For all you Central Florida folks still on the hunt, here is an update:

In the past 2 days I've hit 13 Targets all over the Orlando area and there is very little left. About the only thing still hanging on the clearance endcaps are scarlett/hawk and scrap iron/wb comic packs at $3.22. there are a few singles out there at $1.74 but it's mostly wild bill, jetpack duke and cobra commander. I've passed on a few dvd packs (weather dominator) for $4.98. There's a ton of Duke mighty muggs still out there for $2.74 and the Florida Mall Target has about 12 Storm Shadow mighty muggs left. There are NO vehicles of any kind left at any of those stores so save your gas.

The lady working in toys at Target was bringing them out like one at a time talking about her son collecting Joes. I saw and passed on Hawk. I did not see Helix or Flash or Pit Commando.

Ugh...I was at the Super Target off 60 in Clearwater the night before all the planes were marked 75% off and they had a Rattler and 2 Conquests but I wanted to see if they would get marked down again since all the ROC stuff hit so I left them there. Literally the next day the friggin markdown happens! So I go back today to hopefully purchase them and...THEY`RE GONE DAMN IT!!! I am so pissed at myself, I wanted them bad since they came out but I couldn`t afford them since I had been out of work from November till yesterday(which was the reason I didn`t go back to pick them up yesterday...a 6 hour interview!). Were any of you lucky dogs the ones to pick them up? If so, I hope you`re happy with my little plastic dreams in your hands!!! lol

If anyone sees 1 of each, please pick them up for me. I have the $15 set aside for some kind soul.

I scored some MOTU, and some vintage Joes, also picked up some ROC cobra figs from Targets, and some clearance Joe stuff, 4 Mighty Muggs $2.50 each, DVD pack, $4.98 and a Jet for $6.50..

Is it a lack of interest in ROC merchandise, a loss of interest due to the poor distribution of the 25th line (which I definitely experienced myself) or a result of a tough economy that doesn`t allow for "extras" in the budget? Are any of you guys lurking still and just not commenting?

I used to live in orlando where there are a plethora of walmarts, targets, and toys r uses, so i could hit massive amounts of stores.

i moved to New Smyrna and I have signifigantly less places to hit,
and for some reason, the stores around here get stuff late,

for example, when the 25th line hit, the daytona area walmartsstores didnt even get shelf space untill several months after they had already been in orlando area. currently thats happening now with Marvel 3 and 3/4 figures, not even peg space yet.

Actually, Pyro, I havent been to Deland in awhile, does yoour walmart carry them yet? I know Mutts does, so theoretically yours might too.

My Targets are alright, but theres only two that are reasonably close. (Yes, I know that theoretically, the sanford ones and the palm coast ones are there to the north and south, but if im not heading that direction its not)

Orlando, just had quite a bit of stores that could be hit while running errands and such.

and I know we must have lurkers in Daytona that check sightings, because back in the day if i posted that there was stuff it would be gone the next morning. So hello to you boys, I know your out there.

just not much going on in FL, lousy distribution, and the ROC line is alright... it's not going to win any awards, though it's better than 90% of the other junk out there. I have been enjoying th TF ROTF toys alot lately, another reason why i think some people arent as psyced up for the joe line. here in sarasota one of our oldest Kmarts closed, the other ones are the the lousy part of town and we have two walmarts who stock things once every 2000 light years, some decent targets though.

I am here but i never really see much to report on so...well with the exception or ROC, here in Clermont there is lots and lots of ROC. I however am not interested in any of the stuff out now save for maybe a Steel Crusher sans that dumb driver and maybe an Ice Viper for at the bare minimum the vintage looking Ski-Pedo he comes with. So if you need ROC come to Clermont where it rots with the pegs.

Besides i have been way more into DCUC, DCSH, MOTUC and MU as of late...anyone have any DC for trade?

Well, I just bought a house so I am currently "house poor", plus given the fact that I'm on summer vacation and start 2 college courses next week that will take me through the rest of the summer I don't have much money to spend on the ROC line...plus I'm only sold on a few of the figures and at 7.99 each it's hard to justify it.

As for the SFL members, Outsider is right...there's only a few of us on here (mostly lurking) regularly but there isn't alot of new stuff going on to post about.

University Target had a PIT Mobile Command yesterday...and a bunch of figs (maybe 8-10 cases)...no Helix or PIT Commando though...

Pegs were FULL of ROC - I would have expected the Snake-eyes and Storm Shadow figs to be gone for sure, but there were plenty.

