Who should play Flint?

Flint was my fave back in the day (and now too). Sad he won't be in the movie, but seeing the direction they are going in ,I'd just as soon they didin't.
Anyway. If you could take off ten years or so I'd go with Bruce Campbell. He's got a square jaw, He's a smart ass. By my accounts the perfect Flint.

But he's kinda 50 years old now.

Today I'd go with Justin Theroux, He's in allot of David Lynches new movies. IMO He's a tottal bad ass in those. So I'd go with him.

i dunno if many of you ever watched mutant X (not the best show in the world) but the actor bye the name of Victor Webster who played coop on the final season of chamred and was Brennen Mulwray in mutant i think would bea pretty kick ass flint. :>

If I could pick actors all-time, I would probably go with James Garner (more his Maverick character than his other work), Glen Ford, William Holden, or maybe even Harrison Ford, mostly for attitude. In terms of more contemporary actors, I actually wouldn't mind seeing George Clooney or Thomas Jane, though Clooney is too old. I think he definitely needs wit and a sense of humor, like Delta suggests, but I think that Campbell would be a bit too over the top. I'm not familiar with this Theroux fella. I do really like the Fillion choice, though.

hmm hugh jackman? well if i hadnt already gotten used to him as wolvie i would say yah. But the Nathan fillion choice just has me synched on him. Especially given how much i loved the show firefly and the movie serenity. Now everytiume i watch that damn show im gonna be thinking of him as flint. Damnit :> lol

Campbell is just really over the top in the Evil Dead movies. Him, and Rami geek out over the Three stooges, and start to get all silly. He wasen't SUCH an over actor in the Brisco County series.

Theroux is a seriously good actor, and a badass of young Marlon Brando proportions IMO. But he dose do crap like Charlie's Angels 2.
So I don't think it would be out of the question for him to do something like GI.Joe

when i read the thread title in the sidebar, on the front page, bruce campbell came to mind. yeah, he may be a tad old for the action figure version of flint....but i could see him as an older flint nonetheless.

Flint was kinda , not a pretty boy, but kinda like this Handsome cocky dude. Not a dandy either (cobra Commander on the other hand was).
Allot of people have said George Clooney. He's good at that kind of role. However, (and I'm shure I got this backward) he always seemed like a poor mans Bruce Campbell too me. Well not a poor mans, but a tasteless man's Bruce Campbell.

Can this Fillion guy act like that? Not sold on him. He's not Handsome enough
