!!!MAJOR SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD!!!!!!

Well, a few of us have read the script now, and I really dug it. Its really got that "techno conan" feel to it that I though a He Man movie should have.

I would love to talk about it, pros, cons, what you would like to see in a future installment, how you think it would work in accordance to this screenplay, etc...

Spoilers allowed obviously, since this is for the people who have read the script.

If you HAVE NOT read the script, and dont want to read the spoilers, then leave ;)

Reznor, could you send me the script? If you can't, can you talk about how Adam is in the script and what he goes through?

I'm just as obsessive about MOTU as I am with GI Joe...is there a link where I can see the script as well? I've only read bits and pieces from He-Man.org

some guy named Ted675 over there described a really cool scene with Battlecat fighting Adam and Teela, but that's all I really know apart from what the Latinoreview script review mentioned...with what happens to Randor, Kronis' origin as a palace guard etc.

I just read the script and i like how they took it into Los Angeles. I think courtney cox's character will be a great addition to the movie.......... oh wait i think i have the wrong MOTU script haha

If they do this movie right it will rock. All they have to do is stick close the the original story, and characters and everything will go smoothly. I.E. the new Hulk Movie, Transformers, Iron Man. If you pull a spider man 3 on this, or do something like the new Joe movie *tear* then its gonna flop like the original one did in the 80's. I know that the big movie companys probably feel that if they follow the original cartoons or comics people wont see it because they will bored with something they have already seen , But i dont think there is anyone in here that wouldnt want to see duke roll out in his green pants and khaki shirt, or a cobra trooper's plane get blown up and he jumps out of the cock pit shooting his rifle and lands safely on the ground. haha It doenst have to be spot on, but the original characters of all these old school cartoons are the reason we are still talking about this 25+ years later. If you change that then you just have an epic fail.

Principal from Back to the Future FTW!!!

The script is definately its own creation, there are a lot of liberties taken, characters tweaked, and old stories shuffled around, but all in all, it sounds like an epic, adult interpretation of what we knew from years ago. The characters for the most part, are the same in spirit. Duncan is the protector of Adam, and leader of the Eternian army, powered by all kinds of cool ass weapons and armor.

Teela is his bad-ass daughter, who at first is skeptical of Adam.

Adam is a naive kid who wants nothing but the death of Keldor/Skeletor, but must learn where his priorities should lie before he is able to find Castle Grayskull and fulfill his destiny.

The characters feel like characters, and not cardboard cut out adventure heroes.

There is no comedic sidekicks, hell, I cant remember chuckling at all in it, very dire surroundings, the good guys are going through hell.

Which is not very MOTU like, I admit, but it just felt right, the technology/magic mixed together, armor that did cool things, wierd weapons.

Imagine Conan with a mix of Star Wars, which is what the MOTU line has always felt like to me.

It definately has an epic feel, and could easily be branched out into further movies, and by the end of this script, I wanted to read more! I wanted to know where He-Man was going, I wanted to know what happened to the baddies that escaped, it was just a damn fun read.

Visually, if they would follow this script, wow. Imagine all the coolest scenes from Sci-fi movies and fantasy movies, and you could fit that kind of stuff all into this one movie!

Oh, and again, RAY WINSTONE AS DUNCAN!!!!!!!!! PLEASE MAKE THIS SO!!!! http://www.bifa.org.uk/asset/722/1064994977_large.jpg

And Ron Pearlman as Kronis/Trapjaw!!! PLEASE!!! ;)

(i'm horrbile with names,but..)Is it still being made by the people that done a interview in Toyfare a couple of months ago?I hope so,those guys were fans of MOTU and they were saying how Mattel gave them complete access to the MOTU archive. Is there still signs of it being a 3parter?

Could someone PM me the script too? or a link to read it at.

Well it was pointed out that spilling things out like I did may have not been the brightest thing to have done. So I didnt want to get anyone in any trouble so I trimmed back a lot of the stuff.

Man I wish we had a chat board in here or something, so I could talk about this stuff without fear of conflicting any terms of any kind.

When it comes to certain subjects, i just want to talk and talk and talk, even annoys me
