked clean by the time I got there, cause I only saw a Scarlett and a Ripcord, and four empty GI JOE pegs, hopefuly they will re-stock. Better late than never.

Spied another Joe repack today at my neighborhood WM. Somebody switched out a Renegades Lifeline with a 25th Serpentor. The bubble was sealed with scotch tape, not the clear kind but the super obvious frosted variety. The tape had even started to come off and the bubble was lifting off the card.

This particular WM is the farking repack capitol of the county.

The TRU in Wesley Chapel had a Wave 4 set appear (finally stocked it now that the 1 box they got in for the "buy 2 get one free" bait and switch add is over.

While my continued miss of the elusive Cobra Zombie continues... I was able to pay way too much for Sci-Fi and Airtight and FINALLY got my first Techno-Viper all there at TRU.

Thank you to whomever is building an army of zombies for finally saying "I have enough Techno Vipers" and leaving one for the common folk who have better things to do than track down every store's delivery days to get to the supply before anyone else can get to it!

If anyone see's a Zombie and wants to stash it somewhere then message me I will be happy to go buy it.

Well its now about 3 months away and the only thing they have mentioned is the location and date.

Apparently the club put up on there Facebook thread to expect more in April. So, I've been told. I'm certain the Con is going to happen. Hasbro will make certain of it, this is a dedicated movie release party for them. I'm hoping FunPub learns from this and we can improve the club brand from here out.

Found a POC Snow Job at CVS in South Tampa on Manhattan , and a POC Storm Shadow and 2 Zombie Vipers from the Walgreens on Macdill and Gandy.

Overall decent finds today. They have a deal going on also at Walgreens where you buy 6 12 packs of Coke Products for $20 and get a $10 gift certificate. I used mine to get semi free figures.

As for those Retaliation figures, from what I've seen I have a feeling that I am not going to be buying much from that line. It would be kinda sad if PoC and 30th were the last of the line as far as collecting Joes.THD(
