UPDATE

In my area (Spokane Washington) I got 2 Targets, 3 Wal-Marts, a TRU, a couple really unreliable K-Marts; Freddy's, and a local hunting/fishing/outdoor chain that has been selling DTC and S6.

It's all cleaned out. Everywhere. They all have pegs and price tags, some even up to five pegs high, but it's all gone. Maybe N. Idaho has something, but I haven't checked out that far yet.

And I'm not responsible for any of it. I've been pre-ordering all my Joes from BBTS in anticipation of some rough competition just like we're having now. Glad I thought of something to fall back on.

But "the hunt" for me, is no longer any fun. This lake is just too fished out.

Wave 5 has hit Fred Meyer.

i went to Mill Creek FM after work and they had 2x Shipwreck and hodded CC, so i knew they were afoot, stopped by the LCW FM by my house, and watched a guy buy 2 CGs :( leaving 2x SW and HCC.

Has anybody seen anything after the Iron Grenadier Destro wave in WA? I have yet to see the 2nd wave of comic packs as well. I have been checking Targets and Fred Meyers in Issaquah, Redmond, and Bellevue area pretty frequently - but coming up with zip.

i don't believe wave 6 (aka Wave2 08 ~ Rock n' Roll and Torpedo) has shown up at retail at all, just online stores. Wave 3 comic packs showed up at Fred Meyer yesterday though :)

nope, not at all ~ i saw wave 1 at Targets, and Wave 3 at the Mill Creek store (by my work) and Lake City Fred Meyer (by my house) yesterday, i got Scarface/Fred at Mill Creek and Ace/WW at LCW. they still had 2 SF/Freds @ LCW last night. no tomax/xamot at either. :(

don't sweat missing wave 2, thought ~ there is a revision to wave 3 coming up that puts the wave 2 guys back in.

UPDATE:

Got Tomax/Xamot @ the Shoreline Fred Meyer, they had just put them out (in a weird spot left of the other figures on a bottom peg, i almost missed them) they still had 2 of the rest plus 1 T/X.

also, action figures are still 20% off @ FM ~ Freddy's has been good to me, i got all of wave 5 + an xtra CG 2 weeks ago for buy 2 get 1 free and Wave 3 comic packs for for $8 a pop, woot. (and nice they didn't jack up the price of the comic packs like they do the singles)

Still nothing here in the Issaquah area. Has anybody seen anything new at Target lately? The Fred Meyer stores near me haven't had anything but a single case of the IG Destro wave (and that was about 3 weeks ago). This is getting frustrating... So sick of seeing Shipwreck and Hooded Cobra Commander warming the pegs...

dude, that sucks. i thought FMs kinda always had everything out within a day or two of each other. I haven't even been in a Target in like 6 weeks, the Northgate and Lynnwood ones are pretty pointless, i think the Scalpers and "hardcore collectors" always clean 'em out in the morning.

Just started collecting the new Joes. I was able to find the new wave at Covington Walmart this morning. I picked up Cobra Commander. Rock N' Roll and Torpedo should still be there.

Still nothing here in the east side Seattle area. I'm hoping to have some luck in Redmond/Bellevue tomorrow. For some reason the Seattle Fred Meyer stores seem to get little to no stock and with no Walmarts, we're getting screwed. What the heck is with Target getting nothing? Why is Hasbro even doing exclusives with them when they're not stocking much of the current product? I know I've been getting on here and doing a lot of complaining, but you've got to have a place to vent, right?

Puyallup Freddies finally got some Wave 5 in, 2 cases, everyone's there. No sign of the comic packs.

Puyallup WalMart did have one case of the Wave 3 Comic packs, but they only had Ace/WW and CG/Scarface, which I bought.

Nothing at the Target or TRU in Puyallup or in Tacoma.

Finally found something! After weeks of fruitless searching I finally hit a jackpot of sorts today. I managed to find all of the wave 2 and wave 3 comic packs as well as most of the wave 5 figs (only needed/wanted a few of those). I found a couple of the wave 3 comic packs (Ace/WW & SE/SS) at the Redmond Fred Meyer. But the real jackpot was the Bellevue Toys R Us - they had all 4 wave 3 comic packs, as well as 1 each of the wave 2 packs. They also had the wave 5 figs. There are still multiples of each of the wave 3 packs at Toys R Us if anybody is looking.

