Hey guys, I'm from DC but up here on vacation. I went into a place called Pink Gorilla in the University district last night and they had a few 25th joes for $6.99. One blueshirt and a couple of snow serpents, plus a general hawk, major bludd, and a few others. It looked like the same wave that was appearing at Marshalls/TJ Maxx earlier in the year. I picked up the one Cobra Diver.

Went on a hunt today in Spokane. Found a few POC figures at Fred Meyer, Target and White Elephant. Checked out the store Time Bomb for the first time, they have all kinds of 80's toys. They have a nice selection of ARAH joes. I grabbed a Storm Shadow (Desert Battle), Duke (Desert Battle), Cobra Alley-Viper, Cobra Shock Trooper (City Strike), Crazylegs (Jungle Assault), Cobra Viper (Desert Battle) and Jinx from Time Bomb.

Wow! I found a Shadow Tracker at the Gig Harbor Target! Now I'm only missing Destro. I'm happy I started pre-ordering the figures from BBTS. They are getting too hard to find in the stores & having to drive around is costing too much. It cost me $30 to fill up my Skyhawk. It used to only cost $15. Happy hunting!

Northgate (Seattle) TRU has 'clearanced out' all Joes. The employees couldn't find me a solitary, single carded figure. They said they been marked down to 25% of the original price; there was none to be found in the 'dump bins.' They had had about 30 the week before. Very unusual.

Fred Meyer really needs to ditch the RoC singles already. I'm certain they would move lots of PoC merch if they could flush out the old crap.

I saw Low-Light at Lacey Wal-Mart. I managed to get the Comi-Con exclusives after waiting in the line 5 hours Thursday morning down in San Diego. The line was organized a lot better this year. Did anyone else go to the con?

Finally found Low-Light at Fred Meyer. I also picked up a Sky Striker at the Spokane Valley Target, left one behind for anyone looking for one. Both of the Fred Meyer locations were fully stocked on POC. I saw Recondo, Firefly, Beachhead, Jungle Duke, Arctic Destro, Jungle BAT, Jungle Viper, General Hawk and a lot more. I picked up an Arctic Destro on clearance at the Valley Walmart for $5. They had Desert Battle Duke and a couple more Destro's.

As for sightings in the Tacoma/Lakewood area, I found nothing today except the same stuff that's been hanging on the pegs for months now. The Rite Aid by PetCo in Lakewood has a Crimson Neo Viper and a Pit Trooper though.

I found those new dudes at the Lacey Wal-Fart. I left a pair behind. I accidentally bought the other 4 figures thinking there may be paint variations or something. I noticed the Elite Viper comes with a different rocket launcher and the Iron Grenader comes with a different paint application on his shoulder armor piece. They wouldn't ring up at the register so they just sold them with a generic GIJOE code.

I saw a lot of the new vehicles at the Lacey Fred Fire, but passed.

I finally finished putting on all the stickers on the new Skystriker. Now I have to open up the SDCC exclusive one and put all the Starscream stickers on that one too. That's a ton of stickers. It was cool to find out the regular Skystriker came with variation stickers and pilot names!

Scooped up a stalker @ Tacoma TRU. Steel brigade, cobra trooper, viper & toxo-hazard viper were still there. A new shipment of marvel is literally falling off tha shelf. At least two dr dooms & Falcons & thanos'. Atomic Toys across the street has the new CW Savage Opress wave for around $15 a figure (new 'capt Rex with huge jet pack, black ops clone, wolf squad ARF trooper, shirtless Savage)... Plus all the 4-inch thunder cats for $12-$16 Kinda stiff, but a decent fall back if you can't find them at the usual hot spots. Happy collecting!

I broke down and bought Stalker and Steel Brigade Trooper at Wallgreen in Renton for 10.99. Then went to Bellevue TRU a little later in the day and found them for 3 bucks cheaper. Oh well at least I got em. It has been pretty dry as far as figures have gone in the Renton area. I don't have a lot of time on my hands to hunt these days so I haven't traveled south to hunt for figs.

I've been to every Wall-Mart, Fred Meyers, and Target within the cities of Auburn, Covington, Kent and Federal Way and none of them have any of the newer ones. I am done spending money on gas driving around.

PM me so we can hook up and I'll get some of these to you. I just want one each that I open and even then I only want certain figures. But because of Hasblo's dumb distribution scheme coupled with the knuckle-dragging hoarder guys around our area, casual buyers like myself end up missing a bunch of stuff. When I saw these being put out on the pegs today it was just a knee-jerk reaction to snap them up because of the strike out's I've had on the last couple waves.

I'm still looking for a Steel Brigade, Lowlight, Sci Fi, Lifeline, Airtight, and Zombie viper and would happily make a 1:1 trade. The only ones I'm keeping out of these is Storm Shadow, a cobra trooper and a techno viper, the rest can go.

has this wave even been sighted yet in the state? I was talking with a couple Hasbro reps at the Auburn Walmart earlier this week and they had mentioned that it'll be hit and miss the remainder of the year on seeing new stuff. Most of the retailers are more focused on keeping the shelves stocked with the Christmas sale merchandise that the last thing on their priority list is putting out new cases of action figures. They did mention that Target is also getting wave 3 cases and they had just stocked the Federal Way Target with that assortment.

Anyways, we should see plenty of wave in a few weeks. Just missed scoring the whole set at Lakewood yesterday. Zilch at Lynnwood (164th) Wal*Mart and Fred Meyer this morning. I even stopped by Walgreen (10.99 each there!)

