Hey Guys,
I've been working on some more Joe drawings, and felt these two were adequate enough to be shared with the group XD When you look at them, you might initially feel I went overboard with the redesigns, but I think they work well with these particular characters. My style is far from traditional GI Joe fare, so please don't hold that against me. ; )
G.I. Joe Barbecue
the exagerated mouth plate has something I felt might have been overboard for a military design, but Barbecue himself is far from tactical in appearance. I tried to focus on him more as a firefighter than anything else... thus, the reflective tape and... a fire hyndrant backpack. No excuse for that one, really haha

I tried to emphasise his amphibious nature by giving him a swelled throat piece and bulging eyes, like a toad... and I really tried to avoid hard angles, and make everything flow.

For the record, these colors were not laid down by me, but another member of the on-line art gallery site, Deviantart.
Any comments would be welcome ... and of course, critiques, too! I am an ever growing artist, and one only grows as such if bombarded with negativity ; D
