Thought I'd let you all know, River Road K-Mart has all the Joe and TF Mighty Muggs as of 10 minutes age, incl. Prime, Megs, BumbleBee, Storm Shadow, and CC. The only one I took was Snake-Eyes (finally!).

I bought the Beachhead/Serpentor, but they have the rest of the Joe Combat Heroes wave 2 as well incl Destro/Scarlett and Flint/Baroness

They also have all the new Marvel 3.75 figs - I took one of the Spiderman figs and the stealth Iron Man, but left the rest of the wave incl. Black Panther, Daredevil, 2 Wolvies

If anybody is up in Everett Toys R Us had ALL of Wave 1 Marvel U figures and all but Gambit for Origins. I got Logan, Blue/Yellow Wolvie and Brown Wolvie, and Deadpool. Wolvie in this set is smaller and IMO is waaay cooler.

We got Wave 2 Mighty Muggs Destro and Baroness at my shop this week.

What is the DCPI for the new items? I'll check out my Targets asap. I'm really excited about those items! I just bought a Tiger Sting for $105 w/box (Yeah, too much) and a Tiger Paw w/box for $51. I'm trying to complete my Tiger Force collection. I just need the Tiger Fish and Dusty now. Has anyone else seen the new Tiger Vehicles? I saw them at Northwest Toyz but that's it. I went out to the Target east of Puyallup and saw that someone put a used Rattler back in a box and returned it. That's lame. Happy hunting.

Puyallup walmart has one more flash along with the rest of that dcuc wave. Tru in puyallup has the new joe and cobra five packs AND tyhe greatest battles five packk, along with a brown wolvie, tanktop logan, and the the trooper guy. No sign of deadpool yellow wolvie or gambit. Or the marvel universe figs.

If any of you see yellow wolvie or deadpool please grab a set for me.

Hey - just a heads up to everyone that we've got somebody returning repacked figures in our area. I read about that all the time on these boards, but have never encountered it in the Seattle area before today. I came across a Shockwave/Destro comic pack today and was super excited, only to find it contained repacked figs - I think they were old Joes from Valor vs. Venom or something. I hate to see that crap...

Someone returned one of the new G.I. Joe five packs with the resculpted Shipwreck to the Everett TRU. They switched out the peg stands with the ones from the Cobra pack. Just be super careful about what you buy an scrutinize it to a fault.

I found a deadpool at the Olympia TRU yesterday. Keep your eyes peeled. I bought him plus Spiderman. I thought the Punisher was pretty bad, so I left him behind. I also found an Obi-Wan at the Olympia Target. Nothing new for the JOEs though.

Not Joe related, but I finally found wave 1 of the Wolverine:Origins series at the Tacoma TRU today. Picked up Deadpool and yellow Wolvie. (Deadpool is easily my favorite fig in a while) Multiples of what I grabbed and all the rest are still there.

They had wave 1 of the Marvel Universe there as well. Left 'em all, but they had both reg and flaming Torch, as well as bobble-head Punisher there too.

Nothing worth mentioning Joe-wise. Lots of 5-packs of all shades and tons of SRO packs as well. Still only had the singles from the TF Duke wave.

Saw the Resolute 5-packs at TRU in Puyallup today. They actually look pretty damn sweet. Repaint target exclusives at both the Puyallup and Tacoma targets. Thank god my cousin has been out of money, cause I haven't bought him anything in a while.

UPDATE

In my area (Spokane Washington) I got 2 Targets, 3 Wal-Marts, a TRU, a couple really unreliable K-Marts; Freddy's, and a local hunting/fishing/outdoor chain that has been selling DTC and S6.

It's all cleaned out. Everywhere. They all have pegs and price tags, some even up to five pegs high, but it's all gone. Maybe N. Idaho has something, but I haven't checked out that far yet.

And I'm not responsible for any of it. I've been pre-ordering all my Joes from BBTS in anticipation of some rough competition just like we're having now. Glad I thought of something to fall back on.

But "the hunt" for me, is no longer any fun. This lake is just too fished out.

I bought the G.I.Joe five pack at Fred Meyers in Renton. They had the Cobra one also but I passed on it. I opened my score and Flint's arm fell off at the elbo joint. That sucked, but I will find a way to fix him.

Yesterday I picked up Deadpool (left 3 more there) and Gambit at Everett Target. I found Water Moccasin and Skyhawk at Everett TRU and several more Snowtroopers at Everett Fred Meyer (Left those).
Still looking for the last two DVD packs. I need the one that comes with the Mass Device tread and the one with the diamond tip. The scarcity of these is just plain stupid.