Shoot - sounds like I hit the wrong TRU last night. Went to Northgate and found the Tomax-Xamot and Scarface-Fred 2-packs. Then, went to see TRON at the Cinerama (so fun.) Got home and looked at the packages more carefully and I could see they had been tampered with (both packs were retaped on one side, very skillfully.) However, the figures were unmolested and complete. Since I already got my six Doc points, I went ahead and opened them. But some mega-douche went to a lot of trouble for...what? A toy? I don't get those folks.

My brother and I hit every Wal-Mart and Target between Seattle and Vancouver BC (along the I-5 corridor) last Saturday looking for Wave 3 comic packs and Wave 6, and there was nothing in the way of Joes. We hit the super cool Canadian toy store Toy Traders and they had everything through Wave 5, albeit with a slight mark-up. That store is a real treat for any Joe fans, BTW. If you've never been, plan a trip.

Fred Meyer in Ballard has been my go to spot for the occaissional Joe score this year. They haven't stocked up often, but when they do they have all the best pieces.

So if the wave 6 figures were sighted at Wal-mart, we should be getting them at Fred Meyer and Target in what... a month? There must be some law in effect that says that they can't build a Wal-mart within 20 miles of Seattle...

There is no Walmart in Seattle proper because Costco is headquartered here. There has been considerable pressure from them to keep Walmart out. There's no law, per say, but so long as the local company (Costco) can maintain influence on the city council, Wal-Mart isn't getting close to the city.

Normally no Wal-mart would be a good thing to me but it seems like they've been consistently getting the Joe product the fastest. I can't really complain though as I've somehow managed to find most everything that has come out since I started collecting. Now if I could only stumble upon Flint and Lady Jaye, as well as one of the Cobra 5 packs with the black Cobra Commander, I'd be set.

I looked at the Renton Walmart and while it was clear that they've had wave 6 in stock, their pegs were bare of singles - although they had a few wave 3 comic packs. I did have a pretty good score though - per another forum post I found the Cobra Legions 5 packs at Ross, along with a single Joe 5 pack. They're priced at about $12 each - not a bad price.

I reside on the Kitsap Penninsula and I haven't seen anything past the wave three comic packs and the Blade Destro wave and that was weeks ago. I took another un productive trip to Walmart this morning and...came up empty. Going to try a few other areas close by..hopefully I'll have a little better luck...I really don't want to pay ebay prices for Rock and Roll /Torpedo/ and BA CC

Update...
Found Wave 6 at local Walmart (Port Orchard)...The stock worker has been off for three days and no one had placed anything..until today. I snagged a set plus an extra Lt. Torpedo...so it's been a better day than earlier.

once in a while ~ the Walmart is beyond heinous (stinks, doesn't get exclusives, generally looks like it's been air-raided...), and i think it has it's regular scalpers ~ i generally find the Target is "ok" for finding stuff.

Today I hit 4 stores in Lynnwood and didn't find anything I needed (Walmart, Toys R Us, Fred Meyer & Target). I did come across 1 or 2 Crimson Guards and all of the Wave 3 comic packs - but no Wave 6 singles. I still need all of the Wave 6 figures. Walmarts are tough for me to hit and unfortunately that seems to be the only retail outlets they're showing up in. Has anybody seen Wave 6 outside of Walmart?

TRU seems to have product that flies out of the store when it opens or soon after, they did have a space for the new 5 packs the last time I went there...but no sign of them.
Talking to the stock worker at Walmart and was told of a male subject that called and asked about GI Joes. They told him they had some and the guy showed up 5 minutes later and grabbed all he could and proceeded to throw figures all over the place, including some of the SW product. So I seem to have a scalper in my area as well....I better get out the long rifle and the scope...

really, i've totally scored at FM, got what i wanted from Wave 4 (just one extra Air trooper so i had 2) and Wave 5 and wave 3 comic packs ~ but they generally only get them ONCE and they sell out in 2 days (i had to go to 3 diferent to secure all the wave 3 comic packs ~ although the last one had 'em all :p ) and on top of that, i got the wave 5ers for buy 2 get 1 free and the wave 3 comics for 20$ off, and shockingly FM was selling the comic packs for MSRP ~ typically they seem to bump prices up a buck or 2 over target. (single Joes are $6.99)

so FM has been good to me lately :)
So I seem to have a scalper in my area as well....I better get out the long rifle and the scope...

