Actors do sometimes get put on gap orders about what they've been working on. Besides, I don't like to know the whole movie before it comes out, even if I DO know most of the history of the series.

As others have said, we don't know that he isn't allowed to talk much about the film. I saw an interview last night with an actor where basically all he could say is that he's in the movie and when it's coming out (I think it was an old interview for The Happening)

Besides, heaven forbid he should actually promote the movie that's hitting theatres instead of the one that's still filming

I don't understand the not being able to discuss projects. He should stated so instead of bsing and wasting the reporter's time. It was clear she could care less about the movie he has coming.

He's not a jerk at all, honestly. He's paid and contracted to talk up his current flick. I feel bad for the guy, because he's probably going to have to deal with Joe questions when he's promoting the new "Mummy" film too. Meanwhile, Marlon Wayans is probably DYING for people to ask him questions:)

did you see the big poster to his right?......hes there to promote that movie..........the only one wasting time is that airhead "reporter".

clearly you dont understand a thing about movies and press junkets and things like movie promotion.

I think the reporter was wasting his time. She seemed like she was on something. Total ditz. Im surprised Brendan stayed for the interview.

It's a two lane road. More than likely there was an agreement to interview about his other movie, and she decided to not be professional and start asking questions about something she's not supposed to. It's a waste of his time as well. It's probaby as much a waste of his time if he has a gag order which I'm sure he doess.

gag order or not....hes there to make his current movie successful.
and guess what? after this one, he'll be promoting Mummy 3 and probably STILL not talking Joe.

quite frankly, if his role in Joe is as small as weve heard...i really doubt he'll do any promo at all for it.

and people, can we please stop using the words "reporter" and "professional" in this thread!!

I have long speculated Cobra has a connection to the Freemasons/Illuminati/New World Order. I hope this will be reveald in the movie (doubt it will) How else would you explain Cobras unparalleled power.

With Cobras heavy reliance on Symbolism, and Hierarchy, it would be a natural to lump them in with the free Masons.

yes, he's the one bs'ing because he wants to talk about the movie he is starring in, was there to promote, and whose success will effect his ability to get future quality projects, as opposed to a film he has a mere cameo in.

He should just told her I can't discuss that and move on instead of wasting valuable time.

I really think that the thing of greatness that is being overlooked here is Sgt. Slaughters amazing early warning signs of a beergut/goofy outfit in the picture. Reminded me of why I love the bastard....and how the whole movie needs to be nothing but him fighting those amazingly cool drug dealer terrorist things from the 90's. That would be SOOO much better than whatever Stephen "never made a good movie...ever" Summers is putting out.
