3 payments may be doable. I know they're trying to shield themselves from unwanted(unwarranted?) criticism before the launch of this experiment, but pricing really needs to be available soon. Postponing it seems to only build negative swells that it will be more expensive than most think. If they came out and said "okay, it's going to be $30 a month(or even $40)" people would probably be more likely to to give the figures a second chance.

The latter 2 have already seen discounted prices from the club. Many of the convention sets are also still available from the club or on the secondary market for the same price they originally sold for. There are some exceptions to that, but I certainly wouldn't say "most" of their items go for increased values on the secondary market. Given the way the club has already handled this subscription offer, and the mediocre responses to many of the figures, I have no doubt there will be leftovers.

There are only a few I want so I'm not sure if I'll go for it and sell some off or just live with the fact that I may not get them.

So far I just want Nano Bat, Iron Klaw, Dice and Covergirl but they are on ME cards so more of them might appeal to me when I see them.

I'm hoping for a nice Big Boa and Slice. Plus I really want the Club's Footloose so I may have to at least sign up for the club.

Went to "Toy wiz", I think it's called inside Altamonte Mall because a fellow tanker said that there was World Peacekeepers ARH with Rocket Pods available in that store. They had a lot of World Peacekeepers - Black Hawks, Ninja Jeeps, the Russian APC and various play sets (nothing you can't find at Big Lots). And the only Joes they had were about 5 ROC Dreadnok Trikes and 1 ROC Ghost Hawk for $15 less 25% the lowest price. But on their website you can print out a 20% off coupon so I was able to get the Ghost Hawk for about $10.

Yep, i have one ARH that has no R's. He's next on my list to mod. It needs some weaponry and to be painted blue.
I saw those True Heroes space vehicles and i thought they looked cheap. The dropship disappointed me the most; it just does not look worth $40.

I, too have taken them to employees and managers only to have them say "thanks, we'll damage these out" and then they're back on the shelves an hour later. Saw 3 old JvC or VvV figs spray painted and returned to the WM on 19th in 30th packaging right when the first wave hit. I saw the packaging and got excited, only to look again and see old storm shadows and a heavy duty stuffed in 2 hazard viper and a stalker packages. Same story with the employees there, right back to the shelf. And they were barely even taped back on. Pisses me off because they won't trigger the restock if they just sit. I finally bought 2 of them and returned them to a walmart in homossassa that doesn't carry Joes, lol. Figured maybe it'd work out, trigger the restock in Ocala and maybe get Joes in the system in Homossassa. True, i hit Kendall WM this morning and Target this evening. Wm recently restocked with the wave 2 to capacity, so wave 3 ain't showing up there soon. Target still has the same figures (including ADs) stuck on those pegs. They're also stocked to capacity. Be sure i'll post about wave 3 once i spot it.

I've only been able to hunt locally, since finals are next week for FIU.

I hit Doral Walmart anyway since I started the holiday shopping and I didnt see anymore Wave 3 but I did see they had about 30 Crimson Hiss Tanks. They had them all stacked in the overstock area. I grabbed one, put one out in front of the Vamp and Black Dragons and left the rest on the overstock shelves.

Aint no thing bro, Im glad you got to them in time. I hit the same store this morning around 9:00 a.m. and they had those two and the one Ripcord I got. Looks like they did re-stock over night but someone beat me to Scarlet and the Cobra troopers.

The walmart in Westchester didnt have any pegs for joes which is odd cause they didnt have any The Corps either and I searched every inch of that store for them! wierd.

Reasons being twofold and obvious: I'm not bringing in hardly any $, and it costs gas to drive the 30 miles just to be disappointed or if I'm really lucky find a figure or two. Yeah those Bealls' prices are outrageous. Initially when I happened upon their 2011 holiday season toy stock, and saw all that Joe stuff I was like "holy ish" because it seemingly came out of nowhere. But, then I saw the prices...hahahaha. Even with their "discounts" it's exorbitant. What I find most amusing however is, their outlet has those very same ROC Alphas for a fraction of the price ($8.99 I believe). And by me, those two locales are separated, on the same highway no less, by maybe a mile. Just doesn't make much business sense for one retail company to simultaneously have the same merchandise in their outlet chain, at significant discounts, as their regular store counterpart, with huge mark-ups. Head-scratcher for sure.