I was just at the Everett Wal-Mart yesterday around 5pm. I saw all those CC, Duke w/Jet Pack too! Someone totally dumped a bunch of ebay figures they probably bought for $3 each and took advantage of Wal-Marts return policy. Lame! Anyway, sorry I missed you! I did not find any new JOEs. I did go to the onestoptoyshop and bought a few vintage Joes and some half priced star wars figures. The Star Wars meeting was great too! Is anyone going to see Carrie Fisher's "Wishful Drinking" show? I'm going with a bunch of Sarlacc members after the April 4th comi-con show. Tickets are $30 up, but it is Princess Leia doing her on performance/auto biography on stage! Take care!

Which is unfortunately showing up everywhere. I can't believe we're getting this new case assortment in large quantities but have yet to see much of wave 13 and other newer figures. This is the type of stuff that could potentially ruin this line - too much unwanted product on the pegs and no room or need for retailers to order the stuff we want. Hasbro just continues to miss the boat on distribution.

I saw the resolute comic packs at the Olympia Target last Saturday. They are probably still there. No one has been buying them. There's ton of the new resolute battle packs and the regular one at both Targets in the Olympia area and Wal-Fart Lacey. I found the new Star Wars exclusive comic packs at Wal-Fart Lacey the other day. They are super sweet! I opened the ewoks and put them in my endor display. I have not got around to opening the new Python Conquest or Tiger Rat yet, but I have some time this week. I did open the Rancor though! Wow! He is SUPER big and SUPER Sweet! I will go hunting on Saturday morning to see if anything else new is out. Take care and happy hunting!

I took my kids to the comicon and had a good time even though i could not find a resolute Duke.I saw Brandon Jerwa but did not aproach him because my wife was really drunk when we met at a culb and was screaming yo joe all the time when I was talking to him. Wow - the Washington thread has gone quiet for over 2 weeks. How's everybody doing out there? I haven't found any new or in demand Joe's on the pegs lately. I did come across my 2nd Destro/Shockblast comic pack and again it was a repack. In this case, the person just swiped Shockblast and left the Destro. I'm so desperate for this set that I actually considred getting it just for the single figure - then I regained my senses and reminded myself that the other fig is the one I really want to add to the display.

I did get lucky and snagged the Best of the 80s DVD set via BBTS. They had a pre-order that lasted a couple hours on their site last week and I managed to secure one which got added to my "pile of loot" this week.

I assume everybody is following Resolute? I LOVE this new show - sad to see we're already half-way through it. Hopefully Hasbro will produce more episodes and roll-out the figures that we keep seeing show up on the 'Tank.

Yeah - no Sting Raider or Skyhawk yet for me either. I've also never seen the wave ?7? comic packs (CC/Gung-ho, viper/IG, etc.) but I can live without them since they're all repaints. Distribution for this product has been so odd - from the sound of it on the 'Tank, resolute single carded figs are pretty plentiful on the east coast but I have yet to see them here (although I scored them from another Tanker). I have a feeling we're going to get more than we asked for with the new movie figs - pegs literally choked with figures. I'm liking some of what I'm seeing with that line - maybe all when i see them in person - but I think the glut of figures could put the future release of "classic" figures in jeopardy. Stores don't pay enough attention to different figure lines like Joe and if they have figs on the peg, regardless of movie or classic, they're not going to be ordering more. That seems to be what has happened with the comic packs - everybody over ordered waves 1-5, making waves 6-8 harder to find.

yeah, i never saw wave 7 either ~ i thought that was odd all things considered, but i wasn't really that interested in anything from it.

I got in on the BBTS preorder for w.5 vehicle cases, cuz i really wanted 2 stingers, and i get a Sky Hawk in that, so that's covered, but the Moccasin was like my favorite Cobra vehicle when i was a kid ~ i even trade tradeing a SDCC Commander for that and the comic packs and didn't get any takers!

I received the Hall of Heroes figures from BBTS and Hasbrotoyshop. I ordered doubles because...yeah, I'm insane. I found the new Clone Wars figures at Target along with the Jabba and Yavin Battle Packs. Joe has been dead. I did watch the first few Resolute episodes, but I prefer the older episodes because they're just so campy. I prefer kid friendly episodes since I have two younger daughters. I've been opening a bunch of carded figures from 92-94, comic pack figures from now, terminator figures (I bought the hunter killer and T RIP: I cannot wait for this movie!!!), and even the Star Trek Enterprise. Last time I found anything new was the Tiger Rat and PP Conquest. I found all the singles and comic packs back in December or January. TRU and Target seem to have had received the Wave 7 comic packs in last week, but with the price increase, I passed on the repaints. Nothing else but Wave 10-12 on the pegs. Ordered a couple HOH Bats from HTS. I'm just waiting for Wave 14 singles and new vehicles to come out. Maybe pick up some movie figs when they come out.

