I'm still busy reading the Marvel stuff but I saw Croc Master on the new cover and that was pretty much my cue to pick stuff up.
I plan on buying that issue, what else should I get to make sense of that arc? Where do I start?
Also I saw some pretty awesome artwork that had Big Boa in something that looked recent. What was that? Would you recomend tracking it down if you're a Boa fan?
Thanks in advance!

Hey, VP.
The Croc Master cover I think that you are referring to is from the current series (v2) of GI Joe: Cobra #2. I think all you really need is to pick up #1 to understand what is going on. There are, of course, two other series, GI Joe, and Snake Eyes, that just started, if you feel like picking that up. All three deal with the Cobra Civil War. But Costa's series was fairly stand-alone the first volume; this volume will hopefully be the same.
As for Big Boa..that was actually Cobra v1. I think he was in the last three issues #11-13. If you ARE a Boa fan, than yeah, he's actually both likable and an ass-kicker there. Plus those last issues (#13 was the last issue of Cobra v1.) sets up the Cobra Civil War.
I would actually recommend getting the whole Cobra v1 series. Very strong writing.
