I know that we are normally weeks if not months behind the rest when it comes to getting action figures.

The Antioch Wal-Mart (Hickory Hollow Mall Area) has about 10 each of the 5 packs, and all of the new 8 Inchers including the ones with the animals. They also had the 12 inch figures as well (looked like at least 2 different ones) several of each. The KB in Hickory Holl has the 5 packs at least 10 - 15 each. Target in Hickory Hollow has 2-5 of the 5 packs each and normally has a few of the singles and some 8 inchers. Target in Donelson has the Single packs and a few of the 5 Packs. Hermitage Wal Mart has both 5 Packs and Singles. The TRU in Madison (Rivergate Mall) has all of the above except the 12 inchers.

Hope this helps any TN collectors looking.

No Black Timbers found at all. Thinking the stockers are scalping them...

Stopped by a Wal Mart this morning in Sevierville, Tn with my son and, BAM!!! Wave 5! I snagged 2x Crimson Guard, and one of each of the rest. Looks like they had only one case, though. However, they had joes aplenty...six pegs worth to be exact! My best estimation was about 6 cases in all! All the figs were present and accounted for, except for Flint and Zartan. This is great!! Looks like Hasbro is coming through for Christmas!

nice score. hit roughly 25 different stores in a 300 mile circle here in western pa, and no wave 5 at all, and only 1 each of wave 4 minus destro and airtrooper, so my odds aren't so hot yet lol

The CG's are awesome! Haven't opened Snowjob, IG Destro, or Flash yet. Skipped on the black SE...We've got 6 different versions of him and, to be honest, we're kinda over it! (That coming from a SE fan!) All in all, these things are great!!

Target on Spottswood seems to be getting new shipments in every few days.
They had a CG in the stockroom and were kind enough to get it for me. I'm hoping they'll put the rest of that assortment on the pegs this coming week. Clearance was down to 75% and the 5 or so remaining Legion packs were gone.

Walmart in West Memphis had nothing except one Cobra trooper and a Destro/Breaker two pack.

Just thought I'd post. Hit 3 of 4 Targets in the Knoxville area today. If you want comic pack wave 1, you're set. If you want anything else, you're screwed. Singles, I found Ripper, Stalker, hooded CC, and black SE. No 5 packs at all. Didn't check WM or TRU. Happy hunting!

I just hit Target on Spottswood in Memphis again. They had some peg warming Beachheads, Hooded CCs and Stalkers, as well as all the first wave comic packs. I found a sympathetic stocker who went to the back and brought out an entire case of 2008 Wave 1 figs. I bought one of each, and there are several more of each left on the pegs.

The new all black SE looks great!

if you are in Memphis and just cross the state line into Southaven/Horn Lake you can find wave 5 at Target. Or you could two days ago. I didn't look yesterday or today. They were case fresh. The box was still on their stockcart.

Mostly just wave 2&3 singles and wave 1 comic pks here in the Knoxville area right now. Haven't done too well at WMs. Target seems to be restocking them more often for some reason. IF you DO need wv 2 or 3, and you're in the neighborhood, the Target in Maryville has pretty much all of them except Serpentor!

Just wanted to give a shout out to all the Tenn locals! I spent most of my childhood spending my summers in Pigeon Forge (my dad owned a shop in Dollywood), and spent a lot of time in the mountains (Laconte, Chimneys, etc.) and traveling to Knoxville and Gatlinberg.

Lotta good memories in those areas, and a LOT of nice people!

The toy manager scanned the labels and said that here were none in the warehouse, but he had them ordered.

Mid-South Collectors:
Wal-Mart in Munford (just north of Memphis) had all 4 wave 3 comic packs. I picked up WW/Ace, Twins, and the CG/Scarred Officer packs. I passed on the SS/SE pack. Meh.
The others look good and will be opened later on tonight.
Oh, there are at least one of each left. No scalping for me this week.

Hey, spacemonkey, I was thinking maybe we could divide and conquer. Which stores do you frequently check? I hit the South Knox WM (on Chapman HWY) and the Maryville/Alcoa WMs and Target!

I actually found a Torch/Ripper comic pack today at the K-Mart over by Foothills Mall area. It's an extra so if anyone finds any wv3 comic packs and needs this one, I'd be happy to trade!

Did see Wave 4 at Turkey Creek Walmart today 4:20 PM. Had one Air Trooper and at least 3 of the rest (Duke, SS, Destro, CC, Scarlett, Gung Ho, Road Block).

Anyone near Clarksville? I've been trying my best to go to the 3 Wal-marts here and looking all the time for the single card joes. They always seem to just have Cobra Commander though. I'm going to check TRU and Target today or tomorrow. I want to see if target has any of the vehicles in yet.

