World of Tanks

Is anyone else here playing this? Its one of the 'free to play' micro transaction type games. Covers tanks from the late 30's to later 40's, most are real types with several prototypes or paper ideas thrown in as well. Russian, German and American tanks are in game now, with French and British to be added later. Nice sim-lite tank warfare type of game. If you are a bit of a tread head, its worth checking out for free. My computer is nothing fancy and I am able to run it fine after tweaking the graphics settings. Careful though as it bit my collector bug and I know have a garage full of tanks.

During the great EVE Online protest of 2011, I was playing WoT for a bit with fellow Goons but I've largely gone back to EVE now that the protest appears to be largely over.

my boy downloaded it but for some reason it never would run. the "play now" button just brought it back to the download screen. looked like it would be fun, but gave up on trying to figure out how to run it :(

I originally had a problem installing it, but after running some good spy/adware programs the install worked for me.
