oh those, well these are simple customs since i found that the citystrike destros, replaced them with resolute cobra heads and alley viper headgear. I lacked one so i just placed a painted from Knockdown. They make swell army builds :)

Dude, cut the guy some slack, the reviewer is from the Philippines. Anyone outside the U.S. that collects GI Joes is an awesome thing indeed.

i like the old school trooper rifle, never had any trouble getting my troops to hold it. the web gear on this one is the only problem to me- the officer gear would have been much better.

Neat review and good pics. My only complain on this guy is his lower legs don't quite match his uppers - the textures are off or something. As neat as he is though I just don't feel the desire to army build him to replace the earlier troopers. The Resolute Trooper remains my favorite update to the classic.

Oh yes they are..actually I borrowed from them and in exchanged repainted it to a more burnt city building look. If i recall right, they used it for Gothic Serpent, and they walls were made by a member named hailed.

Great Review.. and the accessories are cool, but in trying to keep with the ARAH look but updated, these guys will not make it in my Joe Verse... I will use the Shock Troopers as I LOVE that figure...yet I have not opened any of the 6 or so I have...and the 25th Troopers will be office troopers, while my Resolute Troopers are still my updated version of the Trooper.

Problem is with the silencer, it can be easily misplaced. All of them are already sold out during the toycon. A lot of panic Filipino buyers, hay !!!! It is very difficult in finding then in Greenhills or in Gtoys. Hoping that Hasbro will stay with this line of figures from now on.

Nice review and nice pics. Personally, I love this figure and I want at least 12 of them. Hasbro mentioned that it would be a carry over figure into the 30th line with a slight repaint. I am hoping for a silver emblem, that way I can have a nice Viper Pilot as well. :)

Very true it sold out at Toycon, counting the difficulty for POCs anywhere else in manila makes our chances really slim.

Still not seeing the new wave in stores. Their doing road work by Target and not much point going there and putting up with the hassle. Then i was there once and the Joes were bare with older wave figures. Still just seeing Shock Troopers in stores.

Great pics bro. Also, just like snake eyes, this cobra trooper's knee pads are upside down. They are removeable so it is an easy fix.

-the orangutan hand
-the hunchback
-the helmet will not stay on ( I had to Rambo one of the little plastic binding loops on his head to keep the helmet on)
-Pistol does not fit the holster
-Two pistols, one holster- gross
-Barbed wire?

I love the new PoC Shock Trooper and the Viper but I'm not sure about this Trooper yet. I do think that this is a great reuse of the new PoC parts. I'm not sure if the PoC version is any better than the 25th Trooper that I have now. He's too similar to justify retiring my 25th army. I may end up buying some to create Shock Trooper officer's though.

I didn't care about this figure at first, just saw it as rehash like so many of the kenner potf2 figures being made again and again with better articulation and bankrupting my ass as I buy the same figure over and over, and over.

But seeing these pics really makes me want about 10 of these guys now. I love this figure. I love the helmet, I love the head, the entire body just looks SO much better. I think I'll stick my 15 25th cobra soldiers inside vehicles and in gun turrets, and use these guys as my infantry.

The only thing that could make this figure even better would be some goggles perched on top of his helmet... WANT!!!!

I enjoyed your review, I like this helmet soooo much better than the 25th one. I wish they'd give the blueshirts a removable pistol on the suspenders. Don't know if I can troop build these, I only recently found shock troopers.