I've been seeing troopers (one or more) at most Targets in Issaquah, Lynnwood and Redmond lately. I've also come across a few CGs. I'm still looking for a single Cobra Officer and all of Wave 6. I have some hope that I'll be able to find Flint and Lady Jaye in the April timeframe as it looks like they're getting packed into one of the new assortments. I'm probably obsessing too much about Wave 6 as it is just starting to trickle into Target and Toys R Us locations across the country - but would love any assistance that people could provide.

Yeah - the collecting addiction is making me crazy too. No - the 5 packs were the original Joe and Cobra leaders 5 packs. No sign of the TRU exclusives yet - or the Target exclusives for that matter. It is making me crazy that I don't have Wave 6 yet and we can already expect new product to hit any day. This lack of a Walmart in the Seattle area is killing me, since they're the only ones that seem to be getting a lot of the newer figures.

I believe they had 2 of the Snake Eyes/Ninja set and 1 of the Cobra sets. It's possible that they have more in back as the shelf space they had them in was somewhat limited. Also have noticed Wave 5 singles starting to hit Targets in this area again. And I'm still looking for Wave 6...

Slaughter - wish I would have seen your post earlier... The Bellevue TRU has the 5 packs in stock and had the remnants of a Wave 6 pack. I managed to get Torpedo and Rock & Roll - but no Battle Armor Cobra Commander. As far as the 5 packs go, it looked like they had around 8 total - but I didn't check to see how many of each. An employee also informed me that they're getting hit by about 3 scalpers each day when they open.

Dang it....Scalper maggots!!!...Bellevue is a haul and a half for me...I keep checking my local (20 min away) TRU and NADA...they have the old Anniversary 5 packs...and a space for the new ones...but never any stocked...
And the Triple T gets crappy gas mileage

I just checked my lacal Fred Meyer and they removed the peg stickers for the GI JOE single packs so that they could place HALO figures..which are cool, but not 3 3/4 in so they would just look dumb riding in my DTC Night Ops Humvee..so I passed

I haven't seen anybody asking about the TRU 5 packs so I assume everybody has what they need. They seem to have a ton of them at the Bellevue TRU. Bad news on their other stock though as they've downsized the number of pegs devoted to Joe figs, likely due to a lack of singles in stock.

hey, Sarge, my FM had removed single-figure pegs too, but in the recent toy aisle reset they put back 4(!!!) pegs for singles and 3 for comic packs (previously it's pretty much been 2 each), hopefully that's an indication they'll be gettin' LOTS of wave 6-7-8 in...

Glad you were able to get the Night Watch set - it's good to see that these boards are benefiting people. I have to expect that we're due to get some Wave 6 figures at Target and Freddies any day now - and probably another batch at TRU. I'm still needing Battle Armor Cobra Commander, but have the others from wave 6. If I see anything, you guys know I'll be posting it for your benefit ASAP.

The Puyallup Freddies did the same thing... the Joe pegs dissapeared for 2-3 months, but they're back, 4 pegs for singles, 3 pegs for comic packs. No sign of them though, I work right by one and pretty much stop in every day... no stock for quite a while.

Oh yeah, anyone have any luck finding the Target exclusives? I called the South Hill Target wit hthe DCPI from the other thread, and they told me Gig Harbor had 9, Tacoma had 12. Called those Targets and they didn't know what I was talking about and the DCPI number I gave them came up as a Hulk Smash-N-Go toy or something.

I checked Redmond, Bellevue and Issaquah yesterday and found nothing as far as singles go. I would imagine that we should see the TRU exclusive 3 packs any day now since they hit other parts of the country 1-2 weeks ago. Starting to wonder if Target & Freddies in my area will see any of the wave 6 singles... As I've said before - I'm with Artie & the Sarge - let's help each other out and make this as easy as possible. Hopefully somebody will find something this week.

Oh yeah - not sure if anybody collects Sigma Six, but the hard to find figs that had been showing up in TRUs across the country (Lt. Stone, Cobra Commander with silver cape, etc.) are collecting dust at the Bellevue store.

Yeah, I do not understand Hasbro at all. I also collect Star Wars and rarely does their supply ever meet their demand. They make a million of one figure and it seems like 10 of another. DJ Crush - just saw that you secured the Target exclusives. Which Target came through for you? I assume you had to get somebody to pull them from the back? Any idea if they have a decent supply?

