I picked up my Cobra Legions 5-pack yesterday at Wal-Mart Bensalem. Last one, I did notice that they had a revision of the GI Joe 5-pack that had the figures repositioned.

I found a bunch of waves 1,2 and 3 in the Toys "R" Us across from the Granite Run Mall in Media(I think its considered Media) PA. It is the first time I have seen anything there besides the 5-packs. Up until a few days ago, they still had the old comic packs in that spot. I picked up Stalker, Firefly, and Shipwreck, and left a bunch of troopers, red ninjas, Zartan's, and the one Flint that was there.Oh, and plenty of Buzzer's still left. No sign of the new comic packs, or waves 4 or 5 yet.

The Target in South Philly had some of the wave 4 Joes in. Duke and Destro were the only ones i saw as I passed by. Didn't look because I all ready have the Joe and Cobra 5 packs with these figures. They also have 10 to 12 wave 1 comoic packs still in. On a side note I spoke to someone at the K-Mart down here and was told they should get Joes in in two weeks. Hopefully in time for wave 6 and wave 3 comics.

Target in Royersford just restocked and they're almost empty. For some reason they only had wave 3 (Stalker, Serpentor, Buzzer). Is that wave 3? Anyway, they also had 4 Troopers and 2 Officers so I bought them all in case I ever need trade bait. Or so I can just have a larger army. >:-)

I work in Burlington NJ and live in Pennsauken and I STILL haven't seen a comic pack past series one. My TRU is getting the refresher case 2 at a time with a diaper crotch Stalker in one and improved crotch in the other ? Happened three times now, pretty odd. On a side note, it was the first time I didn't feel like some creep asking a question about when they get shipments, he was pretty cool, saying they ship when they need to be restocked, so the more we buy, the more they send with each shipment(or something like that) obviously right, but this time he actually encouraged buying of whole cases, wow, they actually are happy when stuff gets snapped up........with this being said, I only generaly buy one of each that I like, and later on I pick up extras if I have any custom ideas.

i had a VA appointment this morning in Washington, PA, so I thought since I'm out there, I'll hit Wal-Mart, Target and Toys'R'Us. Wal-Mart had the Destro/Breaker and Dreadnok CP's I've been looking for, and I picked up and additional Ace/WW CP - there were three SE/SS CP's left there. Only two figures - Duke and Buzzer. At Target, I picked up Torpedo and Rock'n'Roll, plus an additional Cobra Troop. They had a couple more figures. And at TRU, I picked up a Cobra Officer. There were a few figures and CP's, plus a Legions 5-pack left there. Very good haul for myself. All I'm missing now are IG Destro and Armored CC.

Kb shipping, when needed to be re-stocked, is not always true.If the warehouse has it, then they "might" get more...pending on whats sold.
Also, of course they encourage you to buy the whole case...kb wants and needs sales...they would sell you 5 cases if they had them to sell.Kb does not limit any kind of purchase of any sort (very rarely, they'll limited some purchases)

I picked up a Sigma 6 Snake Eyes Jungle Commando for $14.99 just for the dvd. First encounter with Sigma 6 and it was decent. No RAH.....but could have been worse. This figure came from the Camp Hill, TRU.

I recently picked wave 7 figures Snake-Eyes, Flag Duke, 2 Vipers, Hiss Driver, and Wild Bill. They had about 2 cases of wave 7, and some older ones like Lady Jaye, Scarlett, Airbourne Elite Trooper, and Cobra Trooper.

Oddly enough though, they were not on a peg, they were stacked on a shelf behind the regular action figure aisle (More near where the Lego stuff is shelved.)

The usual spot where the Joes are kept had been taken down and Indiana Jones figures and Iron Man had taken the space.

And also, they did not have any Wave 7 Spirit figures. Which I thought was odd because they nearly had 2 of everyone else, 4 of the figures that come 2 to a case.

Which means since there are 2 spirits in the case, someone purchased just 2 Spirits and basically left everything else.

I picked up the wave, now I only need Spirit.

You guys need to be at the stores when the doors open.... most places are only getting one case, which is 8 figures. That means one, maybe two, of each figure at the most.

I know from reports on other boards that most Wal-Marts and Targets in Montco received Wave 7 on at least 2 occasions. For example, the new super center Wal Mart in Willow grove had wave 7 on Wed and Fri, the Wal Mart in Hilltown had wave 7 2 weeks agom, and this Thursday.

The new waves go very quick and most people buy what they see to make full sets. None of us can expect to find these at 4 in the afternoon anymore! Sucks.

This is why I order cases from wholesalers.

They also cannot keep people employed there, from what I have heard, from the video game counter guy. Which means Product getting to the sales floor is even slower because they are under staffed.

P.S- Big shout out to my girlfriend for picking up most of wave 7 for me, sans SPIRIT, of course. But got 2 vipers.

P.P.S-And yeah, she thinks I am weird for taking inventory on my little notepad, of which stores have what, and making her carry a list in her purse of what I don't have/need for my collection.

P.P.P.S- I make my parents carry a list of what I don't have/need also.

There were still a few single cards at both places, with some wave 7 Snake Eyes and Viper. Walmart still has an abundance of wave 1-3 comic 2-packs. TRU hasn't had anything new since wave 6.

Attention Pennsylvania Joe collectors...I wish to start a thread of all of those in or around the Pittsburgh area whom wish to start keeping an eye out for each others want or needs. Simply put, if you are interested, PM me or respond to this thread and we can create a local group who can shop or look for for fellow tankers when you are out. If you see a joe that someone needs, purchase it for them and then arrange a mutual meeting spot to exchange the goods. It would even be reasonable to add a finders fee (say a buck or two) if you guys feel like that would help. None the less, we watch each others back, get our product, and save our selves ant extra aggravation while doing so.

Sorry guys, Im not a scalper I just collect them. There were only 8 or nine figures there so I grabbed them. Some are for my friends. I thought this forum was for that very reason. I look in the Philly area a few times a week looking to complete my collection. Wave 8 has been very hard to find so when I saw them, I took them.

I might have jumped to conclusions. I thought you bought 4 cases worth. I just am sick of scalpers buying up every thing for a profit. Sorry if I came off like a dick. Welcome to hisstank by the way.

that's fine, it's just when I was there they had a lot of figures and you said you bought them all, it just sounded like you got a couple of cases, you know, to sell (like a scalper) :)

Kmart in Cannonsburg area had a couple of Crimson Guard. TRU in Washington has a bunch of wave 6 reissues (unfortunatley, no Firefly or Zartan), Ranking Officer packs, and 2 Cobra Legion 5 packs (for $29!). And everywhere around here has buttloads of wave 1-3 comic packs. Why aren't these going on clearance to make room for new?

I am up in Northeast PA, the Scranton area, if anyone else is up this way. I usually get figure preorders quicker than they show in stores, but I do get out once a week to every other week to see what's on the shelves of the major stores. Twice though waves have hit TRU and Target faster than they ship online.

FYE on Broad and Chestnut in Center City Philly has a bunch of wave 7. At $9.99 it's a little pricy, but they have a bunch of them. I didn't know FYE sold Joes.

Target in Altoona had nearly all of '08 Wave 4 (Artic Snake Eyes, Vipers, TF Flint and some others) on Tueday, but I dunno how much is left now.
