hectorxd I do have an Air Soft UZI from Europe that has no red paint on the barrel- it’s just not in these sets of pictures.

I used to work for Raven Software and Steve Raffel one of the ex owners has a Halloween party ever year that I was going to ware it- but then I was laid off in 2002. I want to display it with a manikin. Someday I might even put it up for sale someday on Ebay.

The mask is just a regular nomex hood that I bought at a sporting good store that I had sewn the center of the eye opening area together. Then stretching out the mask on an ironing board and then using a 4x4 label sheet, cutting out the triangles as a stencil for the fake air-vents, and then finally using a grey acrylic paint to paint them on. The goggles are an ATV goggle that I got at Farm and Fleet in Janesville Wisconsin. I will post pictures and a list of all the components as soon as I can.

Magick No that is not Kari. I did have to clone out her nips in the photo because the spandex is too tight and tends to show a lot more. Don’t need the kiddies to see something that they might see in here and then tell mom and dad about it.

Viper6 The thing is that this version of Snake didn’t carry a sword. To be honest- I like Snake Eyes the commando better then the other versions. I guess it’s because that was my very first G.I.Joe that I ever got. I still remember bringing him home from Burdines in Miami FL. Spent $7.99 on him, but it was worth it.

By the way, I know Sherri has been getting a lot of attention but I must say this, that snake eyes costume is fantastic. I can not think of a better costume. You should consider making the haul to Dragon Con in Atlanta this year. People would eat that costume up big time.

However, she has been a fan of G.I.Joe since she was a kid. She is 33 years old and owns the original action figure from 1982. She's a Joe geek like all of us. :)

I know that this post is non Joe related, but I had to because I'm so proud of my little girl Jessica. She had placed 4th overall in the Madison Soap Box Derby on Saturday afternoon.

Hi, I've been Snake-Eyes costuming myself since 1998, and people on this thread were mentioning both Wizard World Chicago and Dragon Con Atlanta. Both are places I sometimes JOE costume at. We have a group every year at Dragon Con of JOE costumers, in fact. My suit is "mostly" based on the 1985 figure.

I LOVE your 1982 Snake-Eyes costume, man!!! I especially love how you did your mask. Looks very cool. Great hood and goggles you chose.

Hey MLos1, I’ll give the unmasked Snake Eyes thing a try. The make-up shouldn’t be too hard to do- in fact I could maybe do something in PhotoShop.

Doc- it took me just a little over a year to gather all of the items from various surplus sites and stores. I even had to have someone custom sew some of the stuff.

MTN it cost me about $240 to put the clothing part of it together- with the sewing that I had the seamstress sew on the pockets to the sweater and stuff. with weapons, boots and the extra stuff it came to around $500. I was thinking that eventually I was going to sell it it on ebay if I ever need the money. The costume has only been worn 5 times since it had been put together in early 2004, and it was usually at parties that I wore it.

Just so everyone knows the facts, I bought the Spider-Man Costume from a woman that does body suits for runners, and she just happens to make super hero costumes on the side. Her name is Margaret and her email address is MargaretW8@aol.com I don't have her website off hand, but if you email her I'm sure she'll give it to you if you ask.