I picked up one of each on Sunday. I had called the Target in Kent and they had them, but I took the long way there to check other stores for stuff and hit the Sea-Tac Mall / Federal Way Target and put in the DCPI # and they were there so I got a nice old lady to get them for me. She didn't act like it was the last box or anything. Not sure how much they had left though. When I called the Kent store 9 days ago, they said Tacoma, Kent and Tukwila all had 5 cases. Not sure now. If you call just one store they can tell you what other stores have in stock very quickly and easily.

Hey guys - just a heads up that I didn't see anything at several stores in the Issaquah/Bellevue area today. I've gotten so discouraged with hunting this stuff down in WA that I jumped on the opportunity to secure Wave 7 and my hard-to-find BA CC through Hasbro today. I'm not giving up the search, but now I can focus on the store exclusives and keeping my eyes opened for the Wave 1/2 revision case that everybody has been chatting about. If anybody sees those figs appear in our area, please let us know!

went to the woodinville Target today, they had not much of interest aside from a Dreadnok 2 pack.

Here's something interesting... I found Wave 2, except for Flint, at the Puyallup Wal-Mart bu the mall... but it's not a revision case, the stand only has ONE peg, thought that was weird. The Stormshadow, Stalker, Shipwreck, Red Ninja, and Officer were still there. I snagged the SE.

That Walmart had plenty of 2-packs, except the twins...

...but if anyone is looking for the twins or 'noks, the Puyallup Freddies on River Road has two sets of each currently.

BTW, offtopic, has anyone seen the new DCUC Series 2 around?

Sorry guys, I found the wave 2 revision at Walmart and they were $6.84, even though the pegs still said $5.44. And again there was no Flint. Since there are 8 figures to a case I'm assuming that flint is not in the wave because it was SE, SS (joe Version) Red Ninja, Stalker, Shipwreck, Cobra Ofc., Zartan, and Firefly. If anyone can help out with the 5 packs I would greatly appreciate it.
I just spotted the other thread of new figures and am considering scaling back my collecting. It sounds like a flood of extra figures for the sake of producing them. Some sound promising like the Wraith, but Cobra Bazo (WTF is that)

Hey guys - just thought I'd check in after checking a few places today. Nothing to report on single carded figures in Redmond, Bellevue or Issaquah but the comic packs are just about everywhere again. I also managed to snag the Target vehicles by searching the DCPI code and asking a helpful employee to pull them from the back. First time I've done that and I was really surprised that there was no push back.

Sarge - I didn't hear back from you on the TRU 5 packs but they still have them in Bellevue. Please let me know if you made arrangements with anyone else on the board (saw a post or 2 offering assistance) or if you still need them.

Derek - thanks for the update on Puyallup. I couldn't make it down there but I do appreciate the heads up.

I did manage to find the vehicles at an endcap at South Hill Target. There was an AWE striker (with bent hose) and a couple SHARCs left. No single figs at all.

They've been bone dry on single figs for a while. Well, there was a Buzzer and a Shipwreck for like, 3 weeks, but I bought the Shipwreck for my nephew's b-day. Here's hoping Wave 7 shows up soon!

New here to the site. I just got caught up in collecting the new Joes but I'll be damned if they aren't the hardest things to find.

Seems like no one has stocked any figs in a month. I did try using the Target DCPI for the exclusives but not a single store would pull them for me. I can't tell you how excited I am to battle the scalpers for these things (and yes, the sarcasm is indeed dripping from that last sentence).

Anyhow, thanks to everyone for their updates, hope I can contribute when I actually find something of note.

oh, hey and for what it's worth i've recently seen the 'noks 2 pack @ TrU (bellevue) and Fred Meyer recently restocked comicpacks, i've seen the twins there.

Thanks for the tip - I was able to secure the twins, 'noks and Gung-Ho this morning at the downtown Renton Fred Meyer. There was another twin pack there and a Storm Shadow (v1), Destro (v1), Cobra Air Trooper, and Roadblock when I left.

Feels good to actually find something. Now if I can just manage to find a helpful Target employee to pull the exclusives.

Ok, Puyallup / South Hill Target has the vehicles on an endcap in the front of the store at the registers. It is kinda hidden as it is the 2nd row of registers (the ones more toward customer service). they had 3 specters, 2 awe strikers and 1 hiss.

Bonney Lake Target had the revision figs (snakes, ss, lady J, beachhead...) all 2 peggers for sure but only one of each figure.

That is all.

Haven't seen the TRU packs, I did finally get the Target exclusives yesterday. Here is the rundown in case anyone is still looking - perhaps it will save time.

