the pilot (is it the black dragon pilot? is that the name?) whose design is based off of the pilot of Baroness' ship - does anyone have a close up of that figure's head? In the shots I have seen it looks like the hole gap in the helmet where we see his nose and mouth in the show is replaced by a grey.. thing... can anyone confirm or deny this? I hope we get a cartoon accurate head because it is a great design. Too bad the rest of the figure isn't accurate already. I'll be pretty bummed if they didnt go all out on the head and messed up his mouth and nose.

Too bad that ship is no way near to scale with what is on the show. I mean this is definitely cool but it would be nice to have a bigger version that held multiple figures... That pilot is hella cool, can't wait to get this... If it ever actually gets released that is... Ross I am looking in your direction! LOL!

why didnt they give him a mouth like in the show?? it looks so weird.... I hope the head is customizable so that part can be removed....

As far as I know there is no other head for this figure... so unless you plan to customize, what you will be getting in the masked version. Which I think is more aesthetically pleasing.

Harder for Hasbro to screw up on the sculpt. LOL

Although I do like the renegades trooper that has swappable heads.

You're right edhellman, the face portion of the helmet doesn't look right, it looks about the same color as his gloves. And the left hand looks a little funky too. But I assume it is still just a prototype. Hopefully the released product ends up looking more like the toon version.

The small scale of this VTOL still bothers the hell out of me. I wish they had simply picked a smaller vehicle from the show (Flight Pods perhaps) to introduce, one that would actually make sense as a relatively small toy.

Trust me guys the head is awesome on this figure. Those pics dont do it justice. I saw it at joe con and its perfect. It has mouth shown and the cool pointed chin part as well. This figure is sweet. The head is the best part.

Yes, instead of it being a troop carrier like in the cartoon.. it is a one man VTOL scout like vehicle.

I can't wait for this figure and I can't wait to get another off ebay at some point so I can use the head for the trouble bubble trooper shown this week!

It should have been the size of the ROC Gunship, with room for a couple guys in the middle.

Hmmm... maybe I can chop of the wings, tail, and cockpit, and stick them on the gunship?

The figure is awesome, but that vehicle looks like the next step up after the Cobra Claw.

I hadn't realized how small they were. What's the price point supposed to be?

You know I think I'm wrong. I think the face does have a cloth looking thing covering his mouth. I believe based on concept pic of the pilot. Still is badass.

argh oh ok. well, I guess I'll have to dust my dremel moto tool off.. or start bugging slayer design studios... :)

Now that dude could look awesome as a figure. You know, his bodysuit kinda reminds me of Zartan's suit from Knock Offs. Both could have maybe shared a sculpt.

Sorry man. I'm a renegades devotee and I really liked how the head looked though. I want those bubble pilots in a bad way!
