The Cobra Desert Ops Trooper: Sniper shows estimated ship date of August 2011. It is showing as "Item Shipping Soon" - anyone get an e-mail regarding payment processing?

Just wondering if this is shipping early part of August or end...trying to budget for what's to come from Sideshow:

I think I will wait on him, getting a bit tired of the same figures with different outfits, too expense to get thenm all, I think I will wait until they drop in price a bit, got a cobra officer and sniper for around $50-$60 MIB each

Yeah I am going to pass on this guy. I think it would be cool if I was going to get the desert environment with Dusty and stuff but since I dont have that much space and this guy is a re-color I have to let it go. Even though I think the figure is awesome.

As long as they only roll out one a month I won't break my budget for these. This was a bad (good) month with Stalker, Ninja Viper and a wait list Beachhead.

I'm passing on him for now, but he looks great with the Dusty fig & enviroment. I hope Sideshow continues with a Joe item a month.

Just got an email from Jeff Dean @ SSC...If you preordered the Desert Ops Sniper, he has arrived early and is ready to ship out early (just like Stalker last month). Just an FYI if you need to complete your desert environment diorama.

I will wait to pay mine at the end of the month when it is scheduled to process...can only afford one of these a month!

Dang...was hoping Viper would hit next month to avoid end-loading a ton of figures in Nov/Dec (pre-Xmas shopping season). Oh well...I guess more time to save.
