I am. Beach, and Dusty are definites on my list as soon as I start building my Joe squad. Basically, it comes down to weather I go with Hawk, or Duke to lead. I'll eventually want Stalker, aswell. I guess it'll be between who I can get for a better price when I'm ready to start building them. For my first slot it's definitely between Beach and Dusty.

can anyone answer if this has the "Ratchet knees"?? (knees like Beachhead)....some were hoping they would go back to the way the knees were originally like Duke,Flint,Firefly etc

For those that have one on the way, post your pics when you get him. When I get the chance I will definitely be posting more. I’m really happy with this one. Possibly the best of the joes so far.

Thanks for pointing that out. (Pic fixed.) I don’t like how the sidshow patch sticks out. I was going to omit the 10th Mountain patches all together for the pics but decided to put the powder keg back on there last minute without the tab to fit the flag, and did not realize I placed it upside down till you mentioned it.

I happened to have another 10th Mountain patch and the size of this patch fits much better than Sideshow’s version.

Just got mine today...love the load out he comes with...tons of gear and the exclusive rocket propelled grenade.

Noticed that his backpack is similar to an Oakley mountain bike backpack I have that allows you to put his helmet strapped to it with a covering. These SS figures are so detailed it's not even funny.

I like his look with the beret with his goggles around his neck. Check out my pics (sorry for the poor lighting)...will take better ones with Firefly later.

Doesn anyones have a really dark face? Viper E7's looks nice and light where mine is pretty dark..kinda like Davestro's. I like the lighter one better. Anyone else 's like that?

Got mine on Wednesday, but it was a busy day so I finally got him fully kitted out yesterday. Loads of fun to put him together, though the face on mine is also darker than I expected.

This is the kind of stuff I really appreciate. I'd like to have some kind of tutorial for all the Sideshow Joes so that I can be told how to put them together properly.

Man, as great as Dusty is, Beachhead is still probably the standard...though Dusty's gear might be tighter overall in terms of how intuitively it comes together.

I held back on Beachhead cause I wanted the SS Exclusive with switch out portrait...now I regret it cause EBay prices are going high for him now.

I agree...BH probably should be the standard for Joes in the future, besides a new Snake Eyes with commando head.

Yeah, I had a strap that came off of mine too. Just used some Krazy Glue to fix it up. No big deal. Definitely think that the figure is a lot cooler than expected.

I never post my bash. I have my Dusty from SS still in the box but with( $23 shipped for head, uniform, helmet and boots) some Dusty parts and part I already had I made my own.

I got Dusty. My first SS, and I am impressed. I have read a lot of people saying that pictures do these guys no justice and you have to have these guys in hand to appreciate them. When I took this out of the box, I was elated over the detail, the fine work. The pouches, the zippers, the paint apps, the rounds visible at the top of the mags, the various velcro patches you can use to customize him, the slide even moves on the .45. WHAT. I could not believe it.

There were some issues. I had to superglue a couple of things like the patch on his beret, a piece of the sling for the rifle, and the strap for the goggles was about to fall off, so that needed a quick superglue. I also find it difficult to keep the tiny velcro to stick to each other, especially on his knife scabbard.

But man, these are tiny issues compared to how great this guy looks. I just got in the Ninja Viper and Stalker as well. Not as much equipment as Dusty, but they look great in the boxes and I can't wait to set them up as well.

Congrats, Disco! Love that background...fits in with Dusty's persona perfectly. Yeah, welcome to the Sideshow Sickness...it will not stop unless you get your "fix" every time a new figure is announced.

Check out the Desert Cobra troops (Sniper and Officer)...I plan to get the Weapons Cache and have the complete desert diorama.
But man, these are tiny issues compared to how great this guy looks. I just got in the Ninja Viper and Stalker as well. Not as much equipment as Dusty, but they look great in the boxes and I can't wait to set them up as well.

Heh, thanks. I'm seriously considering the Cobra Desert sniper and officer. I'm impatiently waiting for the Viper to have a Cobra trooper. But I will be making my own desert scene. I am willing to pay $$$ for these amazing figures, but I can't do that for scenes that I know I have the capacity to make (motivation is another story).

I know what you mean about the environments...I'd rather get another figure instead of dishing out $120+ for a set. For example, the Arashikage Temple is awesome in size and detail, but the almost $300 price tag is painful in the wallet.

I would like to see someone have the SSC Joes and Cobras displayed with the environments on a shelf or lighted cabinet...haven't seen anyone post yet, just mostly the figures and stands.