I heard from a friend of a friend's third grade teacher's cousin's mistress that for you to find those figures, you had to camp out for a week at certain Walgreens (the location which, HASBRO will telepathically send you) and then be able to trade naked pictures of your wife or girlfriend or your first born.

I was able to camp out, but when the manager saw my ex-wife's naked pictures he started laughing so hard that he shit himself and told me to go home.

I got lucky and found one set and an extra Jungle Bat during a trip to Orlando. Never saw that wave up here at all. Friends in Gainesville reported the same thing at the TRU, two WMs and Target up there. I really wanted to army build some of the figs from this wave, especially Jungle Bat. So much awesome, two is NOT enough.

The Hawk figure is really disappointing and feels thrown together. Don't over-pay for one, because I fear you'd be upset with the resulting figure. I only keep mine because I like the gear when separated. The lame head choice is also a big factor in why I dislike it so much.

Went hunting this morning in the Sanford area. Nothing new to report on the GI Joe side. I saw an MU World War Hulk which I thought was awesome but at $8.50/figure I passed on it.

Also TRU is having a sale on the MOTU/DC two packs for $20. Which I thought was a good deal for this. The one in Sanford had Supergirl vs She-ra, Green Lantern vs Zodac, and Aquaman vs Mer-man. I like the GL vs Zodac 2-pack the best.

The TRU, Target and Walmart pegs were full of Renegades figures (Duke, Snake Eyes) wave. Did not see Crimson Tanks at the 3 stores.

I thought it was curious how Rise of Corba claimed to destroy the Joe's established backgrounds in the name of political corectness yet we never saw a hispanic character, no one from Spain, Italy or Germany ( a German tank commander would of been awsome!) and my biggest problem was no one from Africa! Okay FL tankers, I want to keep a running tab of who's found wave 3 and in what area. I've noticed they have been found in Georgia and Miami, but it seems like everyone in between is shit out of luck.

I've driven basically a 3 hour radius over the last week hitting nearly every Wal Mart along the way and didn't turn up a single wave 3 sighting, then my friends girlfriend goes to a Wal-Mart in Miami and finds him the whole wave minus Storm Shadow...typical.

So, if anyone stumbles across these things anywhere in FL please give a heads up so we'll at least know they are finally hitting our general area.

It's always like this in Florida. My Miami trips usually have the finds I want and the rest of the state has nothing. I do have 1 Walmart around Jax that I found wave 2 about a month before everywhere else came out and i plan on checking tomorrow so I'll post if anything. I wouldn't cry too much though, since wave 2 is all over the place I'm sure wave 3 including SS will be all over too.

If a store has a bunch of Joes for instance, even if they're all the same it just means that no new figures will be ordered until they sell almost out! How suck is that? This means when ever Hasbro kicks out a repaint or suckish figure that sits for months or even years it stops a store like Walmart from ordering more! Even worse alot of Walmarts gave up on carrying Joes after the ROC Movie line disaster!
I guess this rule doesn't apply to Star Wars for some reason but everyother line, oh yes your store will see on its sales charts that "well see here...the GI Joes sat around for a long time and we moved a bunch to clearence so next time we order lets cut out Joes because nobdy buys them". When Really it's just that 1 or 2 bad Joes sat in multiples because nobody wants the same figure over and over again in repaints or bad designs.

Found two of the SE body Steel Brigade figures at the Target in Lady Lake.
Also found new repaint wave of Marvel Universe, for anyone that collects those: Electro variant, Iron Fist variant, reissues of Spider Woman, Captain Marvel and some others(Steve Rogers). I only picked up the Electro and the Captain Marvel since I missed them the first time around.

Trust me, I know the feeling. I was basically running on gift cards from returns yesterday, lol. It's 30 miles for me. I needed a break from sitting at the computer alternately sending out applications and playing Mousehunt on facebook, lol.

It sounds like those of us that preordered Wave 4 should have them well before Christmas. SmallJoes lists them as likely arriving Monday, and I think Kokomo is the same. BBTS I guess has some in stock/pending shipment.

I got pissed and ripped them off the peg and threw them behind the skystrikers. It might work it might not but either way I feel better. Im sick of lazy ass department supervisors not re-ordering shit. When I used to work there I had to manually scan all low stock every 3rd day!