Hey Knoxvillians!! East Town TRU has the new 5 packs. 2 Night Watch Patrols and 2 SE vs. Red Ninjas. Saw these around 730 tonight. Also, if you hit the collectible show at the I75 Expo center, you can pick up pretty much all the loose figs (minus variants) for $8 each. Also, for you vintage carded guys, there was quite a bit of nice carded original Joes there, too. I bit pricey for my broke self, but nice none the less. Wish I'd had the cash.

Yep, sure did! They had both packs. Haven't found any chain of command packs yet, though! Also, April 13th is definately the release date for those Target exclusives. I talked to a customer service rep there on Tuesday, and she confirmed it! I was able to give her the "my son has a birthday" speech and she got me the night spector w/ Grand Slam, but that's all she could give me. What sucks is I have Drill this weekend so I'll probably miss out:( Oh, well! I'm only really interested in the AWE Striker w/Crankcase so maybe I'll get lucky!

I had to go in there at 1 AM and take the one case (8 figs) off the pallet.....one case??? Maks no sense to me at all. No wonder they are so hard to find and get bought up real quick. I mean this was the breakdown......1 Duke, Spirit, Hiss Driver, Wild Bill.....2 SE, Vipers. I cant be at Wally World Every Truck night at 1AM.....i had to take today off just so i would be there last night. Anyway good luck to you and your search...I was hoping to find xtras for some of you in TN but I do have a MOC Viper and one open that i dont think i want anymore..........the hands and feet suck!!!!

UPDATE! Semi happy birthday to me! Got senconds on some cases at the east town WM. Picked up 2 Vipers, Bill, Duke, and Spirit. Had a Hiss driver, but his paint looked like crap. No Bludd, but something like 6 SEs. Nothing at Target. Happy hunting, and hopefully I'll find a Bludd soon.

Normally I wouldn't post under here since I live in Georgia, but I went to Pigeon Forge this weekend and stopped at the walmart. Jackpot! Scored a Wild Bill, Spirit, 2 Vipers and a Snake Eyes..Got so excited, I walked off to the groceries to get what I came there for, then thought I'll go back and get the rest (2 snake eyes and a duke) for somebody else and when I got there, they were gone!

I asked the girl working there who was helping a weird looking guy buying some star wars if she had anymore of the joes, she said, "No, and we can hardly keep them on the shelf."

I just picked up a regular black Hiss at a wal-mart in Clarksville, TN.

if anybody is searching in the Memphis area for wave 9 the best bet in finding them is to cross the state line and go into Southaven, I've found wave 9 twice here. I expect another shipment to be put out tonight at both Target and Walmart.

Have not had luck with Wave 9 in ClarksVegas, but they are showing up in Nashville. WM is getting more of these than Target, which is opposite of the last wave here in Nashville.

A couple weeks ago I was at the Knox TRU and the Turkey Creek WM and Target when the new vehicles(Vamp, Trubble Bubble wave) started showing up and noticed that someone had swiped figures out of the packs. I first noticed it at WM where the Televiper had been switched out. I reported it and handed to an employee in customer service but I'm not sure if she took me seriously. Then at target and TRU both, Clutch was taken out of the Vamp set. It's frustrating when the people accepting the return don't notice that the big picture on the back of the box shows an obviously different figure than that being returned. I guess its easy to bs an employee that probably doesnt care or know all that much about them.

Yeah ive seen that Vamp for weeks now......

On a side note saw wave 5 Comic Packs at Turkey Creek Target today 8:45 AM........got Trippy, CC and Nemesis ENFORCER, Falcon.

Got one of each with two left of each and 2 of the Destro, IG pack.

I left both Destro packs....did look for a blackhead Version....none.

Then saw Wave 9 minus any Bats or Snow Serpents........Store opens at 8.....so someone had been there are stocker got those 4..........

Cool I'll have to hit up Turkey Creek tomorrow.

I checked out TRU and the nearby Target. Nothing to be seen cept wave 7 restock at Target minus HISS Driver.

Luckily I got a call from my bro in PA an hour later and he scored me a Hawk, Bat, and BBQ at a walmart that ever has anything...

Ah, I'm not too worried when it comes to comic packs they always seem to linger for a good while.

I never walk into any of the WMs in Knox anymore with expectations of finding anything. The Walker Springs WM hasnt had anything really since Sigma 6 went out.

I just moved to Knoxville off of Cedar Bluff but Ive been around for a few years.

My wife snagged a BMD-IG comic pack at the Sevierville WM this evening. Also picked up the Falcon-Nemesis Immortal CP as well. No single figs though. She said they had a couple left but no BMD. That was the only one. Just thought I'd let you guys know!
