My money's on the new characters being killed off - Satori, Khalikhan, Vargas... we have nothing invested in them and seeing them usurp the title wouldn't have much drama to add to the story.

Then again, I'm not sure how long this storyline will stretch, so maybe we'll get to know them better.

I think the question that intrigues me the most is "who WAS Cobra Commander?"

Someone unknown...I just think that is part of the mystique of CC. I have no problem with this - that is I have no problem with it not being one of the ones on the list or even in the story.

Not sure, but it won't be Serpentor, Destro, or Baroness.

Serpentor isn't even a candidate and I'm not that Destro is either, He and Baroness are important enough characters in their own rights that they will be kept aside as foils for the new CC.

I don't know anything about these new characters yet, but I'm guessing... Tomax? Or possibly Monk.

One thought about the CCW storyline. This has been introduced to us as a race of sorts of various Cobra Command figures to kill off as many Joes as possible. But considering the title, shouldn't be expect it to turn into a "civil war" sooner or later?

Is it just a matter of time before we see Vipers facing off against Blueshirts? Who commands the allegiance of the BATs and perhaps most importantly, the CGs? Which Cobra soldiers will pick which candidate commander, and which will sit on the sidelines and wait to see who emerges as the most likely winner?

This could be an ideal time to delve a little onto the factionalized aspect of the Cobra forces. Perhaps I'm imagining this all, but to me Civil War sounds much more competitive than just a race to kill Joes.

Whoa...good point. As of right now it looks like the CG's are on the side of the Baroness. I could see the Vipers and Blueshirts remaining under Krake's control. However, that is assuming Bludd doesn't out manuever him there. He was in charge of the infantry in the old days. This should be one heck of a ride.

I'm leaning towards Oda but this isn't going to end with a simple winner. I have a feeling Krake is just going to kill off the council and this turns into a last man standing scenario.

Gut is also thinking Zartan is a consideration when this game changes.
