Mindbender and Baroness = yes. Destro maybe comes back as a half robot, half human.

I don't think there will be a renegades season 2 because they are no longer renegades. They have proved cobra to be a corrupt organization. If anything there is now an origin story for the Joe team and next hasbro can work on a new toon based on the foundation that renegades laid.

Yep agreed! They did a good job, but they can now form the joe team and move in any direction they want. Hopefully they keep a lot from renegades.

They can get rid of the biovipers and there rendition of Firefly though.

not a perfect ending but a good one. found it kinda silly that Flint and Lady jay were off to meet a "enemy" tank in their dress uniforms. also the whole scarlets dad thing was kinda meh for me.

I think they made it where no one was definitively dead, so it's possible that all of our favorite bad guys could be back, assuming there is a season 2. Of course, I'd like to see Firefly again. And I'd like to see the Joes who had cameos join the team. I don't want the team to be super-huge where they can't have but just a few characters high-lighted every show. That's what i thought was wrong with ARAH, because some characters were over-done while others never really got developed.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

At the very least, the next toon should build upon what Renegades laid out. It seems solid enough a foundation to me.

I wonder if they'd use the same art style in the next toon, though, now that Clem is gone. I hope they at least use many of his designs (like those of Scarlett, Mindbender, Bludd, Jinx, Zartan, etc.) as the foundation for the future toon's designs. I've really come to love many of the designs.

But this WAS something new. It's scarcely been out for a half a year. It has so much potential, and it was such a good way of re-establishing a lot of the characters. It would be a complete waste to kill the show now. It's better than any of the other post 90's Joe series' to date, not counting Resolute.

I couldn't help but wonder what did he eat/drink. Was the worm hole timeless? And why could he only communicate to her at that particular moment in the show, why not sooner?

I think it was a good storyline and I'm glad it's over. I wouldn't mind seeing a similarly animated show spawn from the events in Renegades.

Just as long as Rip "Ben-10" Cord gets cured from that whole stupid stretch armstrong thing and Storm Shadow stops looking like a sloppy retard.

I really hope that they will make a continuation of this show. I don't think it will be called Renegades though. I can see Destro, Baroness, and Mindbender coming back. The show was really well done.

I believe the orginal plan was for season 1 to be renegades, with season to being a different title (Just like power rangers & every cartoon since)

Over the next year they will play the heck out of the episodes to promote interest. As Joe2 develops they will know if they have a flop on their hands or not. If it looks bad for Joe2 then we might see a season 2, If Joe 2 looks good I would expect a series based on that, with renegades influences.

With that one guy they lost it will be hard to replace his talent, maybe even wrong to do so since he inspired the look and feel of the characters, be bad to get some guy who tries to copy and repro his work, so I say let his work R.I.P and let it be what it was for those that liked it.

Time for another new direction, Hasbro lieks to do this every year anyway.

I can't help but feel if it dosent return like with the way Resolute was canned, you can feel some of that angst that burned us that lost what we thought was also NEW and had great potential...all for the waste time that was ROC...
