This just in there will be NO Dinobots in part 2 of the Transformers movie.. Kinda expected this though.. How would you fit Dinosaur robots on earth???? Here is the link.....

Has there been confirmation on what new robots WILL make an appearance? I haven't been really following it and have only heard of Soundwave.

Tracks and wheeljack i heard. possibly cliff jumper but i think tracks and wheeljack are slated

Its to bad they think it would be "stupid" to have the dinobots in the movie. Kinda shows their hand in my opinion.
To introduce grimlock, all they need to do is have a proto form autobot land in a natural history museum. Pretty simple really.

To introduce grimlock, all they need to do is have a proto form autobot land in a natural history museum. Pretty simple really.

Thats pretty much what i was thinking a year ago when thoughts ran through my head of how they could do it with a realistic concept.

*All you gotta do is have additional Autobots crash land to earth just like in the first movie in random places, one being a museum. Grimlock sees the T-Rex skeleton on display and copies it. Done deal*

you know what...thats a really good idea! I must admit i had trouble thinking of a good way to do it-but thats it!

Well, he could land in the desert and scan a T-rex fossil. No problem. As for disguising himself as a T-Rex...it can't be as bad as trying to disguise yourself as 50 foot long scorpion. Grimlock = awesome.

as far as who is in it, if the treatment I read isn't fake, expect a Ferrari Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus, Soundwave and the Constructicons.

If it's the one I'm thinking of (Las Vegas?), that was deemed fake.

What I meant by that was by calling the very idea of dinobots in the film "stupid" they have exposed a angle of transformer lore that they will never take seriously. I love the dinobots as much as the constructicons and every other sub group. They are the dreadnoks of cybertron.

Confirmed are Soundwave and the Constructicons. And yes, they are going to form Devestator. there are going to be a total of 20 robots.. 10 on each side. Main focus this time will be Starscream trying to rally the Decepticons( For his own use of course)

There are a lot of fake rumors getting tossed out there by Bay's group, but these are the only two I have found to be an actual confirmation.

My question is how to fix what the first movie screwed up? The first movie had a character named "bonecrusher" Killed by Prime on the Freeway)Which was originally the bulldozer constructicon. The Tank.. as a toy was called "Brawl" (which was the tank from the Combatacons.) But in movie was called "Devastator" by Starscream.

How do you go back and fix those mistakes?


As for the Dinobots.. they were confirmed to be out of the film before Production even started. Bay doesn't feel that they fit in any of his movie and will never be in them.

Barricade was missing at the end, maybe he went looking for bonecrushers head then also retrieves devastators later. Perhaps they then can be recombobulated somehow.

Fair enough, but as others mentioned it seems as if Bay is against the Dinobots period regardless of how conceivable you make them seem. Anything can change tho, and who knows it could just be a ploy to throw everyone off.


I forgot about the Constructicons, IMO I'm really glad they're going to add them, they are a must.
