Resolute Dial-Tone by vince_chua

Hi everyone, finally completed my resolute Dial-tone! I know this is so outdated but I just wanted to do this as I didn't like what Hasbro has given us in the ROC 5 pack. I take a lot of inspiration from Hisstank moderator, cerarus's version. This custom took me the longest to complete, more than 5 months due to priority and budget constraint. I had completed the custom minus the legs way before any of my other female customs so I just painted the face but left the eyes as they were as I wasn't confident of painting them during that time. Also I gave her a 'Joe Pad' instead of the lap-top. So without blabbing more, here is my version. Hope you guys dig it. :)

I didn't do the legs from SDS justice with my limited skills. The feet that came with it were a bit loose so I replaced them with similar ones from 25th Scarlett. But the joint was different. So when I forced them in, it caused a bit of bulge at one of the ankle and the other ankle had a slight split. And also my painting sucks. :(

I know this is one of my worst custom but overall I'm still pleased with the result and boy am I glad I got it done and over with :)

Your worst? Dude, this is fantastic! Crisp, sharp paint, uniform looking parts and assembly and it looks like the subject...what more could you ask for! :)

Nice job! I seem to recall her skirt being shorter, but that may have just been me. I keep hoping that Hasbro will make either this figure or the IDW one. The TRU one isn't bad, but she makes a better 'Helix in Dress uniform' figure.

I only saw resolute once, so I didn't remember her/what she looked like. But just in general, this is a great custom. I had thought about using that dress with that torso but the torso is so short, it just didn't work well. But the shirt bottom being extended solves the problems with it and really works.

I love it great job man. The coolest thing is, it is a figure we would never get from Hasbro in a million years. Those are the best customs to me.
