Hey was curious as to whut kind of a soundtrack you guys would like to hear in the Movie comming out in 09

Also whut do you think they will go with as far as music ?

Will it be Just A Score Or a Soundtrack of famous artist and songs ?

Cool topic, I love music and I think it will be "up-beat" maybe some cool 80's tunes like "jump" from Van Halen when Ripcord jumps out of a plane! if he does. Some ninja type composition, during the intro of snake-eyes:)

Movie Intro-
Star Spangled Banner playing ala Iced Earths' version all the while to the ever changing scenes of the Joe team gearing up in their own way heading out to face the impending storm.....

I'd rather have an awesome composed score than actual songs used but I know that isn't going to happen. They'll probably throw Linkin Park or Fallout Boy out as the title song or something. NIN is a good idea, though.

The band U2 played "Hold me, thirll me, kill me, kiss me" for one of the Batman movie.

I want to see U2 do a song or for the GI Joe Movie.

Kasabian or Rammstein if we have to have bands, but I'd prefer a purely orchestral score. Steve Jablonsky did such a great job on 'Transformers' (and 'The Island') that I think he should have a crack at it.

I believe that the live movie soundtrack should be based on the 8o's score of the G.I Joe cartoon. Or there should be a bonus CD with all the opening, ending and scores of the entire G.I Joe cartoon Seasons, movie and Sigma six. I have always wanted the G.I Joe cartoon soundtrack.

I, of course, am hoping for an epic orchestral score like original trilogy Star Wars or Lord of the Rings incorporating some of the melodies from the Joe theme in the Sunbow series.

What I'm expecting is a percussion-heavy techno score like a video game. And if there are any songs heard in the movie, I'm expecting hip-hop.
