Dial Tone and dog food

Maybe my mind is playing tricks. Wasn't there an episode where Dial Tone was discharged from the Joes and was living in a small crappy apartment and living off dog food? I swear I remember that. I can't remember much else about the story but I clearly remember that. Any help clearing that up is appreciated.

yes,there is an episode where he gets let go from the joes and is seen eating out of a can.doubt it's dog food though.

I found it. Sins of our Fathers from season 2. I'll have to watch it again, but I could have sworn something gets said about him eating dog food.