Kent Target - Won't put them out until the 13th
Renton Target - Won't put them out until the 13th
Tukwila Target - Won't put them out until the 13th (and told me that if collectors wanted to pay the heavy fine that the store would be charged for giving them to me early, he would be more than happy to hand them over. Yeah, really nice guy)
Factora Target - Won't put them out until the 13th
Issaquah Target - Finally! They have them in the stock room and gave them to me without any fuss.

Hope someone else has luck.

So the TRU exclusive 3 packs have hit our area. I found a single pack of the "blue" cobra officers at TRU today - nothing else. I talked to an employee who confirmed that it was the last one. It sounded like this was the first shipment they've received and he indicated that they only seem to be getting a single case at a time. This exclusive might be the hardest one to get yet... I am starting to hate store exclusives...

Good for you! Which TRU was that at? (And I agree about hating exclusives- the good thing is if they are anything like TRU's Star Wars exclusives, in time these should be easy to get...BUT WHO WANTS TO WAIT????).

Another fruitless hunt. Target at Sea-Tac mall / Federal Way had 1 Rock n Roll and the revision figures (as did most places). Didn't see any of the vehicles there or even space for them. So a few Snake Eyes' with grey Timbers, a few Lady J's, a few blah, blah, blah. Exciting to see full(er) pegs but nothing brand new.

As much as I saw the Revisions on WED & FRI, I would say you will find what you need soon. Auburn & Federal way seemed to have quite a bit (I saw Snake Eyes & Lady J in both cities yesterday and I saw Stormy in Puyallup on WED.).

I am just mad that Puyallup TRU had the SRO 3-packs for 29 minutes or less today. I called at 9:28 and the guy said they had them and I asked how many and he went to check. He got back on and said "I know we had them because I put them out myself but they are now all gone". Bummer. I was gonna call stores farther away but with gas prices so high, I didn't wanna drive there only to have someone grab them a minute before me, so I guess I will wait til Puyallup restocks or I stumble across them in a regular hunt.

Might be a good idea to call your local TRU this morning if you want the 3-packs though.

Glad I was able to get the exclusives earlier in the week - I went to two Targets Sunday to see if the stores that wouldn't sell them early held firm to their "not until April 13th" decree and I didn't find a single vehicle.

I was able to grab Snow Job, Crimson Guard, Rock N' Roll, and Torpedo though so I'm only a couple figs away from being caught up after getting into the game late. If I find any more exclusives I'll go ahead and pick them up in case any of you still need them.

Is anybody still seeing the wave 1 revision cases in the area - the one with SE & Timber, Stormshadow - 2 peg stands, etc...? I haven't seen them at all in Issaquah or Redmond. It's possible that I missed them, but as I'm sure there is a peg warmer or 2 in the case, I would have expected to see some new shipwreck-class figures on the pegs. There is another thread where people are raving about the quantities of figures that are showing up at Walmart - have those of you near WM stores seen any of this in WA? It is a challenge for me to get to a Walmart but I'd be willing to do it if you guys are seeing figures there.

My luck had to change...I've seen alot of the revision cases at Walmarts still no Flint but it's good to see product on the shelves insted of empty pegs. I also got to Target 2 minutes before a scruffy scalper arrived ans secured a set of the exclusive vehicles. The guy told me he had taken a bunch down to Portland and sold them for 35 bucks a pop. I came close to putting the Cobra Clutch on the guy and leaving him there. Thanks to everyone for the spotting of the TRU 5 packs they are kindof collecting dust hopefully for a bit longer since Mrs. Slaughter would not let me feed the addiction any longer...at least for today...damn that refinance on the Equalizer...the payments are a bitch.

Hey guys - sorry I've been quiet lately but I really haven't found anything of note recently except for the new Indiana Jones figures (not really getting into that line - gotta draw the line somewhere, right?). Where all have people seen wave 7 so far? I've looked at some Freddies, Targets, and 1 TRU but haven't seen anything in the way of single carded figures except for the usual peg warmers. I know Walmart has been mentioned MANY times, but there just aren't any within a reasonable distance from me - the only way I'd make that trek is if you guys say that wave 7 is practically clogging up the pegs somewhere (and I seriously doubt that is the case). I also never managed to find that wave1/wave2 revision case. Thanks!

Anybody seen Wave 7 short of the initial find at Walmart? From what I'm reading on other boards, it sounds like even though we haven't seen many in WA when they do show up there should be plenty. I just hate the wait... especially given some of these posts about how many Vipers everybody in CA and elsewhere already have.

