I went to see WALL-E today and was blown away at how good it was. I've never seen a movie this good, seriously, it's awesome!!!!! I can't put into words how amazing this movie is. I've never been this satisfied so much by a film. It's great, even though it's a kid's movie, go to your car, drive to the movie theater, buy a ticket, and be utterly amazed!!!!!!!!! :D

I'm going to take my kids to see this next week. I was going to wait until it came out on DVD but the great reviews have compelled my to see it in the theater.

I liked it OK. My son (8) thought it was great and it's at the top of his summer movie list (surpassing even Incredible Hulk and the other 5 or 6 summer movies we've seen since Iron Man) I thought it was a little on the 'green' side: "save the earth from the big companies" and all... And a little more of MO would have been fun :) But a fun summer flick. 4 out of 5 Yo joes! :)

my kids and i will see it the week after july 4th weekend. son is 13 daughter is 11 and none of us want to be there opening weekend...inevitably there will be a 4 yr old somewhere within earshot that will have to verbally identify wall-e EVERY time hes onscreen for the first half hour....we'll wait until the initial crowds have seen it.

With all the movies coming out this year, Wall-E has been on the very top of my must-see list, ever since I first saw the extended trailer online back on March 14th. More so than Wanted, IronMan, Hulk, Hancock, DarkNight, and HellBoy2. (Wanted is nothing like the book, but still looks very entertaining.)

while there are thought provoking deper notions explored in the movie, the main story is one both parents and kids can enjoy. it was a thoroughly enjoyable movie, well worth the cost of the ticket.
there are slow parts, or slower than the rest and some cheesey moments but overall, it ranks up there with toy story for sure. what helps is, it's only 90+ minutes long which helps when you have little kids with you.

LOL yeah :D, I saw it noon on a week day, not the best time to avoid toddlers and other small kids :)

Ghost Dad or Leonard Part 6? Now that is a debate for the ages.

Saw this yesterday with the family. The story was nice, but the thing I loved the most was that they didn't hit you over the head trying to explain everything. With no exposition at all for the first 30 minutes, they knew the audience was smart enough to figure everythign out on their own. I really loved it. I do think that there wasn't much for younger kids to link to. My youngest is two and she loves robots but fell asleep half way through. My five year old liked it a lot, but it didn't build the kind of excitement in her that she got from Kung Fu Panda.

Yes Indeed, Ghost dad is a fantastic flick.
Watching that movie in it entiredity will make you feel as if the COS came over your house, drugged you with several different types of cold remedies and sleeping agents took advantage of you in every way shape and form and left you feeling completely satisfied.
But you need not take my word for it. Have a look see yourself..............

My family and I caught a 4:30 showing yesterday and even though there was a lot of kids the theater was quiet....except for the laughter! My 4yr old was captivated by show. We all loved it. Actually, the most annoying kids were teens to our left. That was where the "WALL-E" kept sounding off. Go see it!

Looking forward to seeing Wall-E with my three-year old son.
And not to go too far off topic here, but this whole thread is part of the reason I just became a HissTank member. It's kind of cool that you can discuss other things that interest you. I have only posted once before, and hope to get more involved as time goes on. Overall, HissTank seems to be home to some good threads and good information, and I look forward to being able to help others as you all have indirectly helped me over the past few weeks.

Just got home from seeing Wall-E with my girlfriend. We both really enjoyed it a lot. So far for summer 2008, I'd say it's my favorite movie (with Iron Man a close 2nd). I don't know if it's my favorite Disney-Pixar movie (all of them are good), but it's definitely in my Top 3 now.
