I mean the clone wars is sub-par at best. I refuse to bare witness to a sucky movie of this magnitude.

I'm a huge SW fan, as big as can be, and yet I had no real interest in this "movie." I figured it's not much more than a really long trailer to advertise the upcoming show on Cartoon Network. Nevermind the fact that we've seen a really great version of the Clone Wars already and now that the story is over, why re-tread the same old ground?
But my five year old, who prefers Princesses and bugs to Star Wars and lightsabers is excited by it. She wants to go see "Baby Jabba" which means I might finally get her enthused about Star Wars beyond messing up my action figure displays. If it does that, then I'll be happy.

Last I heard, it IS the upcoming show on Cartoon Network (Like the first few episodes put together)
I agree though that, we've seen this story already and now it's got new characters that I don't remember in there....heck, I think some of the characters don't even make it to the real movies! But it's given me a few new toys so I'm not complaining too much :)

What, did he order that Flux Capacitor from Diamond Previews? Man, I knew I should have gotten that when I had the chance.

I've been asking that same question to all of the wonderful people on this board with the gift of foresight, that have spent countless hours contributing threads/posts to how bad the G.I. Joe movie IS/and WILL suck.

There there Sys it's just a matter of opinion and not fact. Remember it's just words.
Someone in Hollywood said yes that's an idea that will make money (or hopes to make money) and kudos to you for waiting to make judgement on the final product.
It's like X-men, over on Asteriod X, people were running the movie down because of the released images, the costumes, and the characters in the film, and it hadn't even hit theaters. Notice that there were less haters when you heard *SNIKT* for the first time, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen's portrayals were almost flawless and people concurred that brightly colored spandex just wouldn't be believable. I mean seriously look at the Photo Parades of Comic Conventions.

It'll always be a matter of opinion now and after the movie is released. You'll have people on both sides of the fence, that isn't going to change. My post was meant to take a shot, not to be taken literal. Believe me i don't get worked up over this stuff, but i do like to chime in.

Spider Man Worked and that was colored Spandex......and for the record not all the X Mens spandex is "Bright".......Wolverine was in a Dark Tan costume for the most if not all of the 80s........it can work if done right..........I never thought the Biker Uniforms looked good and still dont..........but some people go for that thing...........
