How often are these going to be released, 3-4 a year, more, less?

The reason I ask is that I'm still on the fence as to whether I'm going to buy 2 of each or not. I've got a SE pre-ordered but I really want one to open. If they're going to be putting out 1 a month than no way can I afford 2 of each, but if they're quarterly I think I can make it work.

wowza 7 to 8?!...I can feel darth vader death grip on my wallet squeezing out ever last cent lol. I was pretty adamant about not getting the sideshow gijoe figures but I'm starting to like more of what I see.

I am just disappointed that the line is more focused on the Bradstreet designs. Maybe they will go back and do a traditional Cobra Commander. One can only hope. Vaderquest, I don't think this line will see 7-8 figures at years. I am thinking this line will be more like the Lord of the Rings Line. That line started fast too.

I'm somewhat inclined to agree, but I think sales will ultimately determine the amount of figures per year. If they start selling like hotcakes, then they will put several figures on the fast track.

Yeah,I also think that it's gonna be a slower line, I'm anticipatiing 3-5 a year, TOPS after the initial run. Also, for those of you not familior with sideshow's toys, they have very collector friendly pckageing, designed to be opened, played with, and put back in for storage, no twisty ties, not tape. you don't need to worry about having " one to open, one to keep MIP, unless you want a second one to sell later on down the line. "high end 1/6th" tend to keep their value open or in box, as long as the box is still with the figure.

I've lost a lot of faith in Sideshow over the past few years. I started out as a huge fan with their 1/6 scale Star Wars line. I have probably 16 figures or more at home but I'm not going to buy another. The prices went from $49.99 to now $60.00 for the same type of item. Snake Eyes comes out at $89.99 but there's enough weapons to justify that. I wouldn't be surprised to see Cobra Commander released with nothing but his Hair Dryer laser or a serpent staff and still go for the same price.

Well they gave a glimpse in earlier teasers on what to expect as far as accessories with cc. There's no way I'm puting these off. Sideshow does some impressive work!

Yeah, from those earlier pic's, the "hair dryer" gun is going to the exclusive accessory. I said I was only getting certain characters(already got SE preordered), but I like the earlier concepts of CC, so I may be getting him too.