I resisted the urge to buy SE & SS - being an old timer ninja-freak-wannabe when I was kid in the 80s. I mean who wasn't back then? That's REALLY why SE & SS are the most popular Joes - we were inundated with ninja movies back then! On Halloween half the kids in my class dressed up like Ninjas with plastic swords. I also remember stupid debates as to whether a Ninja could kill Jason Voorhees (Friday, 13th). I actually saw a couple of ninja movies recently after 25 years (Revenge of the Ninja, American Ninja) - damn those movies sucked - I can't believe I actually thought they were GOOD when I was younger.

You truly appreciate the SE/SS relationship if you had the privilege of reading the Marvel GI JOE comic book back then - if you didn't, oh man, have you missed out. Who could forget classics that gave us the very first "peek" into SE's link to SS in the now famous "Silent Interlude" issue of GI JOE #21 (G.I. Joe Comic Book Archive (http://www.yojoe.com/comics/joe/joe21.shtml)) from back in 1984 (which I have BTW). I'll never forget my shock when the last page showed that SE and SS had the SAME "ninja-clan" tattoo... I remember saying to myself - WHAT THE!?! Although the TOYS had been out, Hasbro never said nothing about this - it was the comic book that told us their story. And also another one not to miss - GI JOE #26 & #27 - the origins of SE AND SS (G.I. Joe Comic Book Archive (http://www.yojoe.com/comics/joe/joe26.shtml)). What classics. Tells the tale for the first time of their meeting during the Vietnam war and later of their training in Japan at SS's family ninja-camp. Also tells us why SE doesn't speak... I wont tell. Well, enough reminiscing - been many months since I last posted, mostly because its been DEAD since that last 25th wave that had me scramblin' for resolute Cobra Commander.

I think it is worthy. But it is up for you to decide. Here are some random thoughts. It is in FL, only an hour's drive. Bring extra Joe stuff to trade (expand your collection) or sell (make cash). It is the first and only GI Joe Movie event like it that I know of. Sharing the movie experience with like-minded Joe friends is awesome, print the coupon for a free item (figure, or comic), TRU - the world's biggest toy store is representing, and possibly Game Stop will be there too for free G.I. Joe video game demo's, ...Finally, besides your movie ticket, the actual event is FREE.
BTW: Add me and Nathan to the roll call list.

Saw them once at the Sanford Wal-mart during release day. Did not have the funds for them so I passed on Helix, Hawk, Pitt Commando and Flash. Hate myself to this day for doing that.

My local TRU had the big front Joe display up last night, but had NO restocks.
Ughh. Ahh, well...I shouldn't be buying any more Joes at the moment anyways, but if they've had a Dr. Lewis figure and Sgt. Stone I would've been all over that! :D

Instead they had like 7 camo Heavy Dutys, a couple Cobra Commanders, Barbeques, and a slew of Snake Eyes. Disappointing.

Hopefully there is some kind of restock before Sat., otherwise the TRU sale has been a bit of a bust for me.

Yeah. The TRU sale did not have a lot of variety. All I was able to do is repurchase some and return the higher priced ones to target. That's what they get for not price-matching.

There was no wave 3 or baroness at TRU. What a great event it would have been if their buyers had coordinated wave 3 cases to hit every store for the sale.

I never got an ad to take to Wal Mart and get 2 figs for $5 so I can get my baroness figure already.

Believe it or not, there's this ghetto Wal-Mart in my neck of the woods that had all ROC figures marked at $5 each a few days ago. Which was great if you wanted Destro, Snake Eyes and Desert Duke.

Anybody find anything interesting at TRU? I am in Indiana right now and I went to a TRU in Indianapolis and there was nothing special. I picked up 10 figures (Firefly, Barbecue, PP SE, PP SS, Rip Cord, Reactive Armor HD, Destro, Zartan, Deep Six, and Ice Viper <-I think the best looking figure in the bunch).

Has anybody thought about doing a female squad? I was thinking of getting about 4 more "black suit Scarlett" figures and doing a head swap with Cover Girl, Baroness and blue suit Scarlett to make a 4-man (sorry, 4-woman) squad.

Scored a Dragonhawk today at my St. Pete Target! It's really awesome and the Resolute styled Wild Bill is fantastic.

It was the only one, though, but the news is that they're definitely out there.

Well...today we hit 13 stores and all I picked up was both versions of HD simply because I wanted to take advantage of the last day of the TRU sale. Out of 3 TRU, 3 WM, 4 Targets, KM, Marshalls and Ross I saw no wave 3 or anything new. I spotted 1 gray Timber and 2 CC with no holes but I am not really into variant chasing so I left them for someone else. Hopefully with W3 popping up in St.Pete we will all start to see them pretty soon.