Fred Meyers in Puyallup (on River Road) has the following:

A bunch of the revision cases with the Ninja Viper, Python Guardsman, and Cobra Divers. Probably three of each still there.

Also had one or two comic Deadpools on one of those cardboard displays, along with the rest of the Origins figs - several tiger-stripe and brown Wolvies still hanging there.

They also had the new Terminator figs - most of which suck, but the T-whatevers are kinda cool.

Finally, lots of the crappy not-really-3.75 scale Star Trek figs. For any fans, or packaging-error nuts out there, there was a Sulu figure that had a "Spock" label on the pegs. Probably get a mint for that on eBay.

I'm still looking for the Shockwave comic pack. I've found repacks of it twice now - both times Shockwave/blast was gone which is the real reason to get the pack. Damn thieves...

I don't suppose anybody has a spare of that pack or could keep their eyes open?

I finally found the Empire Wave at Lacey Wal-Fart. I already had all the figures so I stocked up on some Hoth Rebel Soldiers and another Ugnaught. Does anyone know if the variations are coming out at the same time or apart from one another? I saw TERMINATOR SALVATION last night with the entire family. It was totally awesome! Like Star Trek, there was a ton of elements in the script and movie that made you think of the previous films. As soon as I got home I had to get all the movies on Blu-Ray, even the special T2 Skynet edition with Endoskeleton head. If you haven't seen it yet you should go order one. Like the Bladerunner brief case that came out last year, this Endoskeleton version will most likely sell out. I picked up the Star Trek films and season one of Terminator the Sarah Conner Chronicles. Thanks to everyone that came to the Sarlaac meeting! I saw the Robinhood Sherwood Forest and Battle Wagon at Toy Stable so I had to buy it for my Ewok Diorama. Unfortunately (or fortunately) they are both MISB and it's impossible for me to open something like that. Therefore, I'm looking for some loose Robin Hood toys.

In other news, the toy shelves everywhere were stocked with Rancors!!! Finally, I bought a MISB one. I didn't see the R2 units, but I heard they are straight repacks from the Japanese toys we bought a while back. Nothing new on the JOE front. I haven't bought a JOE for a while now. I'm sure the movie toys will be super sweet though. Happy Hunting!

Target has a full set of Wave 4 Marvl Universe figs. Picked up one of the darker Spiderman figs, left the rest. Union Jack looked ok but suffers from the weird bulky chest and pin-legs. Hand ninjas are kind of a let down. Hobgoblin and Green Goblin were both there and looked pretty sweet.

Nothing at all word mentioning Joe related, and it's all still full price.

I found one Ghost Hawk about a month ago at walMart in Puyallup, and should have bought it but didn't. Ah well.

I picked up the full set of Wave 4. Rulk is easily the best of the bunch. I think Union Jack is second best in the wave but I do agree about the pin legs. Hobgoblin is just a repaint of Green Goblin with a different head so meh. Blade has the Punisher body so again meh (dont' like the hands). Moon Knight is great though.


I found Ghost Hawk and Water Moccassin several months ago at a Toys R Us but haven't seen them since. I'm still looking for DVD pack #5 to finish my Mass Device. (It's getting pretty ridiculous).

Hey, quick thing actually regarding Star Wars. I have collected basically 99% of the Star Wars figures released since 1995 and being that I am an opener I have like a ton of Star Wars card backs and they were just basically opened, ya know, I didn't get out the razor blade and cut the bubbles off. Also, if there was a proof of purchase on the card I cut that off. Anyway, I have held on to these for years but now I gotta get rid of them and I feel bad just recycling them. Anyway, I tried to look around a couple of Star Wars sites for advice but I couldn't really find any good category for this situation. So, I ask you, my Joe brethren, what should I do?

Big Lots - nothing Joe related whatsoever

Wal-Mart - a single Scrap-Iron/Wild Bill comic pack, and some leftover Combat Heroes.

Target - clearanced Wild Bill, CC w/ element, and 2 Rippers, all at $4.88 (so retail a year ago!); they also had 3 clearanced Python Patrol jets at $17.88 a pop. Had some of the new RoC Combat Heroes (looks strikingly like the Hulk stuff from a bit ago). Nothing else of interest.

TRU - CG/Green shirt 5-packs at regular price; a bunch of the SRO packs; all the regular TRU stuff

All in all, found nothing remotely interesting, and no RoC stuff save the Combat Heroes at Target.

Hey all, new to the boards here, though I've been collecting Joe stuff off and on since the 80's. If you frequent the TFW2005 boards, I'm over there as well.

