(One thing I am noticing with peoples entries is that a lot of them dont have a story to fit them into the rescuing doc theme! So I wrote my own to go with the customs. Some of the pics I have kinda suck Ill try to take better ones before the deadline if I have time. Just so theres no confusion my entries will be listed out after my little story)

Prior to Operation Rescue Doc, Cobra had launched its own highly successful operation to capture Doc. This involved 2 highly secretive elite special forces within cobras Night Vipers and Alley Vipers. They are known as the Spectres and the Razors respectively.

The operation involved 2 parts.

Razors:
The razors would storm the building in which Doc was. They had stolen a US MH-6 Littlebird, and used it to land ontop of the building and deliver part of their force, Blitz, Mouse-holer, Diao Chan, and Painter. Their demo specialist Mouse-holer had blown a hole into the roof and the squad dropped flashbangs and descended into the room where Doc was, surgically and proficiantly killing everyone except Doc. They quickly bound him and flew off in the chopper to safety.

(ummm ignore the wallpaper and shelf and the red ninjas leg, Ill try to take a better shot of the team and the heli if I have time, I was in a rush so had to take the picture of my shelf the way it was)

Spectres:
The Spectres job was to hit the Joes main security complex in the area, thus handicaping any response the Joes may send after the Razors and their prize. They were to knock out the power of the building first, then hit the personel, systems, and finally setting demo charges in the building. The Joes didnt know what hit them...

The Spectres have highly advanced gear. Their optics allow them to see in darkness far better then any other known night vision. The Spectres color patches on their gear, are specially designed to glow a bright color when viewed by other Spectres night vision goggles, thus giving them an advantage in seeing where their fellows are.

(left to right, Death-Night, Demon-Night, Terror-Night)

They also love to use fear tactics, they can switch on their goggles and optics to emit light and in the darkness look like demonic eyes, they like to turn them off and on thus giving them the apperance of "Spectres".
(from my teaser in the customs section I had originally photoshopped in the glowing eyes, but with glow in the dark paints I made it a reality)

Some members even adapt their gear to be able to emit light, making their visage a ghostly and terrifying view in the darkness.

Can you imagine the fear of this Spectre coming towards you in the dark? (This is Dread-Night)
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q307/NeoDragonKnight/spectregid.jpg
then suddenly dissapear as he turns off his light emiters only to be right infront of you in the next moment?

This Spectre in the light.(he doesnt look as good in the light compared to the regular paitned ones, b/c the GID green paint is really light color and a bit gritty/rubbery)

Some people think Dread-Night is an easy target since he basically gives a target...Dread-Night actually wants you to think that way (though his fellow spectres think hes suicidal). He flickers his light emitters on to show his position and visage, and turns it off and relocates right away. You start shooting at where he was and he flickers again in another position and quickly relocates, making you wonder where he will be next...this goes on several times, where he appears and disapears like a spectre/ghost, most likely right next to you before he shows himself one last time (for the sole purpose to see the surprise on his victims face) before he kills his prey. The other spectres only go as far as their flickering glowing demonic eyes, but Dread-Night goes all out.

I just want to note that I had originally made the 3 team spectres with out the GID paint, when I did ge tthe paint I decided not to just paint over their existing schemes because I really liked how they looked. So I made an entirely knew figure using the GID paint instead. I will try another Spectre using the red GID paint next (the one used in Demon-Nights eyes and scope)

I bought online at www.readysetglo.com, their paint is of medium quality IMO though, the ones I wanted wouldnt ship international. When you buy, there are various light properties you have to look for, ie. glow powder to paint distribution (powder/crystals is what makes it glow and what makes it so gritty, and brightness), I bought below the standard of what I wanted, but I am happy with my final product.
