First off you have 'the Last Detail' With Jack Nicholson. Might as well be called 'Shipwreck the Movie' (I know the movie came before shipwreck).
Infact the voice actor who did the voice for shipwreck (Neil 'Neilson' Ross) was quoted saying that Nicholsons character was the 'main inspiration' for the voice of Shipwreck. You can read about it, as well as hear an audio clip here http://www.grave-diggers.com/gijoe.htm
Nicholson as 'Buddusky' AKA 'Shipwreck' *Contains Adult language* http://youtube.com/watch?v=e-k0d8G2Iqs&feature=related

The second film that comes to mind is Predator. At least GI.Joe fans can't help be reminded of Spirit when watching this film. Here's 'Billy' AKA 'Sprit' in a clip from 'Predator' http://youtube.com/watch?v=8XfH1G1j5qs&feature=related
If you stretch the imagination one can see a host of 'Joes' in this ensemble cast. From 'Stalker' to 'Gung Ho', and so on. Minus of coars The Predator it's self.

Yeah, Predator is the first movie that comes to mind. Also the TV show called The Unit is kinda Joe like.
I also have to now rent that Jack Nicholson movie because I was laughing so hard thinking he was Shipwreck.

if joe were made in 1994..........street fighter
thank god joe wasnt made in '82 or '94.
and sportingviper is correct...
if you look at predator youve got some very joe-esque characters in there...
ramirez would be flint
billy would be spirit
mac would be stalker
blaine would be gung ho
hawkins comes across as short fuze/grunt
and i guess dutch would have to be duke

and Predator is Storm Shadow!! ;)
I would say Sergeant Epps and Captain Lennox from Transformers were very Roadblock and Flint/Duke.
But closest to a Joe movie so far I guess would be Predator/Aliens if it was merged with x-men and not R-rated and not with any aliens....ummmm yeh so not alot like them atall i guess!

I think a couple of movies that kind of have a GI Joe "Special Missions" feel to them --
Bruce Willis "Tears of the Sun" and 1996's "Executive Decision"

This scene from 'the Life aquatic' reimnds me of Joe as well, albeit in a very ironic fashion. http://youtube.com/watch?v=xbSghPrDyj0
Very 'Live the Adventure'

Transformers. Especially the scene where they are fighting Scorpionik in the desert.
I imagine a movie about Snake-Eyes and Stormshadow would be like Kill Bill with men.

Pretty much every James Bond movie, particularly the early ones where the enemy is SPECTRE.
Which reminds me, this song from "The World Is Not Enough" by Garbage always made me think of Destro and the Baroness.

Kill Jill? :)
Shin Densetsu

I am thinking more along the lines of Commando(only less corny), and Delta Force(without the main theme song playing every 5 minutes).

Kill Jill? :)
Something like that, yeah. :)
I would also pick Black Hawk Down for what I would wish a GI Joe movie would be like. Unfortunately, they seem to be treating this like a comic book movie, when I think GI Joe is much more than just super-soldiers in spandex.

Who was the guy who got "busted up real bad", Was that Ramirez? Cause I always saw him more as Recoil, and Blaine...yeah a cross between Gung Ho, Leather Neck, and Recondo...Everyone else is spot on.

And why hasn't anyone mentioned Navy Seals???
C'mon...Charlie Sheen...Lt. Falcon????
Michael Biehn...Duke?

I used to use my joes to be the predator guys.
I used Recondo for Jesse Ventura's character because of the hat. I used the side car gun from the Ram for the big daddy he used in the movie.
Mercer looks like Arnold.
Billy was of course Spirit.
I forget the rest.

Transformers, any scene with the military dudes. I wish the G.I.Joe movie would be cool enough to use real world gear like that.

I had thought about looking up the name to see if I had spelled it right, but then thought to myself, "Who's gonna care?" :)

When I saw "The Departed" for some reason it reminded me of the GI Joe Episode "Dusty Traitor"
Reimagine that movie with GI Joe characters. I can picture Wahlberg as Beachhead and DiCaprio as Falcon. The other roles would likely be recast. (SOme of you are thinking, what a crazy imagination).
Predator reminded me of the Joes since that unit had guys who reminded me of specific Joes like Breaker, Stalker, Spirit, Gung Ho and Roadblock. Hard to say which Joe Arnold would be representing.
Saw "the Kingdom" just last night. I can envision Foxx as Stalker and Garner as Scarlett.

HAHAHAHA...he said megaforce....ROTFLMAO....
I think if we're talking vintage joe then I'd go towards Attack Force Z but if you are talking ARAH then yeah megaforce did have some strange aspects that I can't argue with.

I'd say Bloodsport cause I could see Tommy or Snake going awol to take part in a tournament in the name of the honor of their sensei.

Doc sounds like Samuel Jackson to me,,,,
I'm ashamed to admit that after watching "Megaforce" at my '82 birthday party, Breaker spent a lot of time flying around on the RAM (minus sidecar). Hey, the movie bike didn't have real wings either!
