OK, so who cleared out all 3 Targets in Sarasota and the 1 In Venice? I found a lousy Storm Shadow at two of the 3 Targets in Sarasota, and Nada in Venice... Who are you??? Person who is one step ahead of me? Did get a few of the new Star Wars Figs and a Marvel non variant Archangel in the process of Joe hunting though.

It is going to eat the last of my blank discs I have so I will have to ask for a modest fee for a set so I can go get more discs. Say 10 bucks? I assure you the quality is far better than what you normally expect from a bootleg so they are worth that.

And I am bringing some stuff to trade or sell. Nothing really special but I am not looking for much. I do have some sealed Viper Pit packs, a case actually. Also have some Night Force vehicle parts, a couple of carded RoC figures, some other various loose figures, and a Transformers Classics Powerglide I really need to find a new home for.

When was it and where? I went to one back earlier this year in Largo and they had a lot of toys. Not much GI Joe wise mind you, but I scored some cool non-GI Joe stuff.
I won the costume contest and got $50 in Convention money!

No, but at least it wasn't a total loss. I ended up with more money than I got their with because I sold some stuff. I also went down to the Tyrone Blvd TRU and picked up a PoC Spirit. It was their last one and only 2 Quick Kicks left.

Supposedly, the promoter who moved this from Tampa to St Pete who wants to "keep it small" is passing the torch to two new promoters next go-round. They will supposedly look at moving it back to Tampa for the next show in November. It was not bad in Tampa. There were actually quite a lot of toy sales going on along with the comics. I say the next one may be much better. I may get a table and BLOW OUT my collection. I have WAY too much and want to minimalize my life.

Ocala Target just had SS but had a decent supply of Ghost Hawks and Doom Cycles. Ocala TRU had an AV which I took, a BH which I took,another BH, two Dukes and SJ. Also a CC which I left. They had some Alpha and Beta vehicles as well but no exclusive figures.

TRU in Wesley Chapel had Spirit and Quick Kick, 3 left of each after I got mine, Beachead there was 2 and a Firefly plus the others. No CC. Also got my Alley Viper finally. That was as of 10:30 this morning. (just got home from work a short time ago so don't go yelling at me as to why it took so long to post this :) )

I picked up an extra QK and Spirit today at the TRU in NPR since I opened my others. I hope that these stores start to restock in plenty because I am tired of waiting to buy my "openers" for POC. I didn't want to be greedy, so I left most of them whenever I would find them for others to get a chance but next time they hit, I will be getting one of each to open...these figures are bad ass!

For those that don't know, Transformers are my main vice and I have between 3,500 and 4,000 pieces. For Joe, I was mainly interested in the 25th Anniversary line and haven't really been following the ROC & POC lines, so I haven't kept up on the sightings since the Cobra Island 7 packs hit Ross. I had recently stopped in to Hisstank to see what was going on with Sgt. Slaughter and have been reading the FL sightings on and off. When I saw a group was going to Tampa con, I posted some info for those who had never been there before. Like I said in my other post, I was a dealer at this last show and will be one in November.

I am sure I'll pop in once in a while to say hey, but I probably won't be hunting for any Joe stuff for a while unless Hasbro does some 80s homages within the POC line. Luckily, I was able to get one version of the sarge and now my primary Joe focus is in completing my Flagg. That being said, I will probably hit the Joe con one day in Orlando next year just to see one for myself.

So yeah, I'm around, but not keeping up to the level that many of you guys are with the current lines. However, I will be watching to see if there is something hot that all my neighboring fans are looking for and holding them at cost for those that can't find a item for their collection.

Seriously, this is awesome that the convention is going to be in Orlando. No flight expenses, no rental car, no taxis. I saw the joe mechs but no figures at a walmart in kendall. The planogram was out and called for 3 pegs of "GIJOE MOVIE FIG." But yeah no POC at any Walmart ive been to. Also Kmart seems to not be carrying POC at all!?!?!?!

To those in the Pinellas area, I found a new case of TRU exclusives at the TRU on Tyrone on Saturday morning. Sent FireFox91 there on Sunday and they had only 1 of each left. So in a day they sold about 6 of each. That seems pretty good. Funny thing is they had no other Pursuit figures, just the exclusives.

Toys R Us on Blanding Blvd has the exclusives as well as HISS and Snow Cats.

As far as single figures, pretty much any Target you find should be a safe bet.

I'm a Star Wars fan but I just couldn't justify the cost of going. I also heard it is rediculously crowded with really long lines. Pass on all that. If there is one thing JoeCon really has going for it, it is that is a big convention with a small convention feel. No unusually long waits in line except for registration. No sea of people to fight past. Always a seat to be had in the seminars.

Nada! No new MUs at either TRU or Wally World. Some Targets have the wave 8 figs. However, it is very hard to find an Archangel and Havok.

I haven't been to TRU for about a week but I got my Grimlock from TRU.com yesterday. Someone on Seibertron.com posted a promo code to get it for $60 shipped. It is $69.99 + tax in the stores. I still haven't opened it but from what I did see, it is awesome. I love getting the Masterpeice items without having to pay the prices for the Japanese imports.

Dude I spent yesterday evening runing around town with fellow tanker Zrblnk looking for alley viper and firefly, hit Targets, Trus, Walmart and nothing. 4 stores in 2 hours and nada! In this past week alone I've driven 60 miles plus, spend about 8 hours and hit 10 stores looking for em and nothing.

But hey I found some today so I guess the hunt payed off somewhat.

Walmart in hialeah has $2.00 Roc figures The ones with blue camo pants: Shipwreck, Breaker, Scarlet, Cover Girl, Sgt. Stone, deep six (yay $2.00 Fumbles), Duke, and in normal or robo gear helix, Heavy Duty, Duke And that guy from In Living Color. I think there were about 6 rows (Bottom to top rack) all full of them. Me and Zrblnk have been wanting to go do this for a while now but between sneeking away from the wives and finding a place to do this in this ginourmeously overpopulated city is a pain in the arse! Every spot we check out is like cop infested, all the good fields to pay and play are like 2 hour drives away and we know there are local crews who play cause we sees them at the shops every saturday after a game.

Woo hoo bitches found freakin 10 Jungle Vipers today!!!

I grabbed 4 but left one at each Target I went to. Picked up 3 Recondos and another set of W1 minus Snow Job.

One of the Recondos was partially torn open but nothing was missing so I grabbed it anyway.

I picked up some extras in case any of you locals can't find em and would like to trade.

I went to a target in Miami today (kendall and 152) and noticed the peg skus are for ROC. the guy helping me said he'd be able to check if they got them, when they will get them or if any other target has em but needs the sku for POC.

ok so here's a tip for jungle viper seekers. Just left Target in Clearwater Mall (Gulf to Bay and 19). They had 2 fresh cases out. I grabbed 2 JV. I left 2 JV, 2 Recondos and the rest of the group. I put the JVs and Recondos right on the front pegs so get them while you can.
