Tripwire (aka Long Time, No See)

Hallo thar! It's been a busy and HELLISH last 6 months since I last been able to get any Joe related artwork (or much artwork at all) done since I lasted posted here, but thats all changing, so greetings again to all, hope you've all been well!

This is my take on Tripwire, was done for a friend of mine.

Tiger Force repaint on the way.

I have been very slowly prepping new artwork so I can get a sort of rhythm going on releases, cause I have LOTS I want to do. LOTS of Joes on the way (other non-related to Joe stuff too, but I have sooo many Joes I want to do art of). Expect Cobra Commander, Flash and the original 82 Snake Eyes in the very near future, lots more to come after that.

There could definitely be a new G.I. Joe cartoon show made out of your drawings targeted for kids like the new Transformers Animated series is. Your drawings have the look and feel similar to that style.

looks good- the colors are spot on. It does have a bit of the "goat leg" syndome, but I guess that's more to the style and less to your take.

thanks! yeah Tripwire has always been wicked, never got a chance to get him when I was a kid but oh look! there's a 25th version (will have to buy) xD I should have Cobra Commander very soon, by the weekend, with the original Snake Eyes very shortly afterwards.

heehee goat leg, I like that :-P It's like a weird "dynamic curvy thing" of the legs, more of a style thing. or it just ended up like that and I'm making excuses xD but yeah I normally have a weird curve to the bodies more for stylistic effect or a "dynamic silhouette".

Punks was a fun one to do, it's ended up being pretty much the over-all all-time fave of the stuff I've done. Rumble & Frenzy RAWK.

lol and here I thought I was the only one who liked Spearhead :-)
Actually all 3 of those are guys I really want to do at some point. I pretty much liked all the joes & cobras from 82-89 so I do want to touch on all those years with a least a few from each. Whenever I get to try some of the 88's Spearhead, Shockwave, Blizzard & Muskrat will probably be the first ones I go for. Fond memories of all of em.