If the BBTS exclusives are 6-7 dollars each the club toys should be about the same, $10-12 max or they should try harder to make every fig in the subscription outstanding. At $10 people will still be paying $30-$50 for the figs they want. I just don't think there are that many people willing to pay $300 plus a subscription fee for 13 toys.

I just got a 1983 gi joe wood burning kit and the only pics on google images is the one from yojoe and the box for mine is a lot better, but with a few creases and edge wear. Does anyone know what a fair price for this thing is? and everything on the inside is mint and complete.

I am starting to feel the same way...I really only want 4 of the figures so I'm debating just buying them on EBAY. Jinx, Big Boa, Covergirl and Iron Klaw look pretty good to me but $300+ is not realistic for me to spend on those 4 but I suppose there is always the option of selling the others and trying to recoup most of your money.
It's a conundrum because I would love to support the idea of the figure sub. if it meant we could get the vintage characters that we haven't been able to receive yet but I have a strong disdain for the club and how they handle things so I hate the idea of leaving the success of this in their hands as well as the idea of everyone having to rely on them.

In the end, I suppose it's a moot point because it solely relies on the individual emphasis we all put on the characters being released and the funds we have at our disposal.

This past weekend I got to visit St. Petersburg to see my girlfriends parents, I got to go to two Walmarts which had zip. Oh but kick ass grocery sections!! I would love to have a grocery store in NYC like you guys have down here!!

The thing that gets me, is I would have been more than happy to preorder if we had any indication that wave 3 would be difficult to find at retail, but by all accounts wave 1 & 2 were both extremely easy to find, and wave 3 has some of the best figures of the 30th line, so naturally I figured it would be just as easy to find as the first two waves...

Don't waste any gas heading into Ocala proper. I just happened to be in town to have dinner with my brother and hit up the Wal-Mart on 19th where I found wave 3, nothing new AT ALL. Then popped into TRU where unless I wanted old MU figs I was out of luck.

That's one reason I am glad I don't live in FL anymore. I lived in Daytona Beach area during the VvV days. TRU got stuff in once and if you missed it to another collector you were out of luck. Doesn't sound like much has changed.

Miramar WM was a bust today. The pegs are too full with Renegades figures so I wonder if they'll be stocking new stuff anytime soon.

Also in case anyone is interested in some fodder, TJ Maxx in Davie had multiple pegs filled with latter waves of ROC figures including The Doctor, PP SE, and City Strike/Resolute SE. Also Charbroil and Night Adder? I think was the name. 3.99 each.

Don't waste any gas heading into Ocala proper. I just happened to be in town to have dinner with my brother and hit up the Wal-Mart on 19th where I found wave 3, nothing new AT ALL. I kid, I kidLol! Well it's not all bad. There is a box from BBTS containing wave 4 and another box with a wave 3 Techno-Viper stashed somewhere. They are for Christmas so it is hands-off until then. I think I get more toys for Christmas now than I did when I was a kid!:D

Woke up to an email from a 'tanker buddy telling me that Wave 3 was in Pasco, the neighboring county. So I took a ride over to a few Wal-Marts and finally scored at the Park Blvd Wal-Mart. Picked up a few Zombie Vipers & an extra Scarlett and left a Lifeline and Airtight on the pegs for the next lucky person. (My Wave 4 shipment should be here tomorrow, so I didn't want to get extras of those 2)

Funny, these days I see a lot of Hydra troopers in the 3" Cap line. 3 months ago when I wanted to army build them, I never found a single one. Now i see one or two in every store I visit... of course, now that I am NO longer interested in getting them at all.

I simply grabbed them and stashed them behind the skystrikers. 3 days later they had re-stocked with wave 2. I picked up 5 viper and 3 troopers. (so its not like its hurting thier pocket either).

Now I say we do the same at walmart. Doral has had the same figures peg-warming for 4 weeks now. I say we take a bunch and stash them. Since its christmas time the supervisors are pushing to have all the pegs full. So if we mow it down some they will be forced to re-stock with wave 3 and maybe even 4. So im on my way to Doral right now to stimulate thier stockrooms. I hope the rest of the 305th will back me up some.

It seems like most stores have been getting a case of Cap and a case of Thor simultaneously. They are rather plentiful up here. The Lord of Asgard Thor is pretty nice, but I had painted my original version from the ML line almost exactly the same, so it's a pass for me. The Loki is a disappointment, and the Movie Thor couldn't have less expression on his face. Looks like me after about 4 double whiskey and gingers.
