This year I will be moderating the customizing fan group panel at Comic Con! With so many companies now supporting customizing I thought it would be a good idea to have toy industry professionals that customize as guests.

I plan on having my S.N.A.K.E. 2.0 there, so if you are going please drop by to talk about Joe customs and show off your work!

2:00 - 3:00 Customizing Action Figure Fan Group
Join a group of customizers who are also toy industry professionals including Justin Aclin editor of ToyFare magazine, Matt Doughty from Onell Design, Jesse DeStasio from Mezco Toyz, prototype painter for Marvel Legends Eddie Wires, Robert Torres freelance mold maker of former Art Asylum. From action figures to Urban Vinyl all will be discussed, pick their brains and get advise on how to take your customs to the next level. They will have their creations on display so bring your work as well, all scales, skill levels, all ages, all lines. The more the better. Moderator: Jazwares Art Director and customizer Joe Amaro. Room 24A

That's an awesome idea. Now I really wish I was going. I've met Jesse through my brother and he's a great guy, love his stuff. I've even have one of his Rex Ganon figures. If all goes well, maybe you can do it anually. I'd be thrilled to pick some of these guys' brains.

I would love to attend and see what awesome customs people are coming up with... Now Hasbro needs to send marketing and research and development folks there to see what the fans really want...

Anyone who attended last year's Comic Con remember the freakin' sweet customs in the Hasbro Joe display case? Why couldn't they have produced some of those figures instead of some of the rehashed figures in this year's assortments?!?

Oh hells yeah! I'm so going to be there. I hope its also on the event schedule booklet.

With all these great customs, Hasbro should be recruiting them to greater ensure its success of the 25th line.

Hey guys,
Comic Con is just around the corner!

Wesco sent me some samples of Magic Sculpt to give away.
So come by early so I can hook you up.
...But, I don't have that many.

I made my SerpentO.R. using Magic Sculpt.