I was at the Tacoma Target today and they had four small vehicles, 2x each. I picked up a Mole Pod and left the rest. They also had the RoC Combat Heroes and a handful of figures like Ripcord, Sgt Stone, Zartan, Covergirl, Scarlet, Deep Six, Shipwreck, and 2 versions of Heavy Duty.

The Lakewood Target is all set, but no product. When I asked, I was told the street date was 7/10. I didn't feel like arguing about it that the Tacoma store had some stuff out already.

I've seen just about all of the single carded figures that are out (I think) but have yet to find the Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes (probably the one I want the most) and the unmasked Storm Shadow. Just confirmed that Factoria does not have the Paris Pursuit wave. I went in with the DPCI code (which may be wrong, it appears) and a nice employee pulled 4 boxes of figures for me. All of them were the basic SE/SS wave 1 figures. Hopefully these other figures will make an appearance in Washington soon.

It's a bit of a shame that Hasbro muddled the release plan by sliding the dates around. Of course I'm happy to have early access to the figures, but I think it dilutes the marketing launch a bit when the stores aren't all releasing at the same time. It could also affect some stores plans to order future waves if demand seems soft at first due to people having already hit up the early release stores. I'm specifically thinking about the impact this could have on Fred Meyer. They were slow to release the Wolverine movie figures and have pegs filled with them now. They also never seem to have gotten the later waves.

Yeah those Dark Trooper packs are gone at the Lacey Wal-Fart. They had the new exclusive 2 packs and 3 pack pilots there yesterday. I passed on the all. They are just a bunch of repainted, kit-bashed, repacks. They also had the new GI JOE 2 pack exclusives. I passed on them as well. I think I'm on my way to Completest recovery! The only thing I'm actually interested in getting now is the BAD figures, New Y-Wing, and that sweet looking AT-ST from Wal-Fart! I would have bought the Dark Trooper III figure separately, but I have no intention of buying a bunch of repacks/repaints just for his monkey butt. Hasblow, let the collectors get just the NEW figures! Sorry, I'm just frustrated about the whole thing.

Wal-Mart in Covington has the 2-pack Joe figures out in full force. Plenty of them there. Helix also-but I think she's becoming common all over the place. Super Wal-Mart in federal Way had a few new SW items. The Y-Wing was there... but $65 for a ship??? Maybe I was reading the wrong tag, but that was a little too pricey. At $35 I would have grabbed one...

The 2 packs were pretty lame. Why did they give Monkey Wrench a speargun? I like his vintage three prong gun! The vintage figure has way cooler colors too! I'm totally slowing down on all the new JOE and WARS toys. I will get those Wal-Fart 2 packs w/battle stations though. If the price is around $20. Happy hunting!

I saw the Wal-Fart 2 packs with Monkeywrench, but the vintage one looked better so I left it on the shelf too. Why does he come with the Eel's speargun? That's really messed up. I'm excited about Wave 5 like everybody else, but the pegs are looking really full just about everywhere. I think somebody overestimated the demand for waves 1-3...

I saw some in Aberdeen Wal-Fart. Is that the repainted Blowtorch wave? I looked at him for a minute, thought about the price point, then left him on the shelf. I did buy snake eyes with winter jacket though. I found the Black Snake Armor at Lacey Target about 2 months ago. That was the last thing I bought besides Snake Eyes. Is anyone going to buy the movie? I wish they'd re-release a wide screen blu ray version of the original movie, "Cobra Lalalalallaalala!"

I don't know what changed, but I suddenly found myself less excited about the ROC figures than I was a few months ago. I talked myself into returning the ROC senior officer packs and plan to return some of the other repaints that I have. I think I'm going to keep getting the figures that interest me, but I'm no longer a completist on the Joe line. There is just too much repainting going on, not to mention re-releasing the same characters (with slight-to-no real changes) as part of multi-packs, etc. If we actually see the Pursuit of Cobra figures, that might change my mind a bit. For some reason i find myself much more interested in the Marvel Universe figures right now (and yes - I know they repaint the heck out of those things too...).

That's the crazy thing for me. I found the CS Snake-Eyes, which I was feverishly looking for - and while I bought it and really like the figure, it didn't re-engergize me for collecting the line. I'm actualy kind of shocked...

Anyway - maybe the Pursuit of Cobra figures will get me pumped again if they end up looking half as nice as the promo pics from San Diego. That Beachhead fig looked awesome!

I kind of agree with another board that I read, my mood might be partly influenced by the overall economy. It just feels odd pursuing figures/hobbies when so much of the news is depressing and the job market is bad. Hopefully things are turning around, but I think that is having an impact.