Last I checked Bellevue TRU (last week) they had the blue Cobra 3 pack, but none of the others. BTW, I did luck out today and found SE and Viper from wave 7 - but the rest were gone.

Supermall Wal-Mart (auburn) had 4 or 5 Vipers, 2 HISS Drivers and a few W.Bill and Spirits in stock this morning(as well as Cmmndr Neo and Shadow Ops trooper if you're into SW). Day before, Super Wal-Mart at end of 167 had some Vipers, SE and Dukes I've already got 1 Viper and 1 HISS driver, this wave doesn't do much for me so I'm leaving them alone. But I'll post right away if I come across more.

Ok - so my find at Target wasn't a fluke yesterday. I hit a different Target today and found a complete case of wave 7. I'm getting the impression that Target hasn't started getting the quantity of figures that Walmart has - yet. But they seem to be getting at least 1 case of Wave 7 at the Seattle area stores. For anybody that is interested, there is a single Viper left at the Redmond Target.

TRU had them as of last night as well. One of the cobra packs was switcherood (had a 5pack CC and two troopers in various states of dissaray), but there were two Joe packs, one CG pack, and one Cobra pack still untampered with.

No sign of Wave 7 anywhere yet that I've seen.

Ok, The SOUTH Walmart in Federal Way had Wave 8 CC and Roadblock and some wave 7 as of 4pm today. Target at Sea-Rac Mall in Federal Way Had some Wave 7 (Hiss, SE, Wild Bill, Duke). Covington Walmart had absolutely nothing (unless you count comic packs).

Was that Target the one off the 320th St in Federal Way? I went there last time and they had tons of CC. I didn't ever think they would stock up.

Edit: I actually found that HISS driver. I didn't even think it would be there considering that I counted 12 hooded CCs on the pegs along with Duke and Wild Bill.

Yeah, that Target that is connected to the mall on 320th (it used to be called Sea-Tac mall, but now it has some new name that I forget).

Covington Washington is getting in the wave 8 now. Stopped by to get my wife's contacts and there was a full hand-cart of action figures. Most of them were Transformers and Indiana Jones. i asked about G.I. Joe and the guy said he had already put out the newest ones (wave 7, which were still on the shelf) I noticed another box w/08 on it and asked him about that. He opened it up for me and i finally got my Major Bludd. Yeah. I left roadblock/CC/ and a grey cobra soldier there. Probably gone by now, but at least they are getting them in stock now! (A ton of wave 7 was there also)

I'm seeing wave 7 at Target consistently now. No sign of wave 8, unless the extra Vipers I saw yesterday were leftover from that wave. I'm a little concerned about wave 4 comic packs - the pegs are so full of comic pack waves 1-3 I'll be shocked if the Targets near me start to put them out anytime soon.

Wave 8 has the new logo on it. If you see the 25th logo, it's still Wave 7, with the exception of Bludd (last 25th logo, Wave 8). I didn't expect Federal Way Kent to put out Wave 7 or 8 as they had 12 CC on the pegs either, but they did. There's still hope for the comic packs.

I found a couple other Vipers at Kent Target tonight. Wave 7 stuff though. Also strangely enough I found Zartan and Light Blue CC. Both were stamped 80852. I don't know if it is a filler wave or a filler with Wave 7. With the sightings of Firefly, I may have missed it if it was there.

I'm seeing Vipers everywhere - but not much else. I originally thought that the Vipers would be hard to find, but I guess with them packed 2 per case - and possibly because of the issues some people have with the hands - they're starting to become peg warmers already. I've seen at least 3, if not more, at each Target I've been to this week.

I wish our stores stocked up like all the other places. I pick up a figure and check to see if the scanners show any in the back when I go to Target, but nada so far. Seems like the stores get only get one or two shipments and that's it. I am looking for the Comic Packs and Firefly from the revision wave as well.

Freddies on River Road had one case of Wave 7 last saturday morning, but by I only saw two Snake-Eyes, Spirit, and Wild Bill. I already had my case from BBTS, so I didn't pick them up. Went back at lunch to pick 'em up and they were gone.

But the good news is Freddie's got 'em!

No sign of Wave 8 though. Hasn't been a restock in over a week since I saw the Wave 7.

Hey Artie, we're getting *very* spotty sightings of Wave 7 at some Fred Meyers down here, but it's not the same broad (and same day) distribution that we were getting with other waves.

