Now this is only rumored, but I was told at sdcc by one of the "employees" not naming names but that they were to do statues, dioramas, and even....gasp PROPS!
probably even PF's, and 1:1 head busts. The employee said "why wouldn't we take full advantage of the license?"

So expect to see something probably soon after the first few figures are released.
Oh man I am excited about this!!

I love the Joe statues/bust I have, but with Sideshow's quality it can't be beat!!!!

I'd be interested to see what props they would do since most of the Joe equipment just looks like modern military weaponry.

Outside of that, the 12" line is pricey enough so I don't think I could buy any of that other stuff even if I wanted to.

Although a life sized Destro mask might be pretty cool.

I went to the Sideshow Panel and since they obtained the rights to do Hasbro products, they'll get a feel for what the market is like with the 12" line and if all goes well, they'll jump into some other formats. They were asked if they may do some Transformer related stuff and it is well within the "realm of possibility".

well especially since their SE and CC exclusives sold out pretty quick, and soon the regulars will follow suit, I don't doubt the line is up to their expectations.

I am pretty positive they have stuff already in the works, be it prototypes or concept art they have SOMETHING

If you haven't, check out the G.I. Joe Inside Look video on the Sideshow website? They had pics of a possible Cobra Trooper.

At the panel, they mentioned that they had to come up with a top 10 list of figures to present Hasbro, so of course they have a line up already set. I'm sure they'll come out with another figure in the next months. They may stick with some hooded/masked figures until they can come up with a way of picking the right faces to go with. They won't go straight cartoon but a mixture of the updated comic book looks and weapons that are currently out for military use.

definitely I believe their license is only for the 80's etc property. They will probably go with another company to do cheapier statues...which sigh I will still buy :(
