dif colored guns for wave 2 cobra soldier

i'm a newbie cause i got roped in by the awesome 25th anni figs

i was wondering before i opened mine if the wave 2 cobra soldier is packed out equally with the solid black gun and the black and brown gun or if one is more rare like the black timber

I've only seen the brown/blk ones and that is the one i'm pretty sure what they are suppose to come with. The solid black is definetly a variant.

But the solid-black is definitely the variant, I don't know if it's rarer but it's different.

Rare indeed!!! I have 19, and none of them have a solid black rifle! I purchased all of them at Wal-Mart...does anyone know where he purchased this variant?

DUDE! I'm from Fort Madison! Moved to the ass end of toy distribution in Oklahoma though....

But more than likely, it is a simple paint error, someone at the factory missed painting a figure and it got out into the line.

Unlike the black timbers (which have a completely different paint mask), this is just a case of an extra layer of paint not being added.

Nope, not an ebay fan. I just wasn't going to get caught with my pants down like I did with the Cobra Officer. I found all of those in a 24hr time period at several Wal-Marts in my area. You have to strike while the iron is hot..ya know?

Has anybody seen or found another one yet? I picked up two more Troopers last night and neither of them had the solid black rifle.

Not to play the devil's advocate, but did anyone else notice that the Cobra 5-Pack Cobra Trooper has a solid black rifle?
