Good DS Games?

I'm looking for good DS games. I like action adventure the best. I had all of the Castlevania games and New Super Mario Bros and Yoshi Islands and then my little girl lost all of my games and the DS. I just recently bought a 3DS and plan on getting some of the upcoming 3 DS games. Other than Zelda the current games look like crap.

Any old DS games I should pick up used for cheap? Are the assasian creed games any good? How about that old Metroid game?
