This past week my family and I vacationed on Sandbridge beach in Virginia. My son Sean and I were playing with our Sigma 6 Joes (as we do frequently) on the beach. We took turns burying them, making fox holes, sand caves and castles. I took Spirit down to the shore to rinse him off after a particularly rough battle and tossed him in the water at the shore line. BAD idea, the surf took him out and tossed him around. I felt terrible for what I had done. We spent hours looking for him in the water and sand. I woke early the next few mornings hoping that he would be washed ashore. I can only hope that a little boy down the beach found him and gives him a good home. Again my son and I love playing with the Sigma 6 Joes and we both wish that Hasbro would bring them back. I'm writing this because , I'm home in NY now and I know that Spirit Iron Knife will be missed.

IndyJoe, I feel bad saying this--but that's one of the dumbest things I can think to do with a 'Joe figure. What were you thinking throwing him into the ocean?!

You have inspired me. Tomorrrow my son and I shall have a Sigma6 day. I too really like them. The accessories are all so cool. Now buy that boy another Spirit!

Sorry about the loss, but just buy a new one! S6 stuff is still pretty inexpensive.

Thanks for your comments guys. It was really stupid to toss Spirit into the water on my part. I don't know why I had to post anything online. I just had to because of the good memories Sean and I have. I'll definately buy another. I have no doubt. It's just that one had memories attached and every paint rub and scrape had meaning. I'm just a sentimental fool who still plays with toys. Sean and I have Indiana Jones and Star Wars figures along with other scale figures we play with but we seem to have the most fun with Sigma 6 Joes.

You named your son Sean, you're a winner in my book.

Davey Jones, Peter Tork, Micky Dolenz, all the Monkeys had lockers! Sounds like a fun day though, except for the loss of course.

Man I feel your pain. I remember going to Wildwood when I was six. I was playing with my Hulk Hogan fig from back in the day. Throwing him in the air and what not. Then I lost him...never found him. I wonder is he's still there somewhere, or if he washed on shore or if a diver found him...that was 25 years ago.