I talked with a guy at Wal*Mart that was stocking figures, he said he wasn't sure when the next shipment was coming, only that he was sure the only ones they would be getting between now and Jan was the Storm Shadow wave. Who knows how many cases though.

I bought the Wave 10 case of 12 from BigBadToystore today though so as soon as I get that I know I'll have extras of Techno Viper, Scarlett, Tunnel Rat, Ripcord, and Renegade Trooper. I may even get rid of the Law and Order. Any of you Everett area guys can PM me if youre interested.

Dude this is the way it is from Washington State, to down here in Florida, Walmart's distribution is so friking spotty it's riddiculous, and stores like Target, and TRU don't even stock the current waves until about 3-4 months after they have passed and everyone who's gonna get them has them.

Was at the Woodinville Target yesterday and they had reset the Star Wars display in preparaton for the Ep I stuff. No new figs though.

The Joes were still parred down to 4 pegs and only had Firefly and Cobra Commander on them. No sign of anything new...yet.

I simply can't wait 2+ years for that SS. It's, perhaps, the finest figure Hasbro has released to date!

Add to that it's a little bit regionalized, and we may not even get many (if any at all)

the on-line stores have most of the new waves of figures you just have to look around and compare prices. Except for storm shadow which the only way your getting him is to buy the wave 3 case if you can still find them.

My advice to those still looking...make some friends, network and coordinate your hunting. Save yourself the gas and time by communicating with your buddies. Shoot, works for most of us on here who know one another....and yes, it's nice to see some life in this thread, D!

There hasn't been anything that's come out that's been so rare, it's worth spending 5x the retail price to acquire. I could see spending that on a vintage item that's been out of production for 20 years but a new figure? That's madness. Stores are just getting back to getting a regular rotation of stock because of the holidays. These figures will be pretty abundant in the next few weeks.

And if you're just hearing about a sighting from the front page of hisstank, you're already out of the hunt. Those resolute sets were wiped out within 24-48 hours of the first initial sighting in the area (unless your Ross is in an obscure part of town). Forget it if you're along the I-5 corridor. We'll probably see another wave of them hit though if we're lucky.

No new Joes at Lynnwood Wal*Mart this morning. They had all of the new Clone Wars stuff though. I got Aqua Droid and Chewbacca. Didn't see new Vintage stuff yet.

The Fred Meyer on 164th is a pile of crap. They still have two pegs full of ROC cobra troopers. No sign of anything new there. I hate that store lol.

I saw that Target is raising prices on Joes back to $8.99. Makes me happy actually. I noticed that when the prices are higher I'm able to find figures easier.

The Resolute Packs were online exclusives as well, just not solely to BBTS. BBTS and EE had them for sale. I'm guessing EE and other companies carrying them may have sold their share. I bought my Dreadnok sets off BBTS.I also bought the first Arctic and Desert packs off them when they went up. Online exclusives that also found their way to Rite Aid (found and bought some extras). I paid full price when first released and still worth it to me. If there is a chance BBTS sells to Ross, then I may pick up another set.

I have an extra airtight and law & order...my buddy grabbed them from Walgreen's up north. $10.99 each plus tax. Cards are pretty nice but the bubbles are kinda dinged up.

Entertainment Earth, Walmart, Toys R Us and Target have all sold down their overtsock to Ross (and the other discount stores too.) Diamond sold off the Arctic & Desert Cobra sets to Rite Aid (and some to TJ Maxx, I think.)

The smart money on where the Ross Resolute sets came from would Toys R Us. They carried them and all of the other most recent Ross Joe items have also been TRU items:

PoC Quick Kick
So it "adds up" that these would have come from TRU, although Ent Earth no longer has the item either, so it could have come from them.

Walgreens is the last step for me, I usually try Wal-mart, and Target first, then toys 'r us and finally Walgreens. So only am I truly desperate. I got my Low light at Walgreens. I try to not count on Ross too much as their selection is spotty, more so that my usual haunts.

I use to go there when I lived in Seattle. Scott's a pretty good guy and has always been fair with his prices. He had a lot more stuff when he was in the spot behind Joanne Fabrics. His place over there by the 7-11 is a small hole in the wall but he gets some good stuff every now and then.

Fred Meyers in Lakewood was jackpot for me today. No Stormshadow, but I feel pretty caught up now that I've got a Sci-Fi, Lifeline, Airtight, Law & Order and a Zombie Viper. I picked up Renegades Tunnel Rat, but I saw someone walk off with Scarlett. I left Zombies, Renegades troopers and Techno Vipers among the rest for others -- great deal on the buy 2 get one free!

Today I finally found Sci-Fi, Law & Order, Airtight, and Lifeline at Lacey Fred Fire. I'm still looking for a Zombie Viper. Fred Fire had a 30% off sale. There was nothing left behind though, sorry. I was too lazy to go search for the Zombie Viper at the Tumwater Fred Fire, so you may get lucky there. I went to SDCC last year and managed to be lucky enough to score the exclusives. It took 7 hours, a lot of patience, and PURE luck. I'm going this year too. I love that convention the most. It's just super fun. Happy hunting.

Went to the Longview Fred Meyer today. I saw around 20 Crimson Hisses, the VTOL and a VAMP. Figures included a Zombie Viper, Airtight, Ripcord and few others though I didn't pay much attention to which ones. There were at least 5 different figures though.
