First off I'm a HUGE Marvel fan. Okay, any way the guy I work for owns a hobby shop and I get payed in both Store Credit and $$$. He ordered me 8 boxes of the new MARVEL BEGINNINGS trading card set. So every week I get a box and so far I've listed tons of RARE 1 0f 1 SKETCH CARDS, AUTOGRAPHS, and FOIL VILLAINS. Long story short I pulls this MUTH'A!

That's Right LARRY F'N HAMA! I know that's not his middle name but it should be. I'm on the fence about selling it. Just thought I'd give the Tanker's a chance to check it out and give them the heads up if they want to drop a bid on the Bay. If I sell it...

I would keep it unless you are really hard up for some quick cash.

Then again it might hold more personal value to you than what you might end up getting for it because you found it and you like Joes.

I just found 2 other Marvel cards signed by Larry Hama on eBay. They are both "Buy It Now" auctions. One is going for $38.00 and the other for $23.00, so it's not like you would be "making a fortune" or "retiring" from the sale of that card.

I would personally keep it since it's a cool piece and Larry Hama is the "Godfather" of Joes... LOL!

Wow these are sweet cards. I didn't even know they existed. But then for you to get that Hama card is incredible.

Sorry to say it's not worth much. Hama did the writing but Kubert's awful art makes it undesirable. One just like it fetched a whole $15 dollars on ebay in recently ended listings.

well this reminds my of this story:

I had that issue for sale in my store and some asshole came and stole the hologram, just ripped it off the cover. The issue was only a dollar.

Kubert's awful art? Now that's funny..

It doesn't get much value because of the storyline. It's one of the most hated of Wolverine's "career" and it was short lived and amounted to nothing, making the book that started it not worth much.