Worth keeping an eye open, though. They should be there soon.

No wave 4 comic packs in the Redmond area - and no sightings of wave 8 singles. I saw on another thread that one of the Tankers talked to a Hasbro rep at their local Walmart - the rep indicated that Joe shipments were intended to slow through the summer to make room for their movie related merchandise: Indiana Jones, Iron Man, Hulk... before picking up again in late summer or fall. I hope we're going to get a lot of the most recent wave of figures in this area (similar to wave 7) but I wasn't encouraged by that other story.

Well it seems to me that if Wave 8 & Wave 4 comic packs are showing up in other states (and I have 5 outta 8 of Wave 8 at retail here in WA), that would mean Hasbro is shipping them out. It wouldn't make much sense for them to have them all manufactured and then just sit on them in a warehouse somewhere. I figure if they were planning a slowdown it would be between waves and they would put a hold on shipping any everywhere.

Just my guess though.

I hear ya. I think the bigger problem (at least as far as the Wave 4 Comic Packs) is that they have no room to put them out as most places have full pegs of Waves 1-3 as far as the 2-packs go. I almost wonder if it would be worth it to pick a store and buy all or as many 2-packs as I can and hope that they restock with Wave 4 and then I could return all the ones I bought and buy Wave 4. But knowing my luck, they will put out just more of Waves 1-3 or someone will snatch up all of Wave 4 and I won't get any even though I was responsible for them being put on the pegs...

Or I could learn patience :)

Nothing new and I haven't been able to find the comic packs just yet. For those in the Renton/Bellevue area that are still looking, the Factoria Target has 4 Night Specters on clearance at $6.98 I picked up the only AWE Striker. There are no HISS tanks. Also TRU Bellevue has about 3 each of the Officer 3 packs. I was actually surprised to see the CG packs still there.

I just started posting. I found the TRU 3 packs at Puyallup awhile back. I ordered Wave 7 and 8 from http://www.dnstoys.com/ and he gave me wave 8 at Emerald City. I saw Wave 8 at TRU Olympia about 2 weeks ago. I just received Wave 4 comic packs from Big Bad Toy Store last Friday. They're really sweet. I noticed that Shipwreck has 2 different face variations (Angry and not so Angry). I opened up most of them except Red Star. It's only one per case right now, but they should be putting more in the next revision. I'm going to hit all the stores tomorrow during my 2nd job. Hey, if you're from the Olympia area I want to know if there's any GI Joe fan meetings in the area. I'm a member of the SARLACC (Seattle ARea Local Artifact Collectors Club), but I would love to meet some Joe fans too! Anyway, please keep the hunt up!

What do you guys think about that new Sideshow 12" figure? I've kept an eye on Sideshow for a long time, watching as they released some great looking Star Wars and Lord of the Rings figures, but this Snake Eyes may be the best one to date. Pretty amazing.

I own 7 of the Star Wars 12" Sideshow figures and have been quite satisfied for the price ($50-$70) and while Snake Eyes looks great and has a ton of accessories, the $119 price tag made me kinda hesitant...til I pre-ordered the damn thing...

i think they're awesome, but suffer from #1. to expensive for me to justify on a single toy (that's not a Masterpiece Transformer :p) and #2. i've always had a hard time with 12" scale, no matter how good they are they seem "dollish" to me.

They're the awesomest shelving units ever for displaying action figures, and have the extra $12 light pre-installed for you. I bought them both less than 6 months ago, and both are in pristine, like-new condition. At the IKEA Seattle (Tukwilla) location, they're $79.99 + the light at $12 + 8.9% tax = $100.

I'm looking to sell these for $50 each, so about HALF off what I paid for each one. You'll need to come get 'em if you want them, as I don't have a truck any more to haul 'em.

The Wal-Mart that is far south on Meridian in Puyallup (Not The One By The Mall) had some wave 8's: 1 Flint, 1 Baroness, 1 or 2 Python officers, maybe a Roadblock and a few cc's.

The Puyallup Toys R Us and also the Northgate Toys R Us had a bunch of SRO 3-packs but didn't see any CG 3-packs.

I am seriously getting tired of not finding any figures in the Seattle area. I have yet to find anything but Cobra Commander from wave 8 and haven't seen any of comic pack wave 4. And now with wave 9 and the new vehicles hitting I'm starting to get fed up... Iis there anybody else out there who is frustrated about the vehicles with the exclusive figures? Although I think the vehicles are nice and I'm glad people have the option to buy them, I don't have the space or real desire to collect the vehicles but I do want the figures. Maybe all of this is adding up to me needing to reconsider collecting this line...