Almost forgot to mention this...when we went to the Super Target on SR 54 and the Suncoast tonight there were 6 Scarlett figures in the blue camo that had been decapitated. Someone had literally cut the packages open and removed the heads of each figure. There was also a HD in the Green Camo that was missing but his guns were still left in the package. I grabbed em all and handed them to an employee. He said he was going to give them to security and to have them review the recorded history to hopefully catch whomever was responsible(I hope they do). Thought it was kinda weird so I figured I`d share.

They had restocked with Movie toys.
I did not find Helix, Pit commando, Red vipers, Flash, Blowtorch, SE w/Timber, PP Baroness, PP SE
They had plenty of other figs, probably 100 or so on the pegs in three different areas. Two endcaps and one big one in the Action figure Isle.
I picked up 6 figures: Duke (desert gear), Scarlett in armor (long hair), Scarlett in Urban BDU's w/pony tail, Cover girl in Urban Camo, General Hawk, Sgt. Stone
I passed on Baroness and Destro, due to ordering them from TRU online 2 for 9.99 they should be here this week.
They had some 12" figures that were cool also, Cobra Commander and Viper $14.99 each, I passed, but was tempted. I figured some kid would enjoy these more than me.
Vehicles were slim pickens, perhaps people bought those over the weekend.

That's the very Target where I got most of the Helix wave as well as the Dragonhawk. For some reason that seems to be THE Target for Joes right now in our area. It's weird, for a long time that Target was the last one I'd check out for new toys. I'm glad that seems to have changed.

I went to the Kendall and Dadeland stores yesterday and I found nothing...I even got into an accident, searching for this damn Rex Wave

I dropped about $150 today and the only thing I am intending to keep is the Rhino(which I got for 10% off of the sale price thanks to my lady)...everything else was fodder...and helped me get $50 in Gift cards at TRU.

All the Dirt-marts around here are stocking tons of Joes tonight but every case I saw was all the same stuff that came out originally. I opened five different asst cases and none of the Rex wave, heck...I didn't even find a case of W3 to open. I picked up some more W3 today and I have noticed a couple of things as well; there are no longer any black PP SE in the area (only gray seems to be coming in now) and the Crimson Viper seems to be the scarcest of W3...I have seen about six Helix figures, at least 2 of everyone else in the last 24 hours and only found 1 Crimson Viper.

Also saw the Crimson Hydra at Target on 60 Gulf to Bay but no Dragonhawk

I agree, it's funny to hear their explanations and retorts when ever they are called out on what they do. Rather than excepting that they are in the wrong they start preaching capitalism (aka:greed)and that if you don't like you should move to a different country.

I agree, I don't understand how the buyers for these large corporations aren't required to be up to speed with what their consumers are looking for. I think Dirt-mart really dropped the ball by waiting so long to release the ROC merchandise, they will be sitting on quite a bit of product which they will then attribute to the line not selling(instead of taking responsibility for their ignorance).

been to 2 walmarts ion the deltona area who had their plan o gram pages up to show what goes where as well as one that had the pegs and lables set but none of these are showing pegs or spots for the 2 packs yet. so either they will be a minor revision, endcap, crammed in somewhere, or isle type pallet thing

Wouldn't you know, there was a case in the back. He asked her to go get it for me and she reluctantly asked me which figure I wanted because she couldn't bring out the case(why, I don't understand because there were plenty of empty pegs!). I told her that I was looking for an entire wave of figures and would buy one of each if it was the right case...and it was(sweeeeet!).

Does anyone know if Rex with the White lab coat has come out yet or Arctic SS without his mask? I didn't see either of them and she opened the case in front of me.

Those 2 figs come later maybe wave 4, Some of my fellow TRU employees are either lazy or are tired of collectors...and or the scalpers that come in and make us look for one specific character or call everyday!! It does get kind of annoying,but being a collector i know your pain!!! P.S I would never do that to a Tanker!!!

Toys R US in Hialeah has Rex wave don't go to the big display in the front go to the regular Joe display in the back with the other action figures, picked up Paris Pursuit Baroness, they had like 5 of those, Black Para Vipers they had al least 6 of those, Delta 6 Accelerator Duke 4-5 of those, there was also al least 6 Rex in Black coat and Arctic Snake Eyes and Reactive Armor Rip Cord.

So go and get them before they disapear.