I hear ya, Iowa ~ I FINALLY found w4 comic packs at the Aurora K-Mart of all places (i go to the Petsmart next door for stuff all the time and peak in once in awhile, especially with the vehicle sightings) They had 1 case out, so i scored Duke/Red Star (which are 1 per case right now) they still had at least 1 of FF/SS and CH/SW.

aside from the 1 time i saw w7 leftovers (Jetpack Duke and SEv3) this is the first new thing i've seen at retail since that weekend w5 popped up at Fred Meyer. i think that was in January? (or even Dec???) Edit: ok, it was the first weekend of February, but still... thank goodness for BBTS pre-orders...

I'm betting on scalpers. Seattle-proper is almost always barren. Only time I've had luck is when I get their right after a case has been opened, usually on Saturday afternoons at Target.

Up north I've had much better luck, starting at about Alderwood and up to Bellingham, but that's a lot of miles.

Not sure if this has already been said, but everett walmart had the dumbest assortment I've ever seen. There was about 20 c. commanders, 20 dukes w/flag, 20 vipers, 20 spirits, 10-15 SE, a few zartans, and about one or two other guys. But, nothing else new. In the last few days I've been to 5 walmarts and had no luck. I don't even have half of the last wave and what little I did get I got through ebay. This is starting to get annoying.

Stuff is getting here. You just have to wake up early in the morning to get them. There are three Walmarts with 10 miles and two more within the 15 mile range. Yes it gets expensive (gas, time, etc.) especially if I leave empty handed. If there was one of them on my way to work, I would be there more often. I barely hit Targets anymore so if I find something there, it would be rare.

I was lucky enough to find my last waves by doing some hunting and on tips from other members on the TFW2005 forum. I may start going online for purchases as the rising costs for Joes and gas are climbing.

I was down south looking for the new vehicles, but came up with squat. No 25th figs on the pegs besides the usual Wave 8 CC peg warmer. I did happen to see the 12" dolls at the Bonney Lake and Graham Walmarts. I passed on them.

looks lik the 2\wave 4 comic packs have appeared at Fred Meyer if anyone is looking for them, they had a set at mine yesterday and usually things seem to appear at all FMs within a day or two of each other...

Lynnwood TrU had spots for the vehicles on Friday, but they were long gone. I did get Transformers Universe Prowl and Sunstreaker there, and let me tell you, if you have even a passing interest in TFs you really owe it to yourself to pick 'em up, especially Sunstreaker...

I want both those TF's but I just figure they will be as hard if not harder to find than Joes. Was there lots or just the 2 for you?

DJ, you should check out Southcenter or the other TRUs in the area. They weren't that hard to find this weekend. I was at Southcenter, Bellevue, and Northgate TRUs yesterday and was able to find them on the pegs. I have seen them on a pallet at one Walmart, but they haven't stocked any on the shelves yet.

Cool. I was already planning to hit Southcenter tomorrow. Hopefully I will run across wave 9... p.s., anyone looking for vehicles- amazon.com had them all with free shipping but are down to just the vamp & serpentor / armadillo right now (still free shipping on orders over $25.00).

Hey, new here, I am active in the Transformers rooms on TFW and seibertron. I don't collect Joes myself, but buy them for my Canadian cousin.

Anyway, I found one Black HISS Tank last week at TRU, and found Vamp, Ram Cycle, and Armadillo/Chariot today at a Walmart. I talked to the lady in the Walmart toy department, and she stated that the vehicles are not officially suppost to be released until next week, so be on the lookout (maybe other locations will release them early, or get them from the back). I would rather not post where until the member that I PMd has written me back, but if you are more south and want the info, please PM me. Happy Hunting all!!!

i don't think so, i think they produce Transformers in much greater quantities (also i'd imagine stores order them more heavily) aside from the 08 Bumblebee i have NEVER had a very hard time finding a TF around here. and Seriously, Sunstreaker is AWESOME. possibly the best deluxe mold ever. as-if-not-more possible then a 25th Joe (he can hold his rifle in a simulated 2 handed pose) and the automorph head reveal is just sick...

Mill Creek Freddies has a Duke/Red Star if anyone is still lookin'...

Well I went looking fo those TF's on Monday and hit 7 stores and nothin'... But I will keep lookin'.
